AS I said in my edit. I removed Joy Z from the collective and put it onto the middle lever with is like JOY R or something like that, and it did the same thing.... Are you saying there is software that you can download that you can configure outside the game, and have the game recognize those controls ?
-
Well it actually means the Z Axis on my peddals (they are in 2 diff collums) when I push my rudder peddals left and right it comes up as Joy Z....if I push my rudder peddals in (like a break peddal in a plane) that shows up as JOY X EDIT: I even moved the collective to another one of those LEVERS that wasnt Z and it gave the same failed results.

Here is a link to my yoke with a description about which axis I am trying to assign to collective: http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=543503 And here is a link to my current settings page: http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=543502 I hope someone can figure this out.
-
No, there are no hidden assignments... I have tried clearing all the axis assignments and re assigned them by moving them until the game picked them up and registered it...my throttle still moves when I move my collect input...makes no sense(if thats what you were suggesting I do)

/bump Anyone?
-
Have a look here at my settings and see if you can spot it...thanks http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=543502 EDIT: AS you can see I "DONT" have the throttle mapped, I have the collective mapped....
-
I did, I have "Flight Collective" or whatever it shows up in the Axis screens as one of the levers on my flight yoke.... Throttle isnt mapped to anything cause it wont let me map it to anything on my yoke.
-
Could anyone help me figure out why when I move my Collective on my flight yoke...the throttle goes up instead(yellow lever on the left). Because of this, its impossible for me to even lift off the ground :( http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=543502 <--- my current settings

So I finally started the engines...but..

This is making no sense. I even re checked my throttle axis which is "JOY Z" and made sure it was set to "Flight Control Collective" Then I went back in the game and did the engine start cheat to see if I did something wrong. Then when its all started up I throw my collective forward and the only thing that goes up is the yellow lever on the left.....why is it not moving my collective? -

So this does not make sense... in the control options > Axis Commands I have "Flight Control Collective" set to "JOY Z" which is the first lever on the left on my yoke...however in the game when I move that lever...the throttle (yellow thing on the left) is the thing that moves... What am I doing wrong. -

yeah I used page up x 2 to set it where it should be....then when I pushed my "collective" lever forward the throttle lever went up to full....so it sounds like the lever on my yoke is controlling the throttle instead of the collective maybe? -

This is the yoke I have... http://www.mijnalbum.nl/foto.php?m=fto&a=72&id=1948158&key=TF7ZA7RC The lever closest to the left is the one I have set as collective control, I tried to set the 2nd lever (middle) to Throttle but it doesnt let me assign a slider for Throttle. Only collective. Also, even though my first lever is assigned to collective.... I see the throttle going up and down on the left back panel of the cockpit (the yellow one) -

Well by default controls, my throttle lever on my Flight Yoke (yes I use a yoke) is assigned to Collective control... I tried to assign another axis to the throttle control but the game only lets you assign "keys" to the throttle control....so I am confused now -
So I finally got this beast fired up, systems on and ready to fly....(Thanks to Alpha) So I sit back, get ready for some action.....slowly raise my throttle to get some lift...but I dont go anywhere! I can hear the rotors getting louder and louder as the throttle increases...but I am not lifting off at all! Now what am I missing? :( P.S. When I give it enough throttle I get a warning with a lady saying to "Watch EKRAN" P.S.S Upon further review I realise my cockpit door is still open, lol. Not sure if thats the cause of it. But how do I close the door?
-
I suppose it will take some more practice then :)
-
So I am using the startup .pdf file that was posted here (forgot the name of the poster without going back and looking), and I get all the way to the point of firing up the engines. Then I have trouble. It says when the Left Engines RPM's get to 18% then turn the Left Cutoff Valve on. However I dont see my RPM's reaching anywhere near 18% before they die and quit starting up. Seeing as how the RPM gauge goes from 0 - 10 (x1000), I would assume that by 18% they mean 18,000 RPM's. The engine gets to about maybe 4,000 RPMs then quits... What am I doing wrong?

So on my CH Products Yoke I have this little 8 way HAT switch that in other games I have used to look around by pushing it whichever way I want... How can I set this HAT switch up to move the Shkval TV targeter so I dont have to use they keyboard to move it?
-
Heck yeah SCIF your a life saver :)
-
so just hit ESC twice and it would work just fine ?
-
Well at least there is an explaination as to why its not working. Thats too bad :(
-
Yeah, thats not an option being a college student who just got laid off. I still see no logical reason why the mouse wheel zoom function suddenly doesnt work when you have the clickable panel enabled..... There has to be some way around this to get them to work
-
I just checked the controls. When I put the controls filter to show "ALL" the controls in the game then scrolled down to see if I see anything in the MOUSE colum and "NOTHING" is assigned to anything on the mouse. If I cant click things in the cockpit, and zoom using the mouse for both of them, the game becomes unplayable suddenly :( Anyone else have a solution ?
-
/bump Anyone? can I have the mouse wheel zoom and also have the clickable panel work together ?
-
Alright that seemed to work. However I dont use TrackIR (yet) so I use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, and works rather well for me. But when I have the clickable panel enabled I can no longer zoom in and out with the mouse wheel..? this doesnt make much sense to me.
-
HOw do I get the lil cursor so I can click on things in the cockpit? I have searched the board but apparently dont have the proper search words.
