Do I want a two seat jet that has less fuel, and has zero need for a second crewman?? hell no. Id rather get a full fidelity F-8 crusader or Super E.

Babby steps bro, a functional hornet is what you should seek

Debatable, wouldnt a single seat tomcat variant have been awesome? Yes fantastic. ;-)

I would definitly mute him, probably consider ejecting him to increase lethality

They key with player modded terrain will be accessibility to the greater dcs community. Whether this would be a third party building a ww2 globe or enthusiasts building them as a labor of love, they must be made available to the broader dcs userbase. The last thing this very small community needs is map makers witholding them and fracturing an almost dead ww2 dcs community. Things to also factor in, would they be considered mods? and if so marketing it as such, getting the playerbase on the same playbook so you dont get an error when joining saying your not compatible. Communication is paramount if its not official map content.Another thing to ponder, is the juice worth the squeeze for dcs ww2?

Zero vs F4F would be perfect with a completed VEAO P40. Begin building something besides 1944 in which competitors are trying to capture market share. This could easily be adjusted with large maps of water and a sliver of coastline to simulate different theatres.

Your rhino looks like its dimensions length wise are off. Could be the angle of the screenshot.

Its probably just a matter of time before map size increase, especially with the level of detail we see on Nevada. I'm assuming the entire west coast would melt some PCs. 10 years from now when whe have the i18 with 100 cores all being used and the GTX 12000 with 50GB of memory perhaps we will see this.

On my wish list, most of this is physically on the map, just at the super low res texture quality. Easy addition to add Edwards thru Fallon and multiple airframes could benefit from this. Picture attached.

Carrier based fighters bombers and torpedo bombers

CSG-1 is looking for people interested in Dedicated ATC rolesSnappShot replied to Greekbull's topic in Multiplayer ATC is gonna be a tough one to crack outside your casual players. Most want to fly and do some GCI on the side, imo. A recomendation might be to have new recruits get a GCI ATC fam giving all members the ability to do this role. Been there trying to get gci, the method above worked OK, asking for dedicated was answered with silence for me.

A better analysis would be comparing the two aircraft's spirit animal...Hornet- Rabid Bald Eagle, Flanker- Parakeet
-
Chuck Norris is dissapointed in you.
-
And you call yourself a Michigander, Flankers better than a Hornet pfhh. You must be the kinda guy that says Fiat>Ford in your neck of the woods.
-
You make my point for me, silence is golden, not a bunch of "watch the deck." Sorry jester your eyes sucked so you couldnt be a pilot, so be quiet before i eject......

Will you be able to mute the AI WSO in the back for sanity sake upon release?

FCLP'S are the "mission"...equipment required are IFLOLS, Carrier box with appropriate lighting, and ICLS. These are all part of FCLP practice. Movlas would be nice as well, another task while FCLPing.
-
Movlas requires an lso to use, but isnt the lso himself. Human controlled meatball essentially. Can be used when deck is moving and iflols cant keep up. On the other hand, the lso can give a verbal talkdown. Movlas essentially is installed over the normal lens. It is highly sought after for greenie board purposes.
-
This is a longshot but hey, who knows. Any chance for MOVLAS with another player controling? This will be a great addition for pitching deck ops. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optical_landing_system
