Thank you oh so very much. It works as it should and is very nice to fly with. That worked and fixed the issue. Thanks Again, Wayne

Thanks and a big sorry is in order. I was using the wrong files and have now set things up using only Helios 1.6 and FA-18C Ver.3b. I now have my second monitor displaying the MIP and all of the displays and gauges display properly, but my main cockpit display is stretched to two monitors and the displays are transparent (pics attached). I have also included my settings page if required. If you need more information, please don't hesitate to ask and I will send it ASAP. Thanks Again, Wayne

I have the A-10C thing figured out and all of the DDI/AMPCD/UFC/RWR/IFEI are all working now, but the rest of the gauges and switches are not. I am using the 2_monitors-FA18C in the Monitor setting instead of the requested Helios setting in Monitors. When I use Helios and have the Main Instrument Panel (MIP) on my second monitor nothing goes there as it should. Instead, my main display is extended to the second monitor that is covered up with the Helios cockpit MIP. How do I get this corrected or what do you need to figure this out? Thanks Again, Wayne

I have OvGME working and this error seems easy, but I couldn’t find the A-10C profile that it told me to open. Thanks, Wayne

I seem to have an issue now and don’t know how to correct it. Any help would be greatly appreciative. Thanks, Wayne

Check out Leo Bodnar sim equipment here: http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/ I have his BBI-32 for switch inputs and it is very easy Plug and Play. I am looking at getting his BBI-64, a few, to use for all of my switch inputs. They also handle his rotary encoders.

Good day everyone, I have been working on my aerial refueling and trying to get my Logbook entry counter to go up. I am getting connected and 'You are taking fuel' call but the logbook counter seems to have a requirement to make that register as one. I have 4 in my logbook yet have connected a number of times. Yesterday I took over 500lbs in each of my two connections, but it stayed at 4. Does anyone know what that threshold is for making that change? My other connections were over 1500lbs per connection, I think. Thanks Again, Wayne

Thanks for the help that was given to me. I have cleared the last issue with the missing image. Now when I go to fly with Helios and the F/A-18 I get the image included here. How do I clear this? When I use the Helios setting ‘2-monitors-FA18C I have the two monitor setup, but only my LDDI, RDDI, and MFCD are working on my cockpit display monitor. Nothing else seems to be working. What is wrong and how do I fix it? Thanks in advance, Wayne Wilson

Thanks for the help BluFinBima. I see that I am using the newest version of the Hornet v3.0 in the top left corner of the Profile editor, but still don't know how to fix this issue. Should I uninstall Helios v1.4 and go with a fresh install or still get frustrated trying to fix this one? I followed the video, but it was with a fresh install and not installed over v1.4. Thanks Again, Wayne Wilson

I have made the leap from 1.4 to 1.6 and while going through the checklist of warnings I have this one in the picture and don’t know how to properly correct and clear it. Any help would be great! Thanks, Wayne Wilson

I have watched Lex Tailionis video's a lot and found them very great for the theory and practical stuff. I have also watched Jabbers video, link below, and follow it. I am still not great at landing on the carrier, but getting better as time and flights get logged. I have been working a lot on my airfield landings and getting them down to perfection. I have started to add weather to my mission and use it for added excitement. Small steps and build on the last skill you managed to get figured out and somewhat mastered. Enough said for now. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE and then more practice. Happy flying and this pilot stuff is NOT easy. Keep flying and learning on every flight. Wayne

Thanks. I needed to go in and turn it on in the Installed modules screen. It works now. Thanks again. Thanks, Wayne

I copied and pasted this to the Heatblur F-14 thread. I think it should go there and not here. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks, Wayne

I just downloaded and installed the AJS-37 and the F-14 Tomcat from Heatblur to try them out and the F-14 Tomcat is not showing up in DCS (the AJS-37 is there and works.) It is not in the bottom modules list. I had it installed during the free trial earlier on in this pandemic, but it is not there now. How do I get it back? I have a small confession to make, after I was done with the last free trial a few months ago it kept asking for a key to activate it, so I hit the garbage can and deleted it. Please help me. I checked the main Eagle Dynamics folder on my C drive and it is there. Thanks in Advance, Wayn

