  1. All that back and forth aside - does any of the, uhmm, "critics" really, truly think that the constant firing of cheap shots, bitching and whining will create any incentive at RAZBAM to work faster, or even consider to engage more with them?
  2. It gets it´s position by looking at your own position and where the seeker head is pointing to, and a lot of number crunching. Just like in the A-10, F-14 and soon to be in the Hornet. The Laser is there to refine your result, not to make it happen. If you lost all your trust, then maybe you should consider to just let it go? Sometimes it´s better to just move on. Walk away and never look back. Start fresh with another module. With so many modules listed in your SIG you should find one that has your trust and does entertain you, right?
  3. I can not see what the problem is you are refering to? Can you post a short track showcasing the issue? No need to left the TPOD at home, works fine and I use it all the time.
  4. It has been announced and explained and will be resolved asap.
  5. No need to be concerned at all! The Harrier for sure has some issues - just like any other module as well. Development will at times be slow - just like any other module as well. New bugs will show up - just like any other module as well. Things that once worked will break - just like any other module as well. You get the drift. The Harrier is a great module and worth every penny you paid for and I´m sure it will be completed eventually - as much as it can be given the eternal Alpha state of DCS anyway. Naturally the people that are happy with the Harrier don´t post as much here because they are busy enjoying it.
  6. Some of mine: - The Harrier is not a SEAD platform - If the Sidearm had a 50% Pk it would still be in service - Russia is also able to build great Military hardware - Sometimes things break - Sometimes a plan does not work as we like it to - How can a Fly land on the ceiling with her feet up The remainder of my thoughts are unrelated ...
  7. So, what is the Bug/ Problem you like to report here? What you see is the 8nm bug at work you might be better off posting that at the ED section, nothing to do with the Harrier.
  8. Isn´t that great?! Tho not at all surprising; I´m just that good. The ASL line was never working correctly. Still, anyone should be able to fly a straight line at a given heading, that´s just basic airmanship. People ask the Devs to deliver the most accurate and realistic Simulation ever - only to use it in the most inaccurate and unrealistic way possible.
  9. If you are indeed want to learn flying the Harrier in a very realistic manner shoot me a PM. I´m happy to share (and am looking for someone to fly the Harrier with) and to tell what´s Wip, a bug and what´s working alright.
  10. Ah, the often cited Harrier Pilot Quote. I actually looked up the AMA (very interesting - https://old.reddit.com/r/hoggit/comments/8cvu6h/im_a_harrier_pilot_in_the_usmcama/) and not only did he never try the DCS Harrier, he just said it was not an issue (for him). Of course it wasn´t because I´m certain he did trim his plane without even thinking about it. So much so that he even said he doesn´t remember where the Pitch Trim Indicator is located. And some trimming is really all that is needed, no matter what you drop. Me, I´m not a Harrier Pilot but I too would say it´s not an issue - at all. I guess we´ll see alot of sad faces once the F-16 is released. As for the OP. You take your buddy out for a ride because you are "quite good" but you deliberately concentrate on things that: - are (known to be) Work in Progress (ASL Line, Betty) - you lack the skill to perform it (Trimming the Plane, AAR and more) - are perceived unrealistic while in fact they are not (trailing basket) Really?! A friend everyone would like to have. I have no idea what trolling means, but this does sound alot like it :)
  11. Does not play well here. Plane ends in the grass before reaching the runway, sorry.
  12. To make them work you first have to assign a keystroke in the "Keyboard" column, for the IFF this could be *I* or *LCtrl + I* for example.
  13. Me neither. But I do have a radical, never before heard of idea - show us a track recording and maybe we can understand what´s going on there. I wanted to add an Airfield at the PG map. I might have done somthing wrong, so this may or may not work but has nothing to do with your problem anyway. The ILS is where the Tacan is, at least in Senaki. If you dial in the TCN you´ll get the same distance/ heading readout as when dialing in the ILS. One guy from the HB team did already showcase a mobile ILS (or TILS), but for whatever reason choose not to make it available:
  14. It does work. Just made a quick test landing at Senaki (Channel 04). In theory you should be able to add a ILS station by modifiying your AN_ARN128_config file but I´m not sure if that actually works. Tried it once and couldn´t get it to work. It sure would be great if we could have a placeable ILS station, could have a set Freq at Channel 20. Maybe one of the talented modders would like to take care of that.

    AV-8B+

What a surprise. But you know it can be done and if done it´s a hard thing to do? Maybe then point me to a realistic mission made by someone else that you use?
  16. If the past (Viggen) is any indicator then we´ll get it 3-4 months after launch. Better manage your expectations.

Mind sharing one of your realistic missions?
  18. Track file please?! Worked for me just now using CTLD JTAC.
  19. Are you using keys rather than an axis to slew the DMT? By the time you roll in on your target the DMT should be very close to the target already, so "sweetening" is realy only moving the cursor fractions. Try initial contact at 20nm, finetuning 15-12nm. After that there shouldn´t be much sweetening needed and you can concentrate on the delivery.
  20. Welcome to the exciting world of bug reporting/ testing and in the end fixing. Rule number one: Make sure you can reproduce the bug you just found consistently.
  21. Track please?! You are around long enough to know the drill by now. Without everything is guesswork.
  22. Have a look at the FSG (VMAT-203 Flight Syllabus Guide), starting at MECH 13-22.
  23. Flying like an airliner tho is what you are supposed to do while using the TPOD. Going up and down, maybe even some wild manouvering low level, your TPOD hits all kind of stops and at one point may simply quit trying to keep up.
  24. Show us a track please. I usually fly 45° profiles and have good results.
  25. So you made a bug report based on a youtube video you saw?
