  1. Getting everything set back up in my "Bug" and I am unable to assign the HMD CW and CCW commands to anything other than the keyboard. What I am trying to do is assign it to one of the rocker switches on my right Cougar MFD. I have found that the rocker switches work very well for the knob commands. The problem is that the assignment line is greyed out all the way across after the Keyboard column. Anyone one else seeing this?
  2. As I said above,I worked on SkyPigs for 7 years back in the 80's and I never saw ether one. When I first got to VMA(aw)242 in August of 81,They only had a few strait E's left. They were changing over to the E CAIN's. It has the Hard points for the TRAM,but no ball. You can see a small section just forward of the nose wheel with no opening. Slowly,E CAIN's were replaced by the E TRAM's. That's what I worked on most of my time in.
  3. Thanks illern! Found what I was looking for at: DCS World\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\Cockpit\scripts\KNEEBOARD\pages\Backgrounds Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. ~Lobo~
  4. Hi All, I've been running a 3 monitor for my F/A-18 setup and exporting mfcd's etc... to my lower screen. I would like to export my Airspeed,Altimeter and ether my ADI or radar. I looked around and wore out the search function, but for the life of me can't find the proper names or a way to do this. Can anyone shed a little light on the subject? :book:
  5. Where can I find the original kneeboard pages for the Viggen? I have kneeboard builder installed but it does not bring up the original pages. I have a Virgin copy of DCS 2.5.3 with the AJS installed on another hard drive, It still has the original pages. Where do I find them?
  6. You know,I don't remember. I know it was on the B/N's Right and down. We had to arm a "guillotine" that would cut the hose in an emergency, then lead-wire seal the switch cover on the panel. I'm not sure if it was left in the bird or removed when not in use.
  7. With all this talk about KA-6D's why had no one brought up Buddy stores? I was Assigned to A-6's from August of '81 until October of '88 As a Marine Aviation Ordnaceman. I managed to rack up 18 months of "Blue Water" time on the Ranger in '87 -'88. we never had any KA-6D's. The old War Hovers did most of tanking. Our sister squadron an us did some tanking with buddy stores from time to time. "Strikes Deeper,Lingers Longer, And carries a Bigger Load!"
  8. Looks like I'm off to down load another DEVRiM Cockpit!
  9. Even though I would like to see some J's and smokeless S's,I will very satisfied with a G. Can you say Wild Weasel anyone? :shifty:
  10. Thanks for the replies! That sure beats a flat-out NO! Hope we get a Fat leg (Navy/Marine) as well as a Skinny leg (Air Force) variant. Nothing like the feeling when you're standing at the end of the runway and they "firewall" it and the burners kick in. That old J-79 would rattle your teeth!
  11. I was told by a friend that getting the F-16 has cost us getting the F-4 Phantom. So I tried to search the forum for ANY mention of an F-4 with no luck. I don't know if I'm using the wrong search terms or if nothing exists. Can anyone shed a little light on this subject?
  12. Not understanding all of this completely(noob to skinning in DCS) I'm not sure if this will help anyone. In the deep ,dark recesses of my external hard drive,I have a virgin copy of DCS world 2.5.3. So I have copied and zipped up the ModelViewer folder from the Config folder. Perhaps someone can use it. Back to reading the previous posts so that I can setup a copy for myself! Change 1: Added ModelView.exe and ModelView2.exe to the Zip file. ModelViewer v2.5.3 Plus.zip
  13. Rabb is coming to DCS? Cool! :music_whistling: I know, I know,I'm Old as dirt :D
  14.
  15. it should look like this :)
  16. Probably just a WIP thing. Bombs seem to be fine.
  17. I worked as an Aviation Ordnanceman (6531) for 8 years. The usual firing order for the stations was 1,5,2,4,3 or better, left outboard, right outboard, left inboard, right inboard, centerline . Today I noticed that my AGM-65Fs were firing right outboard, left inboard, right inboard, left outboard. So I loaded up some -E's and they did the same thing. Is this a bug or has the station firing order changed?
  18. You might even do what My lazy old as...self did :D I moved all my slew commands to the Comms button (right side top) and my comms commands to the slew button(front, far right). It's a whole lot easier (at least for me) to control the crosshairs with my thumb while hold down the other button with my pinkie. :pilotfly:
  19. Nope...Nada https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3712770#poststop

  21. Yes,I tried something like that...but I kept hitting my knuckles on the stick :music_whistling:
  22. Cool ! I was going to suggest looking into GIMP. It's free. I still have it loaded,so I checked and it works with .dds as well.
  23. Yes,I heard about it this morning.Very sad indeed. '242 was one of my old squadrons back in it's A-6 days
  24. Huum,Under "Save as file type" I have D3D/DDS (*DDS;DDS) on the drop down menu.
  25. Took a little flight to the NW and look what I found. It is a bit flat though
