Hmmm it´s Early Acces and just released - so beter get some of the issues fixed orderly, than rushed fixes that add new issues. I can wait...
-
LOL - good night - I will try that.
-
The arming switch only has these settings: Nose-Tail / Off / Tail I used Nose-Tail. There is no Nose "only" settings.
-
Despite having set the arming switch to Nos & Tail, the Bat bomb will not explode. I hits the target and nothing happens. Not sure if it´s a bug or error 40.

How about progress on the AFCS modes ?
-
I have pre-purcased the Mig-29A, not that I´m totally happy with pre-purcase, EA and that, but this is just the way it seems works with ED if You want faster acces to DCS modules. I just hope we don´t have to wait too long, and that the initial EA will have enough features to be fun.
-
Allthough this map, as so many other modules for DCS, is EA, it feels much more finished than the latest maps released. Is it perfect ? -- Hell no". - there is still a way to go. But finally we got a map that feels closer to be finished in the phase-1 area (center of the map), than what we have seen so far. I have no doubt that this map will be my "Go to" map in DCS after mostly having used the Caucasus map, despite the heavier load on my system. Also this map actually supports most of the Aircraft and Helo modules available, cause most has served in this region. Also upcomming Aircraft addons will find a realistic home here. I have slowly got tired of all the latest Desert maps, and also been kind of disappointed of the Kola map. This map will surely make me spend more time in DCS, setting up realistic or even "What if", but still relevant missions. Allthough the inner German border visuals will destract the immersion a bit, this map can also be used as a better scene for the WW2 Aircraft. I know that alot on this map doesn´t resemble the area as it was in WW", but it is still better to fly, let's say FW-190's, Mosquito's and P-51D's over this map, than using Caucasus. I think Ed should be very pleased with Ugra-Media to bring this awsome map, cause it could re-ignite users that has got a bit tired of the last years negative posture towards DCS (Probably not necessayr to mention, but still to name a few... Boring Deserts maps, un-finished modules and not to forget the ED/Razbam despute). Only one plea (from a Danish flightsimmer) - look here for my greatest wish: Just my humble reiew of this great map.

Has the patch been released yet - still on 9408

With 2 x F-4E on an attack mission against 2x6 enemy vehicles on the Germany CW Map during daylight, flying over Frankfurt and near Fulda, I get 65-80 FPS. I also have a profile for using DLSS Quality, but with the same settings as below, which further increases FPS at the cost of sharpness. For more consistent FPS I select "Force 45FPS ASW:Off" by pressing Crtl+NumPad 2 For even smoother FPS I select "Force 45FPS ASW:On" by pressing Crtl+NumPad 3, though I sometimes get some artifacts, but ghosting is almost 100% gone looking to the sides. Maybe my settings for the Quest 3 will help (Only those I have changed, or those that have an impact are mentioned): System: i7-10700K 64GB RAM RTX 4070 12GB C : 1x1TB M.2. Running in VR on a Quest 3 via link cable on a 12 GB RTX4070 with no issues.
-
I absolutely agree.. I have flown over Berlin in the F-4E, UH-1, MI-8 and considering the detail, performance is quite good on my ststem with the Quest 3. The detail, quality and size of this map looks really promising - even for this early acces version, there is possibilies for alot of cool missions.

Also Eggebek near Flensburg was home for the German Marineflieger F-104G's who both conducted recon missions and Naval strike with AS30 and AS34 Kormoran anti ship missiles, defending the Baltic approaches. Raising up in Sonderburg, southern Jutland, they aften flew at low altitude over my home, even so low that I could see the pilots. My grandparents btw, lived in Skrydstrup, so on holdays I saw alot of F-100's and later F-16's (I guess that all has triggered my interest and hobby)
-
It´s a false positive. Heatblur has told on their Discord channel that this might happen for some. You can make an exception in Defender for tat file, or better for the entire DCS install folder.

Patch is now live

Hmm no download yet. has the Patch been released ?

I agree about Esbjerg, but didn't want to "demand" more than appropriate. Also just north of Esbjerg (at my horizontal blue line) one of north Europes largest military excercise areas "Oksboel" is placed, where the Danish Airforce conduct bomb training and the army trains with Tanks and Artillery.
-
I can see that Phase 3 get´s very close to, but does not cover the Area where one of Denmarks primary cold war Airbases are placed (also primary today). EKSP (Skrydstrup) is today the only fighter base remaining in Denmark, holding all F-16's and F-35's. During the cold war F-100 where also based there (OBS !! Grinelly F-100 :)). So please move the northern part of phase 3 a tad further north. This would also add Leck AB and Roemoe Island to the weast of Skrydsrup, where Danish F-100 used to conduct bombing excersises.

Cause there is no "un-zoomed" view.

Mossie tends to turn right when taking off.
fjacobsen replied to AJaromir's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hold the brakes, then throttle up. Steer with a combination of tapping the brake with rudder input and diferential power (holding the Throttle levers with one hand and then slightly "twist" the throttles left/right). It´s easy to overcompensate - so delicate inputs are required. -
DCS: Mosquito FB VI by Eagle Dynamics The radiomenu command “Bomb after me” doesn´t seem to work. It was added short time ago: DCS: Mosquito FB VI by Eagle Dynamics Added. The radiomenu command “Bomb after me” forces the player's AI wingman to drop bombs right after the player. In a test mission with e and an AI Mosquito I first commanded "Formation: Trail" and then when the Wingman was in place behind me, I ssued the command "Bomb afta Me". But allthough he open the bomb bay, he does not drop the bombs. We use same loadout.

With the latest update it seems they have divided the textures into two: Cockpit_Cargo_CH-47F_Textures.zip Cockpit_CH-47F_Textures.zip
-
One easy (partly) fix would be to simply give us the option to use 2K textures. Especially for VR it wouldn´t decrease quality in any noticable way. It´s really a shame for an otherwise fun Helicopter.
