  1. Hmm no download yet. has the Patch been released ?
  2. I agree about Esbjerg, but didn't want to "demand" more than appropriate. Also just north of Esbjerg (at my horizontal blue line) one of north Europes largest military excercise areas "Oksboel" is placed, where the Danish Airforce conduct bomb training and the army trains with Tanks and Artillery.
  3. I can see that Phase 3 get´s very close to, but does not cover the Area where one of Denmarks primary cold war Airbases are placed (also primary today). EKSP (Skrydstrup) is today the only fighter base remaining in Denmark, holding all F-16's and F-35's. During the cold war F-100 where also based there (OBS !! Grinelly F-100 :)). So please move the northern part of phase 3 a tad further north. This would also add Leck AB and Roemoe Island to the weast of Skrydsrup, where Danish F-100 used to conduct bombing excersises.
  4. Cause there is no "un-zoomed" view.
  5. Hold the brakes, then throttle up. Steer with a combination of tapping the brake with rudder input and diferential power (holding the Throttle levers with one hand and then slightly "twist" the throttles left/right). It´s easy to overcompensate - so delicate inputs are required.
  6. DCS: Mosquito FB VI by Eagle Dynamics The radiomenu command “Bomb after me” doesn´t seem to work. It was added short time ago: DCS: Mosquito FB VI by Eagle Dynamics Added. The radiomenu command “Bomb after me” forces the player's AI wingman to drop bombs right after the player. In a test mission with e and an AI Mosquito I first commanded "Formation: Trail" and then when the Wingman was in place behind me, I ssued the command "Bomb afta Me". But allthough he open the bomb bay, he does not drop the bombs. We use same loadout.

  7. With the latest update it seems they have divided the textures into two: Cockpit_Cargo_CH-47F_Textures.zip Cockpit_CH-47F_Textures.zip
  8. One easy (partly) fix would be to simply give us the option to use 2K textures. Especially for VR it wouldn´t decrease quality in any noticable way. It´s really a shame for an otherwise fun Helicopter.
  9. Maybe placebo, but has the new fog also enhanced the clouds ? -Note I have only tested in VR.
  10. Most of the points have been talked about for years, and many of them have sounded as if we where close for them to be implementet. At least these bullet points has been talked about for serveral years, but still the answers are... Air Traffic Control -> ATC is something for the future. Vulkan Implementation -> Vulkan is in progress, no ETA to share yet. Dynamic Campaign Engine -> Dynamic campaign is a huge task. (probably meaning that we should not expect something the next comming year(s)). Data Transfer Cartridge -> DTC is in progress for the core of DCS, I hope we can share news soon. (I guess most want to hear news about this). I think many DCS players has come to a point where they rather want to see products being finished. Some moudules has now been in EA for 3-7 Years. On top of this core bugs and issues that has been out for a very long time seems more or less unattended (at least from a customers point of view) It is not because I find DCS to be bad, otherwise I would not spend so much time with it, but the backlog of unfinished items seems to be growing. So at some point You must consider if You want to put more money into new modules that will remain unfinished for the next comming years, or rather want to wait and se if developement catches up with investments You made years ago. I do know that DCS is in a special niche market. Flightsims cannot be compared to AAA games, but are mostly meant to be enhanced and progessly improved over a long time due to their complexity, but honestly patience also comes with a certain limit. Some modules has been in EA for up to 5 years - is that reasonable ? - I'm just asking.
  11. I have set IHADDS to to right eye only, cause that's the most realistic (Left eye, if that's Your most dominant eye). The calibrate it as described above.
  12. The cockpit texture sizes are insane. This has been reported in the Bug section of the CH-47F by many. Some has reduced the texture sizes themselves, since regardless if this has been reported from the very first day of EA release, nothing has been done by the developers.
  13. 5 patches since release and no attempt by the devs to bring the crazy texture sizes down in order to lower VRAM footprint.
  14. I have almost pre-ordered every module, be it Aircraft, Helicopters or Maps. This time though I will pass on and wait until it´s much more refined. Recently I got the Kola and Afghanistan map and the CH-47F, but I find all three of them too incomplete to also add an (most probably) incomplete Iraq map ontop of that. I know about Early Acces and what to expect, since as I told, I have done that with almost all addons and I own everything apart from the South Atlantic map, JF-17 and MBB-339. But for now I want to see how developement moves on for Kola, Afghanistan and CH-47F before investing more. The Razbam issue also comes on top of this, having all their Aircraft too. Also recent performance issues (flying almost entirely in VR) keeps me from putting more hard earned money into DCS. It´s not because I have lost faith in DCS, or want to be negative, but I just have reached a point where I want developement to catch up with my investment.
  15. Patch on a monday ? Thats new
  16. Radar map in the AH-64D is already implementet - Wags just had to follow up with a YT video showcasing it.
  17. Yeah - almost a month since last (small) update.
  18. Patches has been released thursday and friday before, but I also guess that holidays will have an effect too, so I don´t expect anything this week or the next.
  19. Big Newy has not been around since friday - maybe holiday times.
  20. The question here is not whether DCS was mad for VR or not or how DCS in general should run. The problem for those posting here, is that after the last few patches, performance has dropped quite a lot. So on the same systems that could run DCS very fine some patch cycles before what we have bow, both complex mission with many objects and in VR, are now unable to run it satisfactury.
  21. I just wonder why the textures are so big from the outset. Most people probably don´t have 16GB+ GPU's I guess most customers want a flight simulator and not a screenshot generator. Seems to be a trend for the latest ED modules (Mi-24, AH-64D and CH-47F). Look at the Heatblur F-4E, the VRAM footprint for the Cockpit textures are much smaller and still it looks amazing.
  22. I succeeded by making a non afterburner takeoff, but had to use some during the climb to 10.000 ft before going over Indian Springs City. The the rest of the mission I only used the afterburners for the drills where they where needed and only doing the drills once. I think I was down to 250 of fuel when parked.
  23. @Reflected I tried a second and a third time, finally with succes at the last try I´m not sure, but this time I made certain that all the drills where performed near Quartzite and kept from drifting southward. I got all the right calls to get into position for the approach and has now progressed to the next mission.
