I tested the A-10C and your right, it would be very difficult to catch up to the instructor. I've made some changes to make it possible to catch up and maintain formation with him. Just keep in mind that you only need to be at 4000 feet departing FLEX, after that, your looking to climb to FL180. Unfortunately, DCS AI do not climb or descend in a steady\predictable way so flying formation during the initial climb out is challenging. Once the instructor levels out, you've got an opportunity for some quality flying. Theirs an updated Instructor .miz on GitHub.

In this video, Garf and I explore some of the exciting updates coming soon to AI_ATC. Tower Sequencing: AI_ATC will now intelligently sequence aircraft in the overhead pattern, bringing even more immersion to DCS world. I would like to request the external draw argument values of TPODS be added to the lua scripting engine. Scenario: Mission designer wants to know the coordinate where the sensor is looking. It is possible to do this if the targeting sensor has external draw argument values. (For example the TADS on the Apache has draw argument values) However for Fixed wing aircraft, the Targeting sensor is often a Store and does not provide draw argument values. (ie. Lightening or Sniper pod) The exception to this is the F-14. Heatblur provided the Draw argument values for the LANTIRN POD. I would like to request this be done for all the targeting pods on all aircraft. Here is a short video of the draw argument values being used with the lua scripting engine.

I Get this error message when trying to load a .trk (its a very large file, flown in VR single player with mission scripts running) No mods installed. Just wondering if anyone's seen this before? I tried saving the track for this mission 4 times without success. null

AI_ATC was not set up to do that. It is possible to set it up that way, but would require ALL users to make changes to their DCS install.

Yes it is possible to inadvertently select incorrect commands when tuned into the wrong frequency. Previous versions of AI_ATC required you to be on the correct frequency in order to execute commands. Unfortunately this feature is not compatible with multiplayer. if you select a command when on the incorrect frequency, you can use the “Repeat last transmission” command the controller will repeat their last instruction.

Yes, other departure and approach procedures are planned, Including the A-10 VFR departures.
