First screen :shocking: Here's some real footage:
  10. Tried the patch download not the full 1.1.1.1 version, didn't work for me. All kinds of crashes, couldn't start a single mission. I'm downloading the full version now, will report back after installing it.
  11. Someone from the team mentioned some crashes with weapons.dll being fixed, where is this info in the patch notes? What about the notorious Effects.dll crashes?
  12. Is DCS Nevada going to have this? :D http://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/satellite-images-reveal-secret-nevada-uav-site-365721/

    Human Being

It sounds nice but is also so utopian and unrealistic that we won't see something like this for a good several hundred years to say the least.
  14. I'd like to know that too, many people complained about the FPS they got with 1.1.1.0, any positive change in 1.1.1.1?
  15. Oh Iran? 10+ :D
  16. more like 2
  17. This is not alien tech, you won't need hundreds of years to learn what you need from it, and looking at how new aircraft be it drones or manned are not popping up every year, but are projected to be in service for dozens of years, it would be wise not to give your tech so easily to others. ;)
  18. Ok, I can't even determine the color of those Su-34s it even looks a little purplish to me. Isn't there a better quality photo? BTW the bottom is still blue.
  19. The Japanese are currently building their first helicopter carrier of the new class (2 planned), which will be longer than the British Invincible class aircraft carriers and will weight almost as much. There are some opinions stated that it is so big that can be restructured to be able to carry fighter jets. Here an image (not a real photo) showing how big it is compared to the currently in service Hyuga class helicopter carrier: http://www.jeffhead.com/worldwideaircraftcarriers/22DDH-02.jpg
  20. where did you read that?
  21. Iran might not have that but Russia does. And it's not just reverse engineering that we are talking about here, having this drone almost intact would allow extensive RCS studies and experiments to be conducted, testing different radar wavelengths against it for instance. Ultimately it contains valuable info that could be used for stealth and anti-stealth research. This aircraft is not an empty shell, a shape only, it's also materials, it's electronics, sensors, etc. It's not a secret that the US are ahead of everybody in UAV technology, that's why for countries currently developing such this drone would be a gold mine.
  22. Startolaunch carrier aircraft announced more info: http://www.space-travel.com/reports/Its_A_Bird_Its_A_Plane_No_Its_Stratolaunch_999.html
  23. ^^ that's one unusual camo for su-34
  24. You have more advanced UAVs, take X-47B for example. It is undergoing tests currently and it's one of those pieces of technology you wouldn't want the potential adversaries to take their hands on. One of those in chinese hands would be pretty much a disaster for the US aviation industry. :)
