  1. The rep system in its current state is terrible, I just tried to rep several people and it told me each time that I have to spread more rep. This is ridiculous, I'm not trying to rep the same 3 people over and over again, in fact I haven't repped anyone for quite some time cause I'm always getting this message. I've never encountered such an annoying rep system before.
  2. lol indeed, I had to pay more attention
  3. Beautiful photos, Namenlos. What is this thing attached to aircraft on the 7th pic? It looks like the conformal fuel tanks the new F-16 versions use. Never seen a Sukhoi jet with such before.
  4. Just saw this posted in the Russian section :shocking:
  5. Actually it looks quite dead :)
  6. Wait a second, it's only the B version that won't have a gun right? I can hardly imagine a modern fighter without a gun, the F-22 has one ffs. A multirole fighter such as the F-35 would certainly benefit from a cannon, in situations where it has dropped its bombs but there's an immediate need to destroy one or several soft targets the gun would come in handy. Having to use an amraam to shoot down a Mi-17 or other similar aircraft looks like a waste of money. There could be a number of situations where you might need a gun on a multirole fighter, that's why they all have one.
  7. that concept looks pretty badass.
  8. Why does it need such?
  9. What are these and why is 6) covered/uncovered on different pics?

    Game Engines!

the terrain from a heli perspective:
  11. I thought it's max speed was Mach 1.6, so isn't M1.4 too much? Another thing, is pylons jettison still viable, I remember reading (long time ago) that the pilot can jettison the external pylons if an immediate threat requires him to make use of the aircraft's full stealth capabilities?
  12. I wonder what max speed is this aircraft capable of with weapons mounted on all pylons.
  13. The secondary explosion is quite visible (0:53-0:59), either the tank was loaded with explosives which detonated after the tow hit it, or its own ammo blew up.
  14. Looks great, especially having in mind what it endured.
  15. JGSDF Apache:
  16. They are a partner. And do you think the US would sell them these two F-35s if they expect that Turkey won't buy more but instead is planning on starting a T-35 production line and manufacture 100 of these by themselves? Or that they'll pack one up and send it to China for instance  As far as I know the purchase of those 100 F-35 has just been delayed.
  17. I don't know if this ^^ makes any sense at all since Turkey is a partner in the JSF program and will be ordering about 100 F-35s, if I recall correctly. So what "copying of the 2 they are getting" are we talking about here? Certainly the F-35 can help them in the development of an indigenous fighter although as of now there is no such aircraft planned. There were some talks on possible negotiations between TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries) and KAI (Korea Aerospace Industries) on the development of the KF-X fighter, but there is no indication that any final agreement has been reached.
  18. Yes, we'd better drop this as everything has been said already. Just some clarifications before that: he did post in English except for the country name. It was not posted in English as in English there is no such word as "Turkiye". He used the Latin alphabet but that was not English. I never said I didn't understand what country he meant, but this a principal matter, if you post in an English forum you don't write the countries Rossiya, Sakartvelo, Hanguk, Prathet Thai, Nihon, Turkiye. You use the correct English names (Russia, Georgia, Korea, Thailand, Japan, Turkey), I don't know why is this so hard to understand.
  19. I don't want to be a moderator, never wanted to be. Plus what I did was remind the forum rules to someone that obviously needed reminding, doing so is not moderators' reserved territory. There is no need to act as a lawyer to your countryman, as I haven't insulted him just asked him to follow the forum rules and pointed some facts: 1. what's the name of your country in English, 2. what's the language of communication on this forum
  20. I don't care how all the turks say it, you post in an English forum not in a Turkish one. I'll just give you an example, Georgia is a country that most of us have heard of yet Georgians call their country Sakartvelo. Sounds familiar? I guess no. I don't have to learn how the people of each country around the world call their countries, I'm posting in an English forum. Even if you write it with font size "10" all caps, it will still be Turkey in English. Another thing to add is that acting that tough on me telling me what I "must" and "must not" do, doesn't have any effect on me, instead you can read Forum rule 5.2, which states what are the languages used for communication on the forums and while you are at it, check out 1.2 too as judging from your post you haven't.
