  1. I am wondering if the Hornet is able to automatically switch to the next waypoint once the actual one is reached? It doesn't seem to work on my end. Whenever I reach let's say W1, I manually need to switch to W2.
  2. As a customer I do not really care about the size of the studio and the business and market in general. As long as other developers managed to deliver a fully clickable, just as complex (if not more) high end product without the aforementioned issues or lack of functionality it is a fair expectation from this developer too since the price tag is basically the same. The Viggen is on the market for a year and a half yet basic stuff such as essential animations are missing. Half of the switches are dummy including switches that otherwise have a function but the actual switch isn't clickable. I don't know the company therefore I can't say I trust them. I see what I believe. What I see is a product that was released a year and a half ago and is full of dummy switches despite being a high fidelity module - lacking so basic animations such as the toe brake and the radar stick and many, many more. Let's see if the developers have any intention addressing the above issues before the module gets out of Early Access. If not, then this was my first and last purchase from Heatblur.
  3. The whole aircraft is full of non clickable and/or non animated switches and knobs. Just look at the flight stick and the radar stick. Full of knobs and switches yet only a very, very few are clickable/animated.
  4. Although I wouldn't be this harsh, I have to admit I am disappointed too. Overall a great potential in this module but there are so many areas it is lacking. So many - unlike in other high fidelity modules - non functional switches. Also, many switches that are actually functional are non clickable and not animated. I mean how is that possible that the toe brake is not animated? Seriously. And the radar stick. And the countermeasures release knob. And the magnetic declination knob. And many more. If it was on release day, I'd say, alright, just came out. But the product is available for more a year now and these obvious things have not even been touched. And instead of getting this one right first, the team already shifted focus onto the F-14. So far, not impressed.
  5. And many, many other knobs and switches. These really need to be addressed.
  6. Is the toe brake not animated? Or is it just something problematic on my end? In general I noticed that there are way too many non functional knobs and switches and also a high number of functional but not animated ones such as the radar control stick, the pedal (toe) brakes as well as the Magnetic Declination knob on the right side panel. Are these gonna be addressed later during the Early Access? Obviously there are switches completely needless or impossible to implement within the confines of DCS so it is understandable if some of them are non functional but in this and only this modules (among the ones that I own) there is a very high number of such switches and knobs. As for the lack of animation, however, it would be very disappointing if switches, knobs, sticks, pedals etc are left without animation, including so obvious ones such as the toe brake (or the radar stick) just to name a couple.
  7. Why is the radar control stick not moving? Please make them animated, it's quite unrealistic that it's nothing but a static piece.
  8. I experienced it on the HUNAF Virtual Hungarian Air Force server only so far, plus I noticed something similar in the below video (although this could be his own TrackIR settings). Go to 19:00 in the video and watch for roughly a minute. Once again, this could be a different thing though - my issue is really an odd one, that NEVER happens offline, never happened on any other server either, only on that one, but there it happens 100% of the time.
  9. Need to check this but if it's the case that's quite a cheap solution, a bit disappointing. Also, the radar control stick is lacking animation. Hopefully these will be addressed.
  10. Do you mean one can use it but it's not animated inside the cockpit?
  11. I am no expert and what I describe might be normal but I can't see any heatblur coming out of the engines (?) in the Viggen even at High setting meanwhile other modules produce a very much visible heatblur even at Low setting.
  12. I am wondering how to fast erect the main Attitude Direction Indicator. There is a visible knob in the lower right corner of the instrument but is non functional. The manual, however, states it can be fast erected.
  13. I find the HUD completely unreadable against any light background: runway, clouds or even the sky itself. It's literally a torture for the eye to try and catch the readings.
  14. Lifting the cover of the magnetic declination knob, the knob itself won't turn. Wanted to set the +6 degree declination for the Caucasus map but there is no way turning this knob.
  15. Another weird finding. Whenever I fly the Viggen in a multiplayer environment, the the default zoom is totally messed up, it is zoomed in waaay to close using TrackIR. No issues at all when playing offline, the zoom is perfect. As soon as I enter a MP environment, it's zoomed in like crazy. Not any of my other modules seem to be show this weird behaviour. 100 % reproducible. EDIT: It looks like it's limited to certain MP servers only. Tried two other servers, everything is fine. But whenever I visit this particular server, the zoom issue is real. Can servers adjust or in any way manipulate an aircraft's cockpit zoom? EDIT 2: A popular Youtuber seem to be having (or at least had) a similar issue on their servers with the viewpoint being zoomed in and low.
  16. Hey, thank you for your kind response and no need to be sorry - I am not at all worried knowing that such a talented developer team is behind this awesome aircraft! You are aware of the issue - this is the most important, I am sure that a fix will come in due course. Until then I will exit and re-enter DCs to avoid the crashes. I just wanted to report it so that you know - but you knew already anyways. :-) One more thing I noticed that replays are somehow bugged using the Viggen. My first ever circuit in the aircraft, and what a smooth landing it was, but the replay made me crash into the grass alongside the runway.
  17. You might be right - I have no clue, just watched the video in the morning and I thought it's worth mentioning. Thanks for letting me know anyways!
  18. This surely isn't entirely fixed. Bought the Viggen two days ago, and if I go from the ME to fly the Viggen, then Quit using the ESC key and the Quit option (that takes me back to the ME), and then fly again and hit ESC once again and select Quit, the game crashes and wants to send an error report. 100% reproducible. using Open Beta only.
  19. Bought the Viggen a few days ago and almost instantly came across an issue that I can reproduce 100% of the time and that is limited to this module only. 1. Open the Mission Editor (ME) and set up a (however simple) scene with the Viggen. 2. Start the mission. 3. Hit the ESC key and select "Quit" from the menu that pops up. 4. This will take your back to the ME. 5. Start the mission once again. 6. Hit the ESC key and select "Quit" again from the pop up menu. 7. The game crashes and wants to send an error report to ED. I've been using the Open Beta software only. Tried the exact same with all my other modules (Huey, Gazelle, Mi-8, Hornet, Harrier and Mig21bis) and none of them had any issues when doing the exact same to them.
  20. I also noticed that if I go flying from the mission editor, then choose "Quit" and return to the ME, then go flying again, if I choose "Quit" the second time, the game crashes. It can reproduce this 100% of the time, and happens only in the Viggen. I have been using the Open Beta version of DCS.
  21. Hello, If you look at this original Swedish video at 8:30 then you'll see that the radar stick is collapsed on the ground. I guess it's a feature - you can then erect it for use. Would you please implement this into the DCS Viggen as well?
  22. Is there any update since then, regarding the road base system? GUI, Multiplayer functionality etc. Also, it would be fantastic if the following could be somehow developed/achieved: - While keeping Civilian traffic flowing, exclude them from using the road designated as runway, by somehow tricking the AI civilian traffic. This would kind of realistically simulate how a road is close when it's used as a runway. As a positive side effect, we could still keep civilian traffic going, without having to worry that they will use our "runway". - Also, to get the ground crew not to drive into the aircraft if it's still on the ground and the ground crew starts to relocate. I haven't found any news on further developments on this road base system. I am wondering if it's still being further enhanced as promised more than a year ago, regarding a a proper GUI, MP functionality, or is it now abandoned and left as currently is?
  23. I am wondering will the Viggen ever get a pilot body then?
