  1. Nice clean setup yourself! Exported mfd's are priceless
  2. Here are couple pics of my current setup... works great using Helios and touchscreens. testing a single front monitor mount, a little more compact setup-- Deadman's stick covers ( look nice) oh... and my pet Rat, LOL
  3. Nice clean setup!! with touchscreens you setup any sim, good job I might do something like you, but use a sparco r100 seat mounted to a welded frame adjusted to the same height as yours. I like to play multiple sims/games, it only makes since.
  4. I'm using a Helios switch, it will be physical and not touch, but without Helios the switch be just for looks!
  5. Lol, good I don't want to be one!
  6. Sorry all fixed! Pm's are open now Still working on the panels, swithces and gauges. I plan on making all the engine, fuel, AOA, VSI, ALT all functional working gauges. So more to come...
  7. Correct, Gadroc reads my thoughts better then I do! lol I can put a 8 incher for the engine gauges, but real needles moving would be very cool, and this would give us good grounds to test Helios with different electronic setups.
  8. Hey all I have been pretty busy with Helios and SCS stuff, but now it is time to get the A-10 going. So, I'm starting on the front console and working from there. The hard part is deciding where I want LCD's vs real gauges... that is using servo's or aircores. Here is my prototype built mostly in mdf with some acrylic for panels and bezels/gauges. so, next step is to finish the structure and move on to the details.. panels, gauges, etc...
  9. 21.5" incher is around $250 and 23" is close to $330. Helios is in a free Beta now, but the finished product will be $69.
  10. We are not exporting the MFD info from DCS!! All that is done the same way as always. There is no way for us to do it... DCS really needs a separate program built into the sim that allows us to do that. Helios is for instruments, panels, switches, etc...
  11. any performance increases?
  12. Yes , you can display Helios over anything you want... in Windows or sim.
  13. Ya guys, it will treat a touchscreen switch the same as a physical switch! Pretty cool suff
  14. www.Scsimulations.com Free 30 day key for our beta test, after testing it will be $69. Helios works directly with DCS A-10/BS and other sims Any issues, please post on SCS forums!!!!!
  15. NOPE!
  16. I have tested a lot and have not seen any fps hit since the early beginning of the software. When your exporting the mfd's, then you start with the FPS bog down. Again, any technical questions or issues need to be posted on the SCS forums for quick response.
  17. There is a HUD only view, but we hope we can talk the DCS boys into a custom HUD view, which you would have the wings/tail plus HUD/Canopy frame for visual reference.
  18. yep, have one!
  19. LOL
  20. Current GADROC and I are working graphics for the A-10 23 inch setup or 1920 by 1080. Gadroc has most of the front console fully functional with the mfd's fully working. We are coming along pretty well and should have a limited open beta here within the week.
  21. it is a 22inch!
  22. The 23 mon will work for all, but we have to get a little creative. The flaps, fuel , and all front instruments will be mapped out on the 23... we are still working on the art work. A larger monitor would be cool, but there is not a touch screen out there that is cost effective other then the 22 and 23's.
  23. We have a new site up as well that has a little more info about Helios, we plan on a open beta here very shortly. Scsimulations
  24. yep Slam, yours will be in today! My HOGS come straight from TM.
  25. I was on both actually, EMB (FAT), CRJ(DEN) 4years of it, but now I'm flying citations out of AR.