I am taking another go at using this to get my Phidgets LED64 Advanced board up and running in DCS World. I heard that the functionality is already there and working and would love to have my LED's working in DCS as they already do in P3D. I already had this working before and stopped using it as I was getting some weird stuff happening. Found out it was the overclocking I did on my video board that was causing the issues. Now that everything has been working great, time to get back into Helios. I went to activate my F/A-18C mod and get this warning (attached as jpeg.) What is the issue and how do I correct it? Many thanks. Thanks, Wayne

Is it hard to get this to work with the F/A-18C in DCS? I have my Phidgets LED 64 Advanced working in P3D with the VRS Super Hornet and love it. I have had issues with getting Helios to work in the past, probably all my fault. I had tried the OvGME to get it to work and find varying conflicting info video's and how to set it up correctly. I guess I should try again and get it to work. Thanks for posting this and helping us all get our pits more functional and more immersive. Cheers, Wayne

Try watching Jabbers video. It helped me get my stuff in order and get better at gettin' on the boat. Hope this helps. I am a visual person and need to see it to get it. Cheers, Wayne

Thanks for all the advice and help. I was thinking the same as 'Greyman' and 'rob10.' It is more realistic and accurate to 'walk the throttles' and set according to RPM. It was just a little OCD poking out of my closet to get things perfect. LOL!!! Thanks Again, Wayne

I have been flying a lot and working on my AAR with a C130. Up until today I have always flown with my throttles independent and not locked together. Today I tried it with them locked together for a little more ease and they are not even in the controller display window. This will cause uneven thrust and a slight push to one side, not great when flying in very close proximity to another aircraft. What is the easiest way to fix this? In Axis Tuning? Please see the picture attached. Thanks, Wayne

I am Canadian and I was just promoted to a rank that doesn't exist in the Canadian Air Force rank structure. I think it was First Lieutenant. I would be happy to help with this and get it correct for us Canadian flyers, Eh! Thanks, Wayne

Would it be possible to add in the Logbook view the amount flown in the last flight for each aircraft? Is there an ability to bring our flight log in to an spreadsheet, like Excel, to view from desktop and not in the game? I would like to view my weekly hours and work on making an increase. Set a goal and attain it. Thanks, Wayne

Here is the vital step that I missed to get my tanker to communicate as a tanker. 1. Left click on your tanker; 2. Ensure that Waypoint 0 is selected in the Waypoint option; 3. Click "EDIT" than "ADVANCED (WAYPOINT ACTIONS)"; 3. Click "ADD" at the bottom next to "INS" selection and the ADD box will pop up; 4. Select "Start Enroute Task" in Type drop down; and 5. Select "Tanker" in the Action drop down and ensure ENABLE TASK box is CHECKED. The "2. Tanker" should now appear as it does in the photo enclosed and your Tanker is now able to be contacted via comm selection F6. If I have made any errors in these steps and someone notices them, please feel free to correct my errors in a following post. I am new here and using the Mission Editor. Thanks, Wayne

I have taken advantage of a few of the free two day trials on the aircraft side and noticed, and liked, what the F-14 was doing in the Options/Control tab. It was nice to have the option of 'On and all else off' option. Especially when it came to getting by homemade cockpit setup quickly for that aircraft. Saves the hassle of going in and setting up the "DOWN" and "UP" function. Is it possible to get those selections added some time in the next little while for us cockpit builders. Please and Thank You Off to practice my AAR in the Hornet behind a Herc. Thanks, Wayne

You were correct, not that I dobted you for a second. I looked at another tanker mission with a KC-130 and found that I failed to set it as tanker. I just ckecked my mission and everything works now. I may upload it for others, but probably not as it is from the video in my opening thread. I may post a picture of what I didn't do so others won't make the same mistake. I do have a fair amount of time at home now that we in the Canadian Forces are ordered to stay home and call this our temporary place of work. Cheers, Wayne
