  2. Hmmm... Very strange. I'm sure I've never seen this bug before with the regular Su33 model. The screens where taken about 6 months ago. And the game was hosted by our dedi server, so not by myself.
  3. I've never seen issues like this before! Here are some screen shots during online play that shows it works fine with the stock model
  4. Nice model! Although I did notice a few glitches during a squad flight. If someone in the game folds his wings the weapons don't go up. They stay in mid air. Look at the screenshot below. Your own weapons do go up, but they don't rotate, they stay level. I also noticed the the right hand ECM pod seems to be rotated 180 degrees the wrong way (along it's long axis).
  5. If your cockpit has been shot to bits (and you survived) the air will leak out and you'll be glad to have an oxygen mask!
  6. Lonewolf stop posting on the ED forums and start earning some money to buy DCS:A10C. You're really missing out on this!!!
  7. What if DCS:BS is patched to match the DCS:A10's terrain, is DCS:BS still compatible with FC2?? I guess not because FC2 does not have the new terrain.
  8. You should use a gentle touch of afterburner while cruising, just a very little bit of AB will suffice. You can easily maintain 12000 meters that way without falling out of the sky with pretty good fuel economy. Once your fuel gets down to 6500-6000kg you can stop using the afterburner.
  9. That's kind of tiny to be the big dipper! Look up a bit more, and you'll see it
  10. That's an awesome movie!!
  11. Join a squad for an even better multi-player experience. The 159th organizes two multiplayer missions per week. In each mission you have Fighters, Strikers and Choppers working together to accomplish the mission! And of course we use TS to communicate between flights! It's can't get any better than that! :)
  12. What!? Is Viper gonna put his cougar in the corner?? Will he abandon his beloved Cougar at replace it?!? OMG that's so cruel
  13. That as well! BTW on making that ACMI above I blacked out as well! Easy on the stick next time :joystick:
  14. Is that really smart? Your RWR does not work anymore if your bank exceeds 30-40 degrees or so. So when barrel rolling your RWR does not give a good reading, or it does not give any reading at all!
  15. That's exactly what I mean! I quickly made a simple ACMI showing what I mean. And I say again, it's purely as a last resort when all has failed, it's better to turn into the missile than do nothing  Turning into a missile IT WORKS.rar
  16. No no no! If I had a track then I would show it! Remember I mean from very short range, when the missile is almost guaranteed to hit! It's more like a last resort and it's better than turning away. But it also depends on the angle. A lot of factors actually, as you might know. :smilewink:
  17. Firstly, flares don't work in AMRAAMs. Use Chaff instead. Try to keep the missile on your 3-9 o'clock line. That way you notch the missile as well, increasing the chance of spoofing the missile. When the missile is launched from long range (Beyond visual range (BVR)) you should try to drain the missile's energy by making constant course adjustments. Then when it comes closer (look at your RWR) put the missile on your 3-9 line and pull a hard G turn when the missile is very close. An other alternative to evade a missile from long range is to simply run away in the opposite direction. When the missile is launched from short range (within visual range (WVR)) try to turn into the missile with a maximum G turn (you need to time this turn). It might sound strange, but the missile has to make more G's when you turn into it, then when you turn away from it. With a bit of chaff and luck the missile might pass underneath you.
  18. Make a list of banned IP's and share them with all the squads. That way they cannot join any major server anymore. Use serverman for the banning
  19. Viper and his Cougar... He almost married it! Keep in mind that Viper's Cougar mod came a price! Some people claim that the X52pro is more precise compared to the un-modded version of the cougar. I can't confirm that, but it's something I've been hearing a lot. After all the cougar still uses pods, while the X52pro uses magnetic sensors. But the Cougar is full metal, and if feels like a better product. The X52pro feels a bit cheap. It's all plastic, but so is 95% of all the things you buy! If you go for the X52 I'd say spend some extra money to get the X52pro. It's just a bit better, and worth the extra. And I think the X52pro is a great compromise for people who want a good HOTAS, but don't want to spend a fortune on it. I've had my X52pro for more then two years now, and no problem with it what so ever. And trust me it has seen a lot of flight hours and abuse :smilewink: Just don't buy the X52 for it's little MFD build into the throttle. It doesn't work with LOMAC or BS, it's just for the bling. It works in FSX though...
  20. 7kg?? I really want things to be as actuate as possible, it's a simulator after all. But 7kg.... this is a bit like splitting hairs to me.
  21. That's the point of this camo. If you see it flying you think it's already dead, so you leave it alone! A Wonderful Russian invention :music_whistling:
  22. I think the camo is ugly, but it works really well! So that makes it awesome! :smilewink:
  23. I've noticed if you hit someone with two missiles, you might get the kill message twice. Once for killing the pilot and the second for destroying the Aircraft it seems. This also applies for servers not running ServerMan. Now if this is true, then the double messages are caused by a bug in FC2, and not a bug in ServerMan. That's my guess anyway.
