  1. Right on! I get the impression we´re a Minority tho ...
  2. No Squad, just 3 guys doing some serious flying. Check your PM please.
  3. Thanks much!
  4. As the title says I´m looking for 2 highly dedicated, motivated and creative Harrier Pilots available at least once a week between Tuesday to Friday during daytime GMT. I´m aiming for a start time anywhere between 08.00 and 14.00 GMT. Other than the Harrier you must have the Normandy Map, Combined Arms and some Free Mods installed. We´ll be flying custom made missions, tailored to the current development level of the Harrier and closely resembling real life Training and Combat Missions. We´ll also have human ATC, JTAC and OPFOR active whenever possible and there are plenty of goals to achieve other than just "blowing stuff up". What I´m not looking for: - A Squad - Kamikaze Pilots - Those who rather bitch and moan about missing/ not working stuff than think solutions and make the best use of what is available. So, if that sounds like fun to you, reply here or send me a PM and we´ll arrange a chat.
  5. My 0.02$ Not something I would have asked for as I think what we got on Information was sufficent already, but now that´s here you may as well keep it up! - Nice, short Intro - Representation is easy to listen to, easy to understand and had some great phrasing choices. - The Interview I wish would have been trimmed somewhat with shorter, pre-recorded answers - The Questions - I really don´t care who is asking them - Overall lenght, too long in my opinion. 10 to max 15 Mins would be my sweet spot As for next episode wishes - whatever you are willing to share about the F-15E.
  6. Dropping GBU´s I never pitch down, just slave the TGP down. As for your problem: - get enough altitude, 18000+ - get enough distance, start with 20nm and with practice shorten it to whatever you feel comfortable with - use the AP to aid you - make only small corrections once lined up - for GBU´s you must not be perfectly centered That should do the trick.

    KC-130

The KC130.lua list a Max Fuel Weight of 20830, whereas Wikipedia says 57000 offload capacity. So chances are high he is just running out of fuel early. If you must not have IC working you may try tinkering with the Max fuel ammount.
  8. Have not tested this mod myself (yet), but here you just have to look to the side to see what wire you caught. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=213325
  9. "11.1.3 Auto Flap Configuration. The FCS control laws create slightly different handling qualities than those of most aircraft. The most apparent characteristic is the excellent hands-off stability. Damping about all axes is high. Static longitudinal stability is neutral since the FCS attempts to keep the aircraft in 1 g, zero pitch rate flight. Longitudinal trim is used to bias (adjust) the reference load factor or pitch rate as the pilot desires. Longitudinal trimming is not required as the aircraft accelerates or decelerates through most of the flight envelope. Once an attitude is set, the aircraft tends to hold that attitude without further stick inputs, even through the transonic speed regime. This characteristic reduces stick forces with changing airspeed, lowering pilot workload for most tasks." IV-11-3 (Page 435 in pdf) I found the Hornet to be stable and no need to trim unless I´m uneven loaded or in Half or Full Flaps Config.
  10. If you don´t wish for such an item to be included, that´s fine. A fair ammount of people here do so however. I take it everyone here is aware that the 476th has included a FCLP box in their latest iteration of Range Targets? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=181232&page=8
  11. Check you bindings. By default a great many axis get assigned to all sort of controllers regardless if it makes sense or not. You may have your throttle sending signals to pitch or roll without knowing.
  12. I found that the Hornet does not need to be trimmed during AAR, the Harrier would be another story. But in the end, do what works best for you. As for pointers on what to look for when lining up - Mavericks tutorial is already linked second page of this thread. Have a look, no better one out there.
  13. Made you a quick training mission where the Tanker isn´t always turning. You will airstart close behind at around 50% fuel. Texaco orbits North/ South between WP 1 and 2 15000 @ 300 GS (236 KIA) TCN 75Y Contact at Preset 1 Hope that helps somewhat. VFA_81_TR_Refuel.miz
  14. You may want to check this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=205231 Plenty of Squads already formed up, so I guess there sure is some interest :) The Sluggers would pair well with us, having just Sparrows and dumb bombs we run the Sara tag as well. Cheers and good luck.
  15. Practice. Really nothing more than this. Do it often enough and it´ll work at one point.
  16. Make a short Takeoff on the road or Refuel in the Air if you really, really need to have 4 Mav´s.
  17. TM WH user here; no Extensions, Deadzones and no Curves works best for me. In the end I think it comes down to practice, practice and even more practice. If you havn´t seen this already, Mavericks Video is hands down the best on how to AAR in the Harrier:
  18. You can! Two times actually. Upon entering you flip the switches back to pre-patch state, then start up as usual. Maybe RAZBAM can come up with "DCS: Crew Chief". Flipping switches all day long, checkin oil levels, wearing different shades.
