Bailey's VoiceAttack Profiles (Added OH-58D Kiowa!)
Bailey replied to Bailey's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Yes, it is entirely possible! It can be done a few different ways. I guess the easiest will be to do it for ya, haha. PM me your profile (assuming it is modified) and I can take care of that for you. The second way is to go into the profile commands (which I understand you are having issue with), Edit the command, and untick the first checkbox. That will disable the speech recognition for the command. The third way is by simply selecting the command and pressing the delete key. -
A workaround for now could be that you could use a modifier. One layer for Flying stuff. Another layer for Hover stuff. It would be nice to have the option for something like George in addition to what we have now.

OH-58D Kiowa Operation Dixmude Campaign (Released!)
Bailey replied to Bailey's topic in DCS: OH-58 Kiowa
Chapter 1, mission 01-07, released. See first post. -
Uploaded. Remember, this is WIP and only serves to give you an idea of what a profile could look like in its early stages. Don't mind the AI directional pics . Just a heads up, there are a lot of hotkey commands. You will have to deconflict on your own, or wait for my VoiceAttack profile to release Profile: https://github.com/asherao/DCS-ExportScripts/blob/master/docu/StreamDeck Examples/OH-58D Kiowa by Bailey WIP.streamDeckProfile Pics:

OH-58D Kiowa Operation Dixmude Campaign (Released!)
Bailey replied to Bailey's topic in DCS: OH-58 Kiowa
Great minds think alike! Can you work on converting missions 5, 7, 9, and 11? I'll stick to the even numbers. my general workflow looks like this: Read the brief open the mission in the ME replace the gaz with kiowa. Player gets guns and APKWS. AI gets M17 and guns. Fuel at 60% for all change the weather to the first preset, or a different one if the brief called for it Fly the mission. During the mission i take notes on what needs to change. maybe someone said "gazelle" or waypoint 8 is now waypoint 9, etc Make changes to the mission That's pretty much it. Most missions have survived the test of time with very minor changes. At the end I'll compile all the radio freqs and go back and edit all the player presets, so remember to take notes on that. Let me know if that sounds ok to you. -
OH-58D Kiowa Operation Dixmude Campaign (Released!)

I have added a link to the progress chart. It is in the first post. -
Operation Dixmude was first introduced to DCS via the Gazelle. It remains one of the best default campaigns in DCS to date. I intend to recreate the magic with the OH-58D Kiowa Operation Argonne Campaign. If you have played through the original campaign, you know why! The Kiowa working side by side with the Apache is a dream come true! There is even some L2MUMS action! The conversion is complete! Get it here! https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3338637/ While you are at it, feel free to try out my UN Pilot Hind Conversion. Another fantastic DCS campaign, originally made for the Huey! https://forum.dcs.world/topic/276057-un-pilot-mi-24p-hind-campaign-huey-campaign-conversion

I like the functionality of the ones I tend to make. Need a button? Look it up and slap it on. Need a switch? Look it up and slap it on, too. My major apprehension is that I like the profile to also look nice too. There are some very useful and beautiful pieces of art in some of these stream deck profiles. I guess I have been spoiled in that regard, haha. If someone can team up an make some great art, I'd gladly add the code necessary for them to come to life in a profile. Or vice versa. If someone offers their time to make the art, I'd gladly make a profile beforehand.

It's clickable. It's just glitched a bit. You can also bind the radio select dial if you prefer, mentioned in the communications tutorial.

Bailey's VoiceAttack Profiles (Added OH-58D Kiowa!)
Bailey replied to Bailey's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I am working on an OH-58D Voice Attack profile. -
Added OH-58D Kiowa lua: https://github.com/asherao/DCS-ExportScripts/blob/master/Scripts/DCS-ExportScript/ExportsModules/OH58D.lua Added: - Radio repeater, channel, and selector (can change arrow type with line 489 in the lua). I recommend binding each of the 4 radio buttons to the radio select in the Kiowa. Use another two SD Tiles for channel up and channel down. WIP: - Parameter window and readouts - Flare and Chaff readouts

That mission is working for me. I took off and executed an ILS approach to landing. 1. Turn on your NAV volume so you know if the aircraft actually lost the signal. 2. Ensure the correct freq for the navaid is in. In this case 110.30. (Hear the beeps) 2a. TURN ON THE FLIGHT DIRECTOR!!! It is off by default (for some reason, idk. I typically forget this step and realize it when I don't get steering). 3. Typically I don't use ILS/LOC for takeoffs. The use of the ADI steering bars is a legit use for low visibility takeoffs, but I would not recommend it. Use the heading bug. (This can also be a good time to dial in your ILS course, which is 120 here.) 4. After takeoff maneuver for a ILS landing for RWY13. I like to turn north and then hang a long left coming inbound. 5. Make sure you have the magnetic course of the runway in the HSI course window. The HSI deviation bar will handle itself, but the HSI course window commands the ADI steering bars. 6. Fly TO the ILS/LOC and you will be able to intercept the ILS with the ADI steering bars. 7. Follow the ILS down. If you are still having issues, feel free to post a full length video (or track, I guess) and we can check it out.

updated F4: https://github.com/asherao/DCS-ExportScripts/blob/master/Scripts/DCS-ExportScript/ExportsModules/F-4E-45MC.lua PILOT_HSI_BAR_POINTER = 10064, PILOT_FUEL_READOUT = 10069, PILOT_HDG_CRS = 10070, PILOT_HSI_COMPASS = 10071, PILOT_HSI_POINTER = 10072, This is looking odd to me. I didn't add it. Is anyone else seeing oddness?

I wouldn't expect the ADI steering bars (what I assume you say are the FD bars) to stay visible after takeoff. You are going in the opposite direction... Batumi ILS approach works well for me. You have a miz to post?
