Since I got my F-4E, I could not do the tutorial. The mouse would not move any switches but would work the crew chief wheel. Found the problem. When the comm wheel for Jester and Chief is up, there are 2 cursors for the mouse. A dot on the wheel, and a plus on the switches. I noticed when I would move the + around, it also moved the dot on the wheel. It was the dot that had the control and would pick the wheel selection that it would be on. DId n't matter what the + was on. I could not move the dot down to the switch area. Once I got rid of the wheel, the + would work on the switches. If there was either a + or a Dot, it would work fine, putting the "attention" on which one was there. With the wheel being up, I could not go any farther with the tutorial. I will try the tutorial removing the wheel when I am suppose to flip a switch. dcs.log

I have the F-4E. I play it in VR with an Oculus 3. When I try to use the F-4, I can't move any switches in VR mode. If I go to flat screen mode, I can move the switches. I can use the crew chief wheel in VR but that is the only thing besides the space bar that I can click on and have it work. It works fine in my other airplanes, just not the F-4E Please let me know what I need to do to get it to work. I'm disappointed that I can't get it to work. The F-4 was my first choice out of USAF pilot training in 1972. I didn't get it when they withdrew one of our 2 F-4s. My email is bettascott@hotmail.com

Yes. I have the A10 Warthog. Every one of my aircraft when I try to fly them spawn with the gear in the wrong position. Even the F-4E tutorial is spawned with the gear up, as it is suppose to be down. Before the latest update, the gear was spawning in the correct position. Attached is road kill. Not a great mission but all my mission spawn, since the last update, with the gear in the wrong position. Down when it should be up and up when it should be down. A-10 C II Road kill.miz

It is doing it again. I have made some missions with the A-10CII and F-16 that start airborne over a point. Each time I run the mission the airplane spawns with the gear down.

I tried to set up subs in Murmansk. When I tried to place them at the docks, it told me it was too shallow. I had to move them out into the middle of the Channel to place it. I tried to make it 2 subs and it told me I couldn't place a boat on land, even though the subs were in the middle of the harbor. I tried a few times and then it put it out in front of my sub instead of behind.

I findi I have a problem flying VR and using the mouse to activate the AI menu for the F-14, F-15, AH-64, Petrovitch. It would be nice if I could speak to the AI and select the menu options, it would make flying solo much easier.

I finally updated to Windows 11. When I try to run DCS, the program loads and gets to the picture of all the airplanes. When the picture disappears, nothing happens. It's like it just stopped. Any one have a fix for this? I run both the "Good" DCS and Open Beta. I uninstalled OpenBeta and reinstalled it. Now Openbeta will keep asking me if I want to copy all mods from the normal version but stops after copying.

With all the heated up situation in the middle east, It would be nice to have a map to recreate and make up new missions into those areas.

With all the era jets we have, a south east asia map would be great!!!!

Has anyone else found this to happen in Open Beta? When I start a mission airborne and adjust the throttles, they advance correctly but then after about 5 minutes, they retard back about 15%. I'll push them back up to 95% and with all the instruments looking normal, they will retard again after about 2 minutes. I push them back up. This keeps going on. I tried the same mission on the normal server and it did not happen.

Buying Warning is a glitch. If you own the original Normandy , when you buy Normandy 2 you get a warning message that you already own the License. When you look at the ad for buying it, under it, it will say you already have a license for this product. This is a glitch in the ED software, according to Ed, It doesn't check anything in the title past Normandy. If you haven't bought it yet and want to buy it, Go ahead.

It ends up that the reason is formations. with a 4 ship, you have the 2nd digit as 1-4 so a single ship can't be 5 as in Colt 45. Back in the 70s, we did things a little differently than they do now. My call sign was my position in the Squadron (45 th pilot) and our Squadron call sign was Colt. At the time we were rather unique. Most ATC Bases didn't have their own call sign. When I was in SAC, they didn't have their own call sign.

Not very good wing man to do that. I flew T-38s in the USAF German Pilot Training and we flew a lot of formation both 2 ship and 4 ship and you never use AB to get back into position. The speeds I'm using are 430 to 500 kts thru out the whole flight.

Lately, I've put a wing man out there for grins. About 1/2 way thru the mission, he is calling Bingo fuel even though my fuel is about above 1/2. I don't go bingo for another 2 to 3 targets and way points. He has the same ordinance I have and same fuel, so why is he calling Bingo so much earlier than my plane does. Some times I can't get to my first target without crying Bingo. What a wimp.

I went to Razbam's website today and saw they have a lot of airplanes on there. It didn't say what they were compatible with. Does anyone know if they can be used with DCS as a Mod? I would love to have their F-9 as my uncle flew that after WW2. I would also like the A-1. That was an airplane I wanted to get out of USAF Pilot Training back in 1971 but assignments said we had they weren't giving out assignments as we were getting out of the War. Course it took about 5 more years to do that. LOL
