I have a 2tb NVME just for DCS and it's almost full so I'd consider at least a 4tb for future updates etc, I'm getting extremely close to having to upgrade to one.

I've just been looking for a solution to this problem and noticed you have exactly the same issue as me. 15 Mins in play and i crash to desktop with the same pre-sets as yourself.

Because not everyone has High Performance Systems.

I tried this for the first time today and it's blown my mind with the level of detail and performance. It's just a real shame we can't use it online, I dont want to take the risk.

The Typhoon was first teased back on March 27th, 2020 which was some time ago. The F35 timescale could potentially be the same.

Not really because you can still bind the controls and not save them and they will still be fine when he comes to boot up DCS again. He needs to save them individually as keyboard, stick, throttle etc it's only when you hit a brick wall you really need to save them profiles. I don't think he's to bothered in all fairness and wants to be able to play the sim. Catastrophic failure on this thread in my eyes so VERY CLEAN install is on the cards I recon.

personally my thoughts right now would be a complete new install. Download Revo Uninstaller and delete DCS, also make sure you delete the registry files on the Revo uninstaller for DCS and start again mate.

Make sure your key bindings are saved and safe before doing or you will be spending a week binding keys etc.

i have the exact same issue on a ryzen 9 7950x3d, 4070 and 32 gb ram. Ive tried HAGS OFF, Disabled core 0, Parked cores, you name it. Still can not find a solution to the problem. dcs.log

So in the end I had to turn off the Real time Protection, Windows defender, private networks to OFF and it installed fine. The Pure Client message came back after a couple of games on the Online Server. Seems my problem is I pushed my Ram up from 6400mhz to 6800mhz before this happened yesterday and when it happened again today I turned the clock back down to 6400mhz and the Pure Client message has vanished. Hope this helps out some poor bugger in need of a fix. Hope I've posted this correctly

Did you find a solution to your problem? I've currently got the same problem, all started for me when it kept asking for Pure Client so decided on a new install and now have this problem.

I get them type of people at work that no matter how bad the company is, even if they was for the chopping block they still bum management all day long and think its the best thing since sliced bread Hahahaha
