thx Home Fries. but even with no target script running, just using the keyboard and checking with event tester of TARGET, i get this strange behaviour....

see attached screen shot. i switched the language of W7 (see lower right side) to EN. event test then shows correct key presses RALT followed by RCTRL.... i currently do not know what problems this might have to other parts of my script as keyboard layout then changes dramatically. unfortunately using the target keyboard layout command seems to be of no help. thx flex

attached is what my W7 onscreen-keyboard shows: seems that RCTRL and LCTRL will be pressed simultaniously... Target can seperate LCTRL and RCTRL if pressed separatly. but RALT and RCTRL will produce a LCTRL instead of a RCTRL.. thx flex

I am running w7-64 Ultimate. Keyboard is a logitech G15. @d.burnette: i will give it a try to use event tester without running a script. Not sure if this is possible @cichlidfan: any idea how to track that down? Maybe using any editor which can make R_Ctl and similar key presses visibly? To be honest i am lost . . . Thx flex

same problem with keyboard use new test setup. WH is completely connected but i used my keyboard only. i pressed these keys in that order on my keyboard: 1. "R_ALT" 2. "R_CTL" 3. "R_CTL" output on event_tester is 1."R_ALT" 2."L_CTL" :huh: 3."R_CTL" see attached screenshot..... WTF is going on here....:cry: thx flex p.s. i've tried ENG and GER keyboard in the script... same result

you mean only in front of R_CTL? like: PULSE+(R_CTL)+R_ALT+'j' ? thx flex

thanks for your quick feedback. sorry for my delay.. just had a chance today to recheck. see attached i changed the parens but same result. first part in the event tester is the 'O' state the 2nd the 'I' state thx flex

Hi guys, i intensivly searched the forum but could not find an answer...:cry: so problem is that in an very simple script i get a additional LCTL in the event-tester although this key is NOT programmed /used at all in that script. I tried different switches on my WH with same result. see details in attached jpg. it is strange... i initially found that error when i tested morhines profile and strange things happend in BS2. i tracked that down to above/attached issue. any hint is most welcome as i am totally lost :helpsmilie: thx flex

Hi there, I own BS1 and BS2 upgrade. all works perfectly fine. But I now bought BS2 (summer sale) to minimize trouble in case I re-build my PC. in case i would like to switch to my new BS2 right now what would be the best procedure to do - uninstall current install (BS1+BS2 upgrade) and then install new BS2 version or - parallel install; how will this look in the launcher? two BS2 start logos to start from? your feedback is very much welcome! cheers fleX

Hi all, i am not a native speaker, so i hope to have the correct words at my fingertips... the mood in this thread goes into the wrong direction! when i bought quite some time ago the beta of DCS, i understood that beta customer would receive for free "a" nevada map for use with the full final version. to be honest this was NOT the main reason for buying DCS-A10 and i have been having and still have a lot of fun all the time (even without the nevada map). BUT in my current version i do NO have access to a nevada map. if Wags explains to me that i have to pay for nevada+EDGE some ??$ as this addon due needed a reasonable investment in the EDGE part i will be fine with that. but my expectation still is to get some kind of "gift" from ED as Nevada map was anounced as part of the final DCS-A10 version for the beta customer. this is at least how i remember the situation. unfortunately i cannot find any posts from that in the forum. please don´t get me wrong i love this simulation with and without nevada map. but the communication to the customer could have been better for this specific part of the simulation. just my 50cent.... keep flying desmo p.s. running an old version of the beta i can NOT find any nevada mao....

hey guys, i have in mind that there were lot of problems with LOCKON and FC to get the setup right for Windows x64 due to starforce copy protection. do we have to deal with these problems again? that would be very disapointing..... have fun.. take care desmo

i always had a bit trouble with my german W7-home64 and VAC. phrases have been regognized sometimes but sometimes not... I changed now to W7-Ultimate64. with englisch language speech pack it works perfectly. no problems for VAC anymore to "understand" me! great piece of software!! have fun.. take care desmo

@icemaker: the CDU screen seems to be from the MFD section. is there a way to get readout from the CDU from the right hand panel (NOT MFD)? btw great tool!! thx for that! cheers flex

hi guys, need your help. as described in this thread i setup S4 (paddle) as modifier. i the then wanted to use mic up on throttle to zoom in slow. controller in options shows the right details but it does not work. using LWIN as e.g. modifier works perfectly. any ideas? thx much for your feedback flex solved: i did the setup of the S4 as modifier in the right part of the modifier dialog. i should have done that in the left hand screen - modifier. dumb.... :doh: but anyway... problem is finally solved...

Hi Cibit, thx for your information. will give it a try later this weekend. but my asumption would have been that with saving a mission with different loadout to a different filename would lead to a changed DSMS information when i start (!) this mission. i do not want to re-arm. i do have the problems right at the beginning of that (changed) mission. thx desmo
