  1. any updates on this product and integration? are the gloves themselves another set of peripherals or are they being recognised as occulus touch or vive hand controllers? (vive controllers not supported yet at all in dcs afaik?) if they are peripherals that are being used to control what is otherwise a mouse axis movement, are they therefore only '2 dimensional' in their movement of the cursor inside the game? its hard to tell from the above video, in fact it almost looks like the cursor movement is still directly linked to the HMD not the hands imo

I did some testing of auto mode and found that if i designated a target and then turned off to make a separate approach occasionally on making the approach hitting wep release would immediately drop the bomb rather than being locked until release cue Things that may have caused this and unsure if bug or as intended : Making a low approach for a loft resulting in the aircraft being too low and getting associated hud symbology Using the ball and chain. You can still designate a target before the ball and vector combine. Does this have a negative effect ? Changing stations but still same weapon type. I'm still unable to replicate the behaviour 100% and will keep investigating unless someone has a known technique or can point me to something I've done wrong Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

  5. I wonder if it is latency or packet loss related I noticed it on 104th vs an su27 who took 3 missiles I do have a high ping relatively speaking to the server though and this has been a factor in other online games before
  6. Yes you can do what lasso does in task manager with a right Maybe he wants lasso so that is automated on startup though ?
  7. Same story for me 3 fps for about 2 or 3 minutes once the server loads which can take 2 or 3 minutes too
  8. There has been an update hotfix 1 since 2.5 open beta Make sure the server and your clients are on the same version have all been updated ? I found that I had to actually do the update more than once and also did a repair (4 of them in my case) on the game folder via the updater as well
  9. update left it a day and figured id try again this arvo loaded up DCS. i can now see LESS servers than i could yesterday. ~29 empty servers yesterday 11 today wtf? and final edit. i ran the updater yet again (*3rd time) got a 500mb update for some reason. this didnt resolve the MP list though but i then ran a repair (4th time in 2 days) on it after this and now i can see the servers. i have NFI why or what was wrong with it. but for others i guess the 'workaround' is to just repeatedly check updater and repair the build as well.
  10. I found if you jump it onto the actual pads you can rearm Problem is once you do this a vertical takeoff gets.... risky
  11. Yes it's quite safe to say it is ed's problem trouble is theres no acknowledgement of it from what I can see and no one has figured a workaround
  12. interestingly i have the exact opposite. was working on 2.5 open beta. just applied the hotfix now i cant see all the servers in the list anymore... had similar issues in 1.5.8 before 2.5 ob started too have disabled av and fw, ipv6 settings fine. good connection and was working fine yesterday. today no go at all. 29 small unpopulated servers showing up compared to all the main busy servers showing up yesterday
  13. im not really sure what the scaling did? i dont notice any difference between 1.5.8 and 2.5 in terms of size of a target at distance... theyre dots Have you reduced your vis range?I've left mine on high. as long as theres a dot...like maybe 2-3 pixels i can see it clearly and know what it is (a bogey or missile) ID'ing something aint gonna happen but i can orient and figure out what im seeing based on RWR and friendly reports etc.

  15. Don't the aa settings work in game ? I mean they murder frames but they work Right? If you want to use them it becomes a question of does your hardware allow it... Personally I'm hanging out for vive pro and the next gen nvidia releases Have you tried supersampling and pixel density settings?

  17. shiver your specs are getting on the low side... Marsy your specs are similar to mine and i can run at 45 or above with the right settings you guys need to list or post your in game settings. i suggest something along the lines of : medium textures for aircraft and ground trees @ 80% clutter @ 200 or even less distance med/high mSAA off depth of field off deferred shading on Heat blur off. Water medium civ traffic off (fwiw) AA/AF off shadows to flat Supersample @ 1.6 - 1.8 in steam or PD to a similar value in game but not both.

  20. yeah 980ti is definitely enough for a good outcome now that the latest patches have come out for DCS and also beta for the VIVE I use 1.4 pixel density and everything else is on high settings with shadows off completely and fairly short range on grass/trees etc.
  21. issue resolved. was due to a parrallel install and mismatched versions
  22. voice attack is a pretty useful 3rd party application. You can make all your comms menus voice controlled. you can add less often used cockpit commands to voice command to free up hotas and skip the keyboard entirely. Swivelling office chair. If you came from TrackIR, get ready for some neck stretching as you twist around fully to see behind yourself. Swivel Chair helps by allowing you to rotate your body a bit more freely as well. Also I find some lens/screen cleaner and glasses cloth to be essential nearby products :)
  23. ok having trawled the main Vive thread people reporting it works. although it was never mentioned in the changelogs lol will have to play with it some more tonite to check but so far not working with my initial keybind attempts (restart included)
  24. unless something has changed in the last month , VR Zoom doesnt work with HTC VIVE. only Occulus edit; you are reporting it works... please describe how you did it because mine still doesnt and it was known as not compatible a month ago
  25. what was your solution for the 3dmigoto mod? or are you still working on it
