Same here. Yes, it is an early access, but there are some basic functions have to be fixed to be, at least operational.

I have the gear lever up and down mapped, and until today, I didn't have to remove the guard to raise or lower it. Now, I have to remove the safety lock for to move it, and it doesn't matter whether or not I have the "Simplified gear lever" option checked in the special options.

Just that, navigation lights can be turned on without having electrical power, and there is also no difference between selecting them bright or dim.

It would be interesting to be able to embark a couple of soldiers, so they could be inserted as JTACs, or snipers...

Yes, that is the solution. I tested in Vaziani and it looks nice. I have the Bandid648 weather mod, but doesn't work lowering the cloud base.

Is there any way to have a full overcast layer of clouds at 500 feet AGL for ILS approaches? Is it possible? Very nice mod. Thank you. EDIT: I saw a few post above that there is a limitation for the ceiling, but what about the full overcast option?, (at least at 1500')

No overcast at 500 feet AGL preset options. The only way is adjusting the fog parameters, but the "natural"horizon still visible. The dust and smoke settings have a better look, but it doesn't work withs VR, at least in Beirut.
