mission bug in the first two missions I've played the wingman isn't launching from the carrier when I take off. it starts up and taxis to cat 2 fine but when I launch he just sits there on the cat

Ground crew wont respond because they say the engines aren't at idle so I cant rearm and I cant shut off ground power when cold starting Don't worry I think its on ED end because its doing it with more than just the tomcat

Yea I’ve gotten a 3wire dead engine landing. Had to glad about 40 miles back to the boat also I’ve got a video of about the last minute or so of the flight had someone RIO’ing and he made the video. I’ll see if I can’t upload it here soon Link above is the video

The A may be outdated but would work great with the warrior coming. Beside the A kicked ass and took names in the first golf war would love to see the A come to DCS. But then again I love the tomcat so go figure. For me the A is like the tomcat and the longbow is like a hornet with all the bells and stuff. I’ll take the A

Yea I hear you with this coming out I’ll have to dust off my copies of janes longbow gold and longbow 2 and and play them some. I know they still work on Windows 10 Just need someone to come out and say they have an AH-64A in the works and my year will be complete

As for Star Wars when trying to AAR I’ve heard him say stay on target stay on target sorry I just had to do that, use the force Luke. First time I flew it I heard him go hog ehh 12 o’clock low I’ve also heard him say nice 3 wire don’t look back now but I think the LSO has a boner and a couple of other very funny ones

Hey Ironmike. Was wondering if and when jester would have the ability to fix INS alignment issue inflight through either visual, tacan, or radar fix. Is this something that’s in the works. Also any idea on when the manual will be updated to include information on what each options and sub-option under the jester menu does. Over all you guys have really outdone yourself. It’s a great plane to fly and lovin’ every minute of it

It’s a bug where your taken a hit to the engines and gone down then when you respawn and try to start it again it still thinks the engine is running been there since Tomcat release. Only fix right now is to completely exit dcs and restart the game

Now if we could just get a TM Tomcat joystick that would work with the A-10C warthog hotas base would be cool

my biggest issues with FPS rates in VR with DCS world came when we lost the option to turn off deferred shading up till that point I was get pretty good frames with riff in VR ranging from upper 30 to upper 40's and that was with a little bit older systems. once we loss the option to turn deferred shading off or on my frames have been stuck in the upper teens to low 20's. any chance we could have to option back as to if we want deferred shading on or off seem more of a frame rate killer than anything else

Hey jabbers I’m almost inrested I’m seeing a multi Phoenix launch in TWS mode on say some bank era and fighter size aircraft would it be possible for you do to that in one of your videos think all I’ve seen is STT launches and ACM launch overrides so far thanks for all the great videos

Ok let list all that’s wrong with the current setup from ED 1st mig-19 was never going to have a presell because it wasn’t going to be released as a beta build. It was to be complete on launch. 2nd ED told razbam it wasn’t complete and to go back and finish it. ED also said that’s it wouldn’t hold up the Tomcat release. 3rd Heatblur summited their RC build to ED before before razbam resubmitted the mig-19 back again for approval. 4th ED oks the release of the mig-19 is a slap in the face to Heatblur for doing the job right and not pushing a build before it is ready. ED should have told razbam that they lost their right to a first release because the sent in a build that wasn’t ready had to take a month to fix it and it now to close to the maximum release time frame that ED and Heatblur agree to so Heatblur has the priority on a release date first now. Plus the fact that the Tomcat is the bigger launch of the two is part of the reason we didn’t have it last year with the hornet release. ED didn’t want it and the Tomcat competing with each other. 5th and this is just my personal opinion is I see the Tomcat coming out now by March 21 because it will still be to close to the release of the mig-19 and they don’t want them to compete against each other. If they did they would hold off on the mig-19 another week and test both of them and release them at the same time a week from today Cobra you and Heatblur you have all of support just wished ED would quit screwing around with you all

True but the mig-19 was also suppose to be complete on release so there wasn’t going to be a presell or open beta for it which is why I believe ED put the brakes on the MIG-19 cause it wasn’t ready were as Heatblur has said I believe that they wouldn’t turn it over to ED until was was ready to be launched

And all I’m saying is that wags has already in a way given a release date when he said end of the month earlier in February . I mean yea I want to fly it as much as the next guy but I’m not going to go sharpen a pitchfork just cause it doesn’t drop that day. If ED had taken even half as long with the hornet as Heatblur is with the Tomcat the hornet wouldn’t be in the bad shape it’s in right now. Now I’ll admit it has gotten better since it’s release but it still doesn’t have a fully functional IFF system which is one of it core functions fully functional which it should have had before it was even really for open beta. I think Heatblur is doing a great job and wish ED would learn and follow there lead. ED is already saying that the F-16 won’t have a fully functional IFF until it’s almost out of open beta. So take it as you will

Well if it’s not the 27th the next open best patch is March the 16 but I’m hoping for next week myself been waiting on a good Tomcat since the days of top gun on the NES and Jane’s USNF

No the real question is how many MIG-28 pilots are ready to get killed on the pvp servers but the Tomcat

On February 4 you posted you hope to have the manual for the Tomcat out this week but my slip some into next into next week. Was wondering where will we able to find manual at when it ready. Also do you know if it will be ready this week or will it be the early part of next week. Thanks for all of heatblur great work on the Tomcat and can’t wait to fly it

I personally look at it this way. With the extra time heatblur is taking we are going to get a more complete aircraft. Where as ED released the hornet a couple of months to early knowing that the vast majority of us would be in multiplayer with it and it didn’t even have a working IFF system and still doesn’t really to date. So I’m all for HB taking as much time as then need to finish what they think needs to be finished. If I had a complaint which I don’t it would be nice to know if they think we will have it in February or March but that’s it. HB keep making a great product been in love with the Tomcat since the early/mid 80 with G.I.Joe and the XP-14F skystriker so keep up the great work. Can’t wait to fly it.
