Ok, I'm totally confused. Last time I played Blackshark (a couple of months ago), my Saitek X52 worked fine (I could assign keys etc from within the sim), and now it doesn't. I'm a simple man, all I want is to bind the collective throttle to the throttle (the Z axis). Instead it is bound per default to the 'slider' which is less precise. In Blackshark there is no 'axis tune', it is greyed out. I'm running Vista 32, btw. Can anyone give me any advice?

Yes, your analysis was correct. It is random. Once in a while the rudder gets stuck. A hard bang on the desk with the throttle solves the problem. X52 ordered and on its way. :)

Hi all, Sometimes, not too often, but often enough to be irritating, I get a 'rudder stuck' problem. I can't figure out if its a bug or not, but it gets stuck to side or the other (usually as I reach a battleposition and get ready to engage). I reset trim etc, but it doesn't change anything. I can overcome it by manually compensating to the other side (I have an X36). Sometimes it goes away, sometimes it stays stuck until I land then when I restart its gone... Any ideas what could cause the problem?

Your wingman often use rockets when ATGM's are gone. But now that you mention it, I don't recall seeing Hinds do it.

Problem solved: You need to run both applications at the same permission level within Vista, or they will not function properly.

Bonkers, I've done as you, copied the ED folder into the root directory. But now TrackIR doesn't work anymore, neither in admin mode or not. Very strange. Should I delete the original Programfiles/ED folder ?

Also, it disables the hotkeys in TrackIR. Fx I cannot use F12 to center.

Hi Bonkers That was the problem! Thanks a lot. But when I start the game now it starts as if it was a fresh installation. I has 'forgotten' my profile (and all my hardearned flight hours :cry:). Do you know why that is?

Yes, works perfectly, even the campaign that is supposedly not working with Vista.

Thanks for the welcome! From lurking I can tell this community is a great bunch of people! Unfortunately my problem is not solved. In the options it says snglish cockpit, and I have chosen it, but it still does not appear in the game.

Hi all First I bought the russian version and installed it. Now I have bought the english version and installed it. I see the language changes in the mission texts, voices etc, except for the cockpit, its still the russian version. What gives? I thought the english version had the nifty english cockpit Matt is using in the training missions.
