I have deleted and replaced the database tables with the v0.8 and updated the app. Unfortunately, getting the following errors: ERROR MySQL - package type 1 ERROR MySQL - 1305 This keeps going for each package type The dcs.log has the following: LuaNET: Perun : Packed drop 1, error : Socket is not connected LuaNET: Perun : Connecting to TCP server LuaNET: Perun : TCP connection error : connection refused I have windows firewall turned off as well to see if that helped, but it did not.

Yes, tables are in my Db. I can connect to it using HeidiSQL without issue, so not sure why the 1305 error. That said, I did put the Perun tables in my existing Db and not the Perun Db.

That was it. Unfortunately, I can't get the perun mysql to connect keep getting 1305 error.

I believe with a small number of human players, you should call for AI backup via the menu. -
Operation Snowfox - Persian Gulf PvE Playground

First, just want to say WOW...what a great mission and effort on your part. We have just started using your mission, so thank you!. In regards to the persistent scripting, if I understand it correctly you just remove whatever has already been destroyed. If that is correct, is it possible to just replace the object with a damaged and burning object so that subsequent pilots will see the damage? EDIT: Looking at the code it appears that the static objects are exploded and smoke is added, but the units are just removed. Do I understand it correctly? -
After some digging, I found that it was a message of the day for the Perun scripting system.
-
Yes they were the same missions. Just to see what would happen I ran three different missions and all show the same two messages. It must be somewhere in the dedicated server files.
-
I have finally switch to the dedicated server setup this past weekend from using the OB in server mode. I noticed that following two messages upon starting the server: 1. Witamy na serwerze Gildia.org ! 2. Wymagamy obecnosci DCS SRS oraz TeamSpeak - szczegoly na forum I have not found anywhere in a script to change these message. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. When using the OB as a server I did not get these messages.

Servers not seen in DCS since last update

Seems that mine did update both the installer and the sim, however, server still doesn't show in multiplayer server list from sim, but does on web. -

Dedi web GUI not responding
sgray replied to Ron Attwood's topic in Multiplayer Server Administration
I guess the real issues is for those of us that had it working without issue before an update around April/May, then it stopped working. Why would we need to change anything (although I am sure everyone has since check and forwarded both IUP/UDP)? Certainly seems that something else has definitely changed on EDs end and not on the end users. Disappointing that something was provided (which everyone is thankful) but then nothing seems to be done about it for over five months. -
Your work is spectacular Sir!!!

Thanks for the update!

So let me start by saying I have no idea how to do skins. I noticed that the F/A-18C has dynamic side numbers that appear when you change in sim. Does this feature work with the F-14B? Assuming it does not, then does that mean you would have to have a separate skin for each side number if you wanted different ones? Lastly, has anyone done a full VF-103 Jolly Rogers squadron set that has been shared?

Take a look at your config, mine got overwritten after update. Also, ensure you got the dev branch update.

We are excited about the Super Carrier coming!! I am hoping, however, that some of the great things listed in the newsletter that are indicated for VR will also be available for those that can't use VR (like LSO, Airboss, etc.).

Thanks Grimes, I did stumble across that one and just wanted to make sure I was on the right path. I will give it a try and hope for the best. Thanks!!!

Well I was finally able to get Simod working, so that is a great thing. Anyone willing to help provide solutions on how to parse the various data files (lua and txt) for uploading to a website mysql database? Thanks in advance for any suggestions or assistance.

Suggest looking into the Moose Airboss script.

Look in your DCS install folder under Mods-aircraft (I think) then the aircraft and docs.

Eno thanks for the reply. Let me address your questions: 1) C:\Users\Scott\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Scripts is where I have the Hooks and net folders provided in the Slmod7_5 download. 2) I believe the instruction stated that the SLMOD folder should be in C:\Users\Scott\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta I hope that helps.
-
I have been trying to be Slmod7_5 installed and working, but no luck. I have copied the scripts folder (containing the Hooks and net folders) into my DCS.openbeta folder (running v2.5.5.31917). I then hosted a mp mission, expecting the Slmod folder to be created, but it is not. I would appreciate any advise to get this working. Thanks in advance.

I recently found an "older" GitHub project called DCSServerStats and got most of it working. I was wondering if anyone else is or has used it and figured out how to get the position data information to work. Thanks in advance for helping or recommending another or new solution to get DCS server stats into mysql and displayed via a website.

You need to turn on you LIQ COOLING switch on the left (pg 111 of manual)
-
From pg 200 of the Manual: On the right side is the CLSN button (7) enabling collision steering to currently tracked target or centroid if in TWS. This selection overrides the current steering information presented to the pilot with the collision steering, only exception being if the pilot selects the ACM.
