  1. The MB339 explodes when taxi. I fly with a rather attentive and professional group. We all have the thing explode. It seems to find a hole in the ground and fall through. It seems to hit bumps that make your pilot representation get GLOC and black out. This is when taxi slow and has nothing to do with NWS on or off. Cold start, hot start. All the same. All airfields. The module is quite a mess with it in this state. I would like to use the MB339 as a trainer. At the moment it is unusable for this. I see bugfixes come out for the MB339, but nothing about the exploding on taxi. Would be real easy for the developer to taxi a bit and see for them selves. I can live with small bugs and errors. But exploding on taxi is a game/sim breaker. An Please IndiaFoxtrotEcho, be vocal about this issue, talk about it and say you know it is an issue. See if you can work with Eagle Dynamics to find a solution. Looking forward to seeing a change here.
  2. Please ED can the usage of the Break out force be a checkbox in the Special menu? This would let us with normal sticks to enjoy the module better. Now there is not a good way to set this up so that you can fly precise, like for AAR. It feels like there is a dead zone in the middle. Hope to see a change here. Frustrated to the point of not wanting to fly the module.
  3. Well, I am assuming in this response you are talking about those 24hour a day servers that are always up and running or close to that concept. I am talking about running missions with briefs at the start and flight groups have tasks set. Those tasks are part of a larger set of tasks carried out by other flight groups. There are a great deal of people that enjoy that kind of simulation. Those groups are not visible due to the squadron nature of the community. I guess there will always be a group that loves what I call AirQuake, or AirFragger, where starting up, flying, exploding, starting up again is the nature of the evening. In those cases it is crystal clear to me that hot starts is the best way to go. And there are a great deal of people that love bespoke missions with a brief and having times pre-briefed on when to go off chocks to taxi. Where your flight group has a clear goal and you know what your team mates are doing and what all of you are attempting to achieve these next two hours. Then server goes down until next weeks sortie. For those/us having the ability to choose as mission creators to disable autostart would be nice. REMEMBER - this is an option for the mission creator, not that all will do it that way. Nice to have the option.
  4. Well, no. We as mission creators can just make that happen our selves if we can do it by zone. All we need is to be able to deactivate lighting within a zone. We set up a trigger that is when bomb in zone then turn off lights. We have that today, but not the "turn off lights" part. If we can turn off all lights in a zone we are there. That is what is needed. Can it be done? weeelll that is is another discussion all together.
  5. It It is about taking the arcade out of it. Time is not the issue here. If people can manual coldstart faster than autostart and get all systems online then GREAT!!! I am all for that. Just remove the arcade start.
  6. The distances between Caucasus, Syria and Persian Gulf are small. I am hoping for terrain like the west-most part of Caucssus to bind these maps together. Just flat terrain at 0 feet. Poorly outlining major lakes and shores. I fully accept to have green ground sharply changing to brown. My hope is to have one map load enroute. The flight over in these short small areas in between them is long enough to have plenty of time to "unload" and load a new one. Yes yes. There are plenty of technical challanges, interlectual property rights between third-partys challanges and other networking challanges here. But, hey. It is a wishlist.
  7. I have requested this before. I want this feature. Not knowing ANYTHING of the coding involved. I would hope to be able to draw a zone and say turn off city lights in zone. That would be nice for WW2 and for modern. Say you have a mission to strike a transformer. And when the bomb hits you trigger a power outage ine the0 zone(s). Boom, then black. Would be nice.
  8. I want a checkbox to disable the ability to use autostart of aircrafts (left win + home). The checkbox would be where the BDM, civilian traffic, labels, wake turbalance etc are today in the mission editor. Today most people just autostart cold jets. Might aswell have them all hot. Time waiting is the only real differance between the two options. So, I would like to disable the autostart function.
  9. Hi. Is there a way to get a SAM system to lock it's fire control radar to you and NOT fire? I have tried setting state RED and weapons hold on ROE. This does not lock me. I have set the intercept range to 10%, and that does not solve this for me. Is there a way?
  10. The Tomcat has a yet uncatered for coordinate format. Taking a coordinate from the F-10 map leaves you calculating what a six digit lat/long would be for a 5 digit Tomcat format. I know they are close. But still the last digit is not accurate just by removing it and ignoring it. What the Tomcat F-14 needs: N37"57'8 W115"23'9 What is displayed currently as closest approximation: N37"57'48 W115"23'52 These two coordinates represent the same point as far as the editor and the sim goes. Can we please have an L_ALT + Y option for the Tomcat format please?
  11. I would like the texture of the carriers to be artificially altered to show the zones where things can be placed without conflict. I do not mind a carrierdeck to gave green and red zones or what ever the colour on the top down view. Only in the editor mind you. Would make decking out and placing units way more easy.
  12. Would be a good idea to be able to select what catapults are active. If disabled there will be no ground crew standing there and AI aircraft will not try to hook up to them. Planes and other gear can then be on display on the bow by CAT 1 and 2 without AI ever attempting to launch from there.
  13. Hi, could we please have the option in the special menu to select factory new cockpit look? Some like the aircraft worn and some like it new and fresh, and readable. I know, I know, it is beautifully made, and much work went into it to make it look good. and job WELL DONE! However, having the option for a factory new look with all labels readable would go a long way for me. And yes, there are modded textures etc. I just want it to be a part of the module from you Heatblur. Regards Ducksen
  14. Currently this aircraft has no random faults. I would further like to have the ability to inflict a fault to an F-16C flying without the pilot knowing, in multiplayer for training. Hope to see this in a not so distant future update.
  15. +1 for multiplayer faults! It is needed for training and specific scenarios.
