Did you just double-click the .exe in the /bin folder or did you use the provided link in the start menu? If you check the properties of this link you will notice that the .exe is launched with the "update" parameter, which will not happen if you double-click the .exe

digestIT 2004 wurde hier vor ein paar tagen empfohlen, ich habe selber aber keine persönliche erfahrung mit dem programm, da ich nur per torrent runterlade. Ein paar angaben zum system wären vielleicht auch nicht verkehrt, soweit ich mich erinnern kann, haben die patches zu BS 1 nicht wirklich was an der performance geändert. @Frechdachs: Ich stimme dir zwar zu, wenn Kartoffelbauer allerdings schon bei dem recht anspruchslosen BS 1 probleme hat, wird er mit DCS: World erst recht keine freude haben. Runterladen und ausprobieren kann ers natürlich trotzdem, kostet ja nix.

Und wenn er nur BS 1 hat? Zumindest liest sich das für mich so und da ist 1.0.2QF der letzte patch für die deutsche version. Zum problem selber fällt mir nicht viel ein, daß spiel ist ja anscheinend vor dem patchen gelaufen, es kann also eigentlich nur am patch liegen, ich würde noch mal komplett deinstallieren und neu installieren. Außerdem vor dem patchen die patch-datei überprüfen (MD5), ob hier auch alles fehlerfrei runtergeladen wurde.

Oder am besten gleich einen torrent-clienten benutzen, die prüfen schon beim runterladen ständig die checksums und laden beschädigte dateien erneut runter.

Not that I disagree on your previous points, but there is a simple solution for this - you install BS1 to some other disk. It's a 4,4 GB footprint, I have it installed on one of my HDDs and just leave it there, doesn't bother me at all, tbh.

AFAIK the game alreay sets 16x AF by default, so there is no reason to force that via your graphics card driver.

There is no separate *.exe for the different aircraft in DCS: World, there is only "DCS.exe" in \DCS World\bin\

Mit L-ALT+C kannst du zwischen maussicht an/aus umschalten, dann kannst du dich mit der maus umsehen. Die meisten hier werden allerdings einen headtracker benutzen, wo sowas durch eine einfache kopfbewegung ermöglicht wird. Wenn ich mich nicht irre ist das umsehen auch standardmäßig auf den POV-hat des joysticks gelegt, sollte so also auch funktionieren. Seriennummer mußte ich bisher immer nur einmal eingeben, nach erfolgreicher aktivierung kommt da keine aufforderung mehr. Sicher, daß da alles richtig abgelaufen ist?

Both installations will happily co-exist side by side, so there is no need to save anything unless you plan on uninstalling DCS: A-10C. Of course this also means that you have set up DCS: A-10C(World) from scratch.

Deaktivieren - neuen PC zusammenbauen - installieren - aktivieren. Für das BA2 upgrade mußt du auch BS1 installieren und aktivieren.

Thing is, even if you don't pre purchase the P-51 you get access to DCS: World and the Toad.

The training missions in BS1 could hardly be called interactive, all you could do was hit ESC and take control. You will not miss out if you just watch the videos.

AFAIK there is no key for BS only for DCS: A-10C.
