Ok thanks, I did it in normal mode and rebooted the computer. I found a way to do it via cmd line, I will experiment it later. I have to test if a reboot is needed or not.

Micro-stuttering / hitch & Frametime spikes issue
Plon replied to Rachmaninoff's topic in Game Performance Bugs
Thank you so much @FupDuck, disabling power services solved my stuttering problem !!! (I9 9900K, RTX 2080, 32Gb, SSD) -
Hello, after years of stuttering (30 to 40 fps loss, every 10~20 seconds) in flat screen and VR, years of trying everything I read on DCS forum, I finally find the solution given here : I just disabled the power service in services.msc No single stutter since then ! As I don't know the effect of doing this on power consumption and anything else, does anybody knows how I can disable it and enable it with batch file/command line ? Hope this help people here !

Mi-24P Stream Deck with DCS-ExportScript
Plon replied to Bailey's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hello, noob question here, do I have to put the icon folder somewhere to have all icon showing on the streamdeck ? -
Use zoom out slow and zoom in slow instead.
-
Hello, one thing that make big difference in VR for me is to put your flatscreen display in fullscreen (alt+enter). big fps boost.
-
I think you're totally right, as I enter every time directly in DCS without doing calibration ! (and turning light on helps a lot ! (coming form oculus CV1...) This actually solved my problem :) Thank you very much !

Hello, I'm a new HP reverb owner and I might need some help... Sometimes, when I launch DCS I do not have any translation movement (left/right & forward/backward) Only rotational movement. I don't know what is causing this issue... May not be DCS related. Does anybody have already experienced that problem ? (I have followed Vr for DCS website instruction when I first installed my headset...)

Stable and open beta installed : only one config folder
Plon replied to Plon's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Absolutely great and quick answer !!! Thank you very much ! :) -
Hello, I have installed the stable version by copying the open beta folder and updating (downgrading in fact...) it to the latest stable. Both version works, but I only have the DCS.openbeta in the saved game folder. Is there any way to create in the Saved game folder, a DCS folder and edit a config file to link the stable version to it ? Or force it to create one ? Thanks for your help and sorry for my bad english !

Edit : the problem is still present in windowed mode...
-
Working fine now with latest patch.
-
I had that too (Bf 109 rearm and refuel, not always working).
-
Same here... (VR) And same technique too.. :)
-
I have the same problem too. MuLtiple ALT+enter does not solve it. When I have full screen mirror, I have a really higher framerate on my oculus CV1 and it prevent clicking out of the DCS windows and losing focus on the game (happen all the time). The mouse has never been really confined in the DCS windows and can always get out, if you click at this exact time, you loose focus on it and all input does not work anymore ingame.
-
Did you try to double click your mouse wheel and then turn il backward ? Il works when in non vr mode to move your head base position front & back.
-
Thanks Greg, will do that !

Hello CHPL, I've only done the first mission and it was a real pleasure to fly. The way the « story » advance with non planned events, the places you choose for the action. It was really a great flight with some tense moments and great landscapes. By the way I'm no expert pilot, still learning to master the Huey and the difficulty is exactly what I needed (Stuck for now in the Argo campaign because of the broken search light). The fact that the mission was quite long (not sure how long exactly) is creating some tension as i fly it twice because of an aggressive tree and a first crash or maybe my bad flying skills, not sure… The fact that you timed it with external event that have no incidence with the mission make it feel more immersive. The first mission was full of small surprises... It makes it far more interesting than a linear « go from A to B do this and come back »... So I can say it works :) I'll do another feedback when i'll have time to fly some more missions. PS : Where do I find your discord channel ?
