  1. Confirmed . Me and Kia were crashing at the same time in uh1s flying next to each other doing sling loading Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  2. I think that has a lot to.do with that particular server mate. I haven't been able to even select a role on that server without a hard crash since hornet day +2 Ddcs server on the other hand no worries (in fighters ) Helos crash constantly but that server has slinging in it so that's probably why Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  3. Yes Cpu will be the best improvement from oc. You could get yourself another 10fps depending on the oc. Gpu you might squeeze an extra frame or 2 for overclocking Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  4. I put it to them in the YouTube comments that with additional captosensors to enable tracking the price becomes silly They've indicated an intention to have a special deal for dcs users... still sounds pricey though . Imho breaking the 500$ barrier is a big deal and they're already at that just for the 2 gloves They also mentioned a bracelet in dev that uses vive lighthouses Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  5. None of these things are likely to happen in his first review because they haven't been implemented yet in the internal software from what I understand. They're coming soon though I recommend people go through the comments on their latest YouTube Captoglove made a comment on their latest YouTube that the clickable element will still be as per the laser pointer method in the first version Also the full motion tracking will require an additional captosensor ... this may inflate the price further to a level that is really unacceptable I will be interested to see a user review if and when that becomes available though but based on their responses i don't expect full tracking and clicking for months at least and possibly the price will become prohibitive A more elegant, cheaper , and more accurate positional tracking solution may be through the vive pucks but I wouldn't hold my breath on that as integration into dcs for vive controllers is somewhat lacking to date Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  6. My feeling is that yes the cockpit feels big In comparison to the mirage which feels small . Kind of annoying when u have to consider different ipds for modules in the same game... I *assume * that 3d models are all made to scale but I could be completely wrong. If they are what is the cause ? The chosen camera point for a centered view ? Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  7. Keep in mind that any support is effectively very early beta . There are things that aren't even in their test version yet . E.g. z axis and clicks Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  8. There's never been an issue with vive tracking The screen door effect in the odyssey is the same as the vive pro as they are the same res and screen The only difference visually is the lenses but even looking at the video posted is see little.difference and my experience in the pro is it's not even noticeable when the headset is positioned well so I would say that there's a marginal difference maybe and likely highly subjective. The odyssey is less comfortable and heavier with less tracking capability There's no clear winner and it really depends on what your priorities are To rule out one headset over another isn't really doing other prospective buyers a service . Vive pro is an excellent experience with some clear advantages over other but u do have to pay for that People should make their choice based on ( in no particular order) Cost Comfort Tracking Openvr support / interoperability Visual quality ( and here I would not differentiate between odyssey and pro but rather rift and vive1 class vs pro and odyssey class vs future gen2 and maybe pimax as an outlier due to the fov difference being quite a unique hmd) Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  9. And as I've already explained to you worm. Lm doesn't work in dcs at all. Capto isn't perfect yet. But they've explained this is beta round 1 basically Current issues I have with it (and I haven't and won't buy until I get feedback confirmation otherwise ) is the accuracy of clicks and the absence of latency LM has no integration with dcs. Does not work natively as a vive controller and even when you make workarounds for these problems (the current workaround crashes vr for me and hasn't been updated in over a year ) The accuracy is poor Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  10. I see potentially a lot of latency in hand movement there Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  11. That's an older vid now They claim to have full integration now Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  12. You could try ovrdrop. Available on steam Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  13. Awesome thanks for being the labrat Let us know how they go! Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  14. We seem to.have 2 discussions going on c.g I posted a copy of an email I got in the other thread Short version They claim to have full 3d absolute movement in the cockpit with a beta due by end of month They didn't show this at e3 however Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks mate for the in depth on what you discussed with their CEO Like you my main interest is in their use for the cockpit not the hotas From all demos so far that hasn't been showcased . They said it was almost in beta as per their email response but without a video example and some real reviews I'm still skeptical and a little confused they didn't show this at e3 ... seems a missed opportunity Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  16. No option to use the glove to click in the cockpit mfds etc ? Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  17. Did you try the dcs demo or just the haptic ? Hanging out for someone review the glove with latest integration Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  18. Sent an email 48hr ago to their support with general query Surprised I actually got a response given e3 is on :: Thank you for your email. We are just showing the first integration provided by a Eagle Dynamics. After E3 we will send the report to E3[sic DCS?] to fix several bugs and by the end of the month we should have a Beta to be delivered. The hands will be able to interact with the cockpit. After E3 we will produce a video to showcase it. Thank you. Kind Regards. Max CaptoGlove Team Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  19. Keyword proper implementation Currently dcs doesn't even support htc vive controllers. Leap motion is therefore not eve functional as a controller and even if it is made functional it's accuracy is too low currently to interact with the cockpit (speaking from experience ) Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  20. So what's the verdict on the actual glove as a controller this year 3d absolute axis ? Accuracy for clickable cockpits ? Turn dials ? Is the haptic a new variant or update to existing models from date x ? Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  21. Champ! Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  22. Good stuff . I note they are attending e3 and they mention dcs integration specifically again Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  23. Took 1 minute to set up in vive . It uses steam vr- openvr so you would need that running and I don't know if rift touch controllers would be recognised. From memory it does . There is a long thread on the xsim forum testing it It's worth it if you feel your head is moving around the cockpit when u manoeuvre the aircraft That will depend on your motion rig setup. How many degrees of motion you are getting. Smaller movements are less noticeable but larger movements can throw your head out of the cockpit. Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  24. For those looking for an answer to proper vr tracking in motion rigs This is what I use on my home built 2dof rig github.com/matzman666/OpenVR-InputEmulator Basically one controller acts as the motion cancellation by mounting it on the headrest of your chair .Any movement the chair makes is subtracted from the headsets movement Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk
  25. any new updates on progress here?
