  1. Just tested out tars with some friends this evening and we all loved it. Really adds to the immersion. The radio effect to our voices sounds awesome too. Sounds just like an actual aviation radio headset. There was one issue I was having. Every now and then, the pluggin stopped working. It was working fine for a while, and then all of a sudden, every ones voices sounded normal again, and they could not hear me. I alt tabbed and saw that teamspeak was not responding. I exited out of teamspeak and restarted teamspeak, and it worked again. This happened a couple of times. Other than that, it worked awesome
  2. How are things going Ricardo. Haven't heard from you in a while. Are you still going to work on this mod? Please don't give up on this. Your work will be very much appreciated. Damn Im really pissed off at those frickin theives. :furious:
  3. :cry_2: Awe man, that is really bad news. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that the thief gets whats coming to him. I hope that you won't get discouraged with this mod after losing all those hours of work. I'm sure that I speak for everyone in saying, you got the support of the community behind you on this mod.
  4.
  5. All I can say is WOW!!! :surprise::surprise::surprise::surprise::surprise: Please be done soon! :worthy::worthy::worthy::worthy:
  6. I say that the stats get reset after all the bugs are ironed out. I think that it is kind of pointless to reset the stats when we still have bugs in the stat system. Then we will just have to reset again when they do get fixed. That will make people more upset. I am all for resetting after that.
  7. WOW!!! :surprise:
  8. That is awesome news Ricardo. I will try to be patient. Please don't feel bad for the negative things other individuals have to say about your mod. The vast majority love this mod and REALLY appreciate what you are doing. I will certainly wait longer to get the best mod possible. Black Shark isn't going any where, and I will certainly be playing it when this mod comes out. You the man Ricardo  I would rep you again if I could, but the server won't let me.
  9. 19 seconds to load the stat page for me. 16 seconds to load a player. Maybe your internet is slow.
  10. I think the stat page is outstanding even if it is using java. It isn't slow on my end. I think the other servers need to consider using this format in their servers. This has got to be the most detailed stat system I have seen yet. I particularily like the "who is online" feature. You the man Moa!
  11. Sounds cool. I can't wait for this release! Have fun surfing.
  12. Just a heads up to everyone that Logitech just released a new Firmware update for the G940. It improves the x and y axis of the joystick. http://forums.logitech.com/t5/PC-Gaming/G940-firmware-1-42-is-now-available/td-p/542496
  13. Yeah I saw that post already. That is the file I am looking for. (The one that they didn't figure out.) I am hoping that someone may have found that file. Thanks for trying to help any ways.
  14. Does anyone know where the file is to change the location of the in game messages on the screen. I have a multi monitor setup, which causes a problem with my in game messages at their current location. I only see half of the mission message. I looked in FUI/RESOURCES, but I could not find the file. Any help would be Greatly appreciated. Thankyou
  15. Actually the stick is very comfortable where I have it. I designed it that way. I have the stick base resting comfortably on my lap. Just build the joystick extension about an inch lower than the height of your lap with your feet firmly planted on the floor. It does not interfere with your rudders at all. I have no problem with my legs moving around freely. Just having it extend out from your desk makes it more comfortable.
  16. I used all 1/2" Plywood for the sidewalls and the side shelves. I used 3/4" Plywood for everything else. You gotta remember, I used only scraps of wood I already had in my garage for this project. For what I built, I think its sturdy enough as a desk, but I wouldn't want to sit on it. I also reinforced it as well with 3/4 inch plywood underneath the side shelves. I'm glad that this project gave you some ideas as well.
  17. I am just going to mount them on either side of my schval screen. Similar to what you did with yours.
  18. In reply, 1. That will definitely come eventually. Also hope to get the Thrustmaster MFDs for Christmas which will fit in nicely. 2. Wellll, I hope what you do late in the evenings has nothing to do with my picture, even if I do look like your brother. :megalol: Just kidding, I couldn't resist. 3. Go Canucks Go!!!
  19. Well I recieved my throttle finally today. I am now back to flying the Shark and I am loving it. As you can see by the pics, I simply mounted the throttle on the side of the pit vertically. I have done this since I started flying flight sims and I totally recommend it if you like to fly helicopter sims realistically. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  20. Copy that, sounds like fun. I have already signed up in the 104th forum.
  21. I am curious, is this just a fun event, or are there some type of awards given to the winning team. Either way, I am interested as well. Sign me up as a Ka-50 pilot. (I want to be on Iraqis team though.;))
  22. Cool, Thankyou.
  23. Lol, I wish!
  24. As soon as my replacement throttle arrives, I will show you what I am going to do with that. :smilewink:
  25. Finally got my pit all setup. I could hardly wait to get home to set it all up. I am loving it!! Just need to get my replacement throttle back from Logitech, and I will be all good to go. Here are the latest pics. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
