  1. In the downloads section of the site there is a new video: Leading Edge Training.wmv. This explains the "why" of start up procedures. Attached to this message is the checklist used. Below is a message from the creator:- "Ladies and gentlemen, My name is Fabio Miguez, and in January 2009 I started to develop a video training series for DCS: Black Shark. Some events in my life have not allowed me to continue this series yet, but I have full expectations of doing so in the future. While discussing this with the great guys at Eagle Dynamics, they asked me if I could post this sample lesson on their website to make it available for free to the community, and I agreed. The idea for this series is that it would cost around $50, and it would include probably two or three DVDs with video lessons of just about everything related to flying the Black Shark in varied combat missions. It would also come with a printed checklist (a partial version of which is made available with this video) and an Instrument Panel Poster. As I mentioned above, I have not had the time to complete this series, but am looking for feedback on this sample lesson, which is a full startup, and feedback on if anyone would actually be interested in such a product. Please keep in mind that the quality of this video (both the video itself and the audio) is lower than the final product, due to compression to minimize file size. The final, DVD-quality product, would be available in both standard and high definition formats. You can contact me at fabiomiguez@gmail.com if you wish. Thank you for your time!" 3. Thanks for alerting us to this shipping problem. The manuals are shrink wrapped and we thought that this would be adequate in a jiffy bag. We will take action. If anyone needs a replacement please pm me.

  10. Sorry, missed these posts from Australia. The printed manual will be available in the next few weeks in Australia from http://www.mindscape.net.au/
  11. You have to buy both LockOn and Flaming Cliffs if you want to also fly the Su25T. There is a patch to make it Vista compatible: http://lockon.co.uk/index.php?end_pos=135&scr=products&lang=en
  12. The manuals from TFC will ship out on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday in the UK).
  13. Yes - call into No2 Hanger and ask for Bev. Best to pay by cash on the spot.
  14. Sorry, you can not take off and land anywhere. The key factor is the slope of the ground, which is difficult to judge from the cockpit view. You must eyeball your landing spot and satisfy yourself that is flat (+/- 5%).
  15. Both Lock On and Flaming Cliffs available here:- http://fighter-collection.com/pages/tfc/flight%20simulation/index.php [Note: Flaming Cliffs is currently out of stock, and is being re-manufactured. It should be in stock within 2 weeks].
  16. Submarines are just targets to be destroyed.
  17. If you would like to buy directly from us then go to http://fighter-collection.com/pages/tfc/flight%20simulation/index.php However, shipping costs are very high to outside of Europe! I agree with you that the value of the software is much greater than $39.99. However retail stores will not accept a PC "GAME" at higher price points - we know, we tried! We need to be in retail stores to attract new customers to our hobby/passion.
  18. Amazon have been informed that stock is available and we are awaiting their purchase order.
  19. The incorrect French version has been withdrawn. MicrApps and FNAC will have the correct version.
  20. The French version is available from http://www.microapp.com/meilleur_prix_131_jeux_jeux_pc.html Also should be in FNAC soon
  21. LCTRL+Z speed up LCTRL+SHIFT to get back to normal speed.
  22. For UK, read also Europe. For German, French and Spanish versions, we are waiting to see sales of the English version before making a decision. These books are very expensive to print in small numbers.
  23. It depends on which part of the world you are in. UK will be first, probably this week, followed by USA then Australia.
  24. There is a height-velocity diagram (page 4-13) showing the dead-man's curve and the critical altitude-velocity zone (13-5 and 6)
  25. I have just received the Flight Manual manual from the printer, and attached is a picture of it. The manual weighs 0.82 kgs and is 512 pages (+cover etc). It is now being air-shipped to distribution centres in Europe, USA and Australia. I expect it to be into retail (Amazon, Simware, http://www.fighter-collection.com etc) within 2 weeks. The official title name is "Ka-50 Black Shark Attack Helicopter"
