  1. Tried to play with this online, is it still not working at all? Would be a cool task for the mig-21 in modern area of op. Not just everyone in an F-18....
  2. In open beta it does not work for me. Accually never has. Bought the module 6 mounth ago.
  3. Try to fly formation with a airplane. A big one, lets say c-130. Tip his wing with the tip of your wing. He will crach and burn and you will not have a scratch on your wing. Just try it. You might like it.... its an easy way to kill tankers and stuff without wasting ammo in DCS.....:pilotfly: Works with the mig-21. Have not tried it with any other module.
  4. Try to fly up to another airplane, wingtip him with your wing. Watch him break apart and lose the wing. Your wing will show no damage and you can continue as nothing happened... Think this a crappy damage model and there are videos of viggens flying with one wing. Its a DCS thing I think.
  5. And on those "promises" your buisness is run. If you dont deliver you loose credability. See where this is going young padowan....?
  6. yeah, sad but true. A lot of promise, and the rest... well time will be the judge I guess. Over 4 years in "early accses"..... and now the lighting in the cockpit is broken, missiles i s wonky, SAU wierd... yeah, still hoping though... Or Heatblur makes a J-35......
  7. Would love a Draken! The problem with a JA 37 is the datalink and some other systems that are still classified. (JAS 39) The problem with the Draken is that it never got any good missiles....
  8. You mad bro? I disagree with you on how they should spend the dev time! And for that I am going to buy an icecrem?! Lol! whatever man.....
  9. Totaly agree! Heatblur has the bar way higher than any other 3d party dev. Waaaay higher! Keep it up!
  10. Yeah..... This is really importent, as there are no buggs left in the mig-21 to work on. Lets waist time on pylons (on a version thats not even in the game...)instead of fixing the buggs that are over a year old in the buggtracker.... Good desitions right there.... Perhaps they should put some developing time in a biplane while we are at it. Ohh, wait, thats right......
  11. Any ETA when it will be fixed for open Beta? Miss me MIG... ;)
  12. Dont wait. If they had the skills to correct the fm and damage model they would have done it long time ago. Its 4 years in the making and if you wait a year or two is not going to make any diffence. It is as it is. Just learn it and have fun. Its a cool ride!
  13. Make it a flyable module and take my money!!!! All of them!!
  14. mmmmmm sweet! That would be awsome!
  15. Yeah a J-35 Draken would be a dream!!
  16. I agree with you as I said. Of cource they can do whatever they like to. If they are set to simulate a Mig-21 at a museeum they can do that but then they need to update the store on Steam and DCS with screenshots that is up to date. What you see right now is not what you get and of cources people is going to rant! Easy fix is a mod or you can try to get the devs attention. The devs handeled this really poor. Thats my only concern. The rest is history.
  17. I can agree with you on that. I like the were and tear in the cockpit but the dirty canopy is a bit overdone. The artist did a good job but alas its not working that good in a combat enviroment in a game! What I dont get though is if its so easy, why so openly dismiss the suggestion? Why not give us the option to select a clean canopy if you want to fly with that? Its not hard as you pointed out. Why so openly dismiss the idea! It is the recepie for creating this "drama"! Why not just say: Ok, good ide we will have a look at it and then do a poll or something in the community. Collect buisness data! Then you accually know what people thinks and what they want with the product. Instead they chosen to argue with the angry mob in the forums. In my book wierd buisness decision. I mean you want to sell copies of the mig-21 right? So if there accually is a majority that want a clean canopy. Just do it. If its just some trolls in the forum ranting about, you leave it alone. You have the poll/markering data to make your decisions around. Now its just drama and flames and the devs in the middle of it all....selfinduced to be fair......
  18. Lol... you dont say! Dude, really....
  19. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=208757&page=5 Listen to your customer and keep an open and friendly dialog to build a long lasting relationship for the future. (Customer relations 101) I am going to be really careful before buying from Leatherneck again as it is obvious, as soon as they have your money, you can go and suck it.....
  20. Thats look nice but I dont have anything against the wear and tear inside the cockpit. Looks good and as an aircraft that been used for 1000h or more BUT still being used and fully operational! Its the really sloppy canopy work that the devs think is "looking good" or something.... But as they, by them self, have chosen to look upon their own roll in this, they are janitors at a museum and DCS is a museum simulator! :megalol:
  21. 8 As you see people you are buying a museum relic when you buy the Mig-21. If you are cool with that, go right ahead! But be warned! Its not a functional beast of a fighter. Its janitors running the maintanance so shit is going to stop working or not work at all.... forever and ever......... Accually I am sad for you my friend..... really. Hope things works out for you
  22. Just want to start with I really like the mig-21 and you devs really do a great jobb! Thank you for the mig-21!!!! The thing with fighters is that the problem with a dirty canopy is a small one. You have to keep the inside clean but on the outside the speeds they are using makes the friction clean the aircrafts in a way. If they fly thru rain the canopy gets hammered by the rain and cleaned. (Drive a car thru rain and you get the same effect....) To have a canopy that dirty as the devs have chosen for the mig-21 is wierd, not reslistic at all if you want to simulate a operational jetfighter. If you want to simulate a fighter thats been left outside at a museum for 30 years that a janitor tried to make rainproof with selicone all over the canopy..... well done devs! Because, for me at least thats what the canopy looks like. No trained engineer or technican in the world would do sutch a bad seeling work! Specially around the cockpit. And no not even in wartimes! Specially in conflict you step up your game, even with limited resources! A janitor at a museum, untrained but armed with good intentions to make the aircrafts rainproof so the visitors can sit in the mighty Mig-21, would... So to you devs, are you skilled profesionals or janitors with good intentions? And yes, I work with this stuff irl.
