Slaw Device RX Viper V2 Rudder Pedals
timothyburton replied to Slaw's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
For me it was worth the wait. It is so well constructed. I am seriously impressed by the quality. I don’t think I will ever need to buy another set of pedals again. I didn’t like the quality of the TM pedals. They seemed like cheap pot metal. They feel so realistic, and the heft to move them I love. It keeps me from over controlling the yaw. ???? -
Sorry for the bump, but I am trying to use this to set up my throttle (Warthog Throttle, Virpil T-50MC2 with F-18 stick, and Slew Rudder Device). When I run the script, I have When I go to settings I see: Rudders Thrustmaster Virtual Throttle, and VPC stick. Is this right, I was told there should be Warthog Throttle and a Virtual Throttle. Should it be two or should it be one? Thank you for helping a newbie. EDIT: Can I use this in IL-2:GB?

Well, I'm not new new, but I haven't flown in over 3 years and now this time I have a HOTAS instead of a little stick and basically being a keyboard typist. I want to start practicing on the F/A-18. I have a Warthog Throttle and a Virpil T-50CM2 base with the F/A-18 Grip. Does anyone have a profile/set up for that set up that most closely mimics the real F-18 HOTAS? Thanks

AA, Thank you!

Do you get a better sense of speed in DCS than with say the Vive? I don't own VR, but when I used it and watched the video the Pimax had a better sense of speed from the larger FOV than the Vive did and that the video basically showed me the same things I felt when using it. I haven't tried the Pimax, but I had the same experience with the Vive. It seems the 150 degrees is ideal, but the Index I guess is supposed to only be 130. Appreciate your thoughts and experiences.

Amen! Was so disappointed to find out it was from last year.

PointCTRL - Finger Mounted VR Controller

I'd love to see the sensor made to fit the Frunk of the Valve Index, because that is what I plan on getting next fall.- 3416 replies

Great, but that isn't the one from Heatblur. That is the one we want a PDF for. I would like to download it to my PDF reader on my iPad.

This. Buddy was deployed and he let me use his VR setup and GPU. I went back to a monitor when he got back 3 months later and I couldn't fly. I won't be flying until I can get a VR headset.

Their next module should be the B-58. No reason to think they'd pick it, I just find it sexy.

Well, you can't jump out of a KC-135 like you can a KC-130. AATW!

I don't doubt there is a reg on that. I wouldn't be shocked to find a regulation on how to poop. Heck, I've found regulations that contradict other regulations. That is fun, seems the leadership always picks to follow the one that does NOT benefit you.

The infinite/near trick is what is used by us on ground operations. There are two tricks: 1. Focus one at infinity and one at 8 feet 2. Focus one at infinity and one at 2 feet. The one at two will allow you to read things, but it's harder for actual CQ combat. I actually don't the monocle for open field combat ops. I can see things sometimes with the non-NVG eye that the NVG doesn't illuminate. That said, I prefer the thermal/NVG combined goggles, but they are hard to get my hands on.

How do you use the MFD when in VR?
