  1. "How bizarro is this?" "Bizarro!?!" Made a quick test dropping some into downown Dubai. 3 times 45DB2, 2 hits, 1 shack. So I´d say all is fine on my end. My computer isn´t the newest either but I never ever look at my fps.
  2. I guess the discussion here is more academic in nature anyway. Those of us caring for realism will just load 1 anyway, regardless of what is possible or not. The gamers will be gamers and hang on as much as possible - fine with me tho. And to add to the discussion; NAVAIR 00-110AV8-4, dated Oct. 1986 lists 3 GBU-12 on station 3 & 5 and 2 GBU-12 on 2 & 6 (with reduced load factor).
  3. Yes. Re-enacting a pic I found here: https://michalthim.files.wordpress.com/2015/09/8260511841_51a84c6ade_k.jpg
  4. AV-8B Harriers assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 365 (Rein), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conduct a live fire exercise over the Nevada Test and Training Range, Nov. 15, 2011.
  5. Where does the A-10 gets target altitude from? It has not neither ARBS nor a Radar. The very same as the Harrier or the Hornet, calculated by the MC by means of position, altitude, speed and stored maps. Again it seems you are looking for flaws where there are none, or rather no more or less than in every other module.
  6. Why do you think it should land short? The target elevation displayed in the weapons window is not used for impact calculation. It either reflects the selected waypoints altitude or, in your example, the altitude of the target waypoint that you generated when dropping your first bomb(s). I made a few runs on Tonopah AB and the bombs where all on target.
  7. The track is not playing well for me. Maybe better to record a video?
  8. If you fly a solid pattern you´ll know when your cross goes solid. Then again, those who expect pinpoint accuracy with Mk-8x series of bombs may want to rethink their stance torwards realism, regardless of the delivery mode choosen.
  9. The HUD shows fine here when playing your track. So, no idea what your problem might be, sorry.
  10. Find yourself some friends and have some real JTAC experience. On a more serious note, havn´t used DCS JTAC for ages as I find the CTLD script far more superior and reliable. Maybe give that a go?
  11. Thanks much for that! I have the manuals, just wanted a pointer on where to find the stuff Harlikwin is referring to.
  12. With so many deeply dissapointed people around maybe one of them is willing to do a good deed and gift his license to the OP? He then could finally find his peace and the OP can see if he likes what is offered without going bankrupt in the process. Win - Win I´d say.
  13. I´d like to read up on this. Can you specify the TAC Manual/ Pages?
  14. We usually just make it so that the Wingman asks for Fuel first and once cleared to Pre-contact Lead will swing to the right and Wing to the left Drogue. Once Wing gets the "Cleared contact" Message Lead asks for Refuel and thus will get the right Drogue.
  15. We have 3 timers already. How many more we need? BTW, Stopwatch is working. You need to bind it to some keys though.
  16. I´ll side with the Harrier Pilot quoted earlier and say there really is no issue here. The Roll you get is noticable, but certainly not "huge" and expected. With just a few clicks either left or right you´ll have it compensated and can fly circles all day long without problems. I certainly do hope RAZBAM does not change the current behavior just because a few people "have a feeling".
  17. People have forgotten - or have not been around yet - that, as far as DCS is concerned RAZBAM pretty much invented Constant Consumer Interaction. Both, Zeus as well as Cpt Smiley did post very frequently until at one point they went totally silent. Reading some of the posts here and on Reddit I really can´t blame them and I for one rather have them coding away than posting here. If people are so upset with the progress of a certain module, why not just use a different one for some time? I dare say that 90+ % have more than one to choose from.
  18. "But, but , but - there IS something wrong because I want something to be wrong!" For fun - and because I knew ther result beforehand - I swapped the Harrier with the Hornet. Guess what? Rolled just like the Harrier did. "OMG! The bogus FM of the Harrier has tainted the pure code of the Hornet!" I´m excited to hear how you explain the Harrier being at fault in that case. Then again, I don´t care. People believe what they want to believe and it´s far more easy to chant Alternate Facts with the crowd than to look beyond the seemingly obvious. What´s "proved" in the thread you linked is that a great many do not know how to handle asymetric loads and ofc alot of hearsay and feelings, that´s all there is.
  19. Funny how everyone is eager to point out flaws in the FM without further investigation. It isn´t the FM though. It´s actually not the AIM-9M either as suggested by Captain Orso but the CAP-9M that makes the plane roll away from it. If you load a 9M on the left side and a CAP-9 on the right side the plane starts rolling to the left. Weight difference here is 2lbs, so my guess would be a drag issue rather than a weight issue. I would think that the drag should be pretty much the same for both variants and I also think that RAZBAM uses the model(s) ED provides. Thus this would be more likely something ED has to look into, right?
  20. Ok, did the same as you and again no roll at all. Attach a trk file please.
