I have the same purpose for this pit. I also have a steering wheel for racing games as well. I don't play them very often, as I mostly play Black Shark and Lockon. That is why I don't really want to make a full pit. When I saw your pit, I thought that it was perfect for my needs. I am done the pit for now, and I will be setting it up later on tonight after I get back from hunting. Thanks again. :thumbup:

Thank you guys for the kind words. This was a lot of fun to design and build. I got my inspiration from Tagges pit. I can't wait to hook it all up and start simming in my new pit.

Getting close to completion. Its nothing fancy like Triggerhappys pit or Bad CRCs pit, or any one of those other talented guys, but it is a functional multi purpose pit that will have room for much improvement. I plan on putting the TM MFDs on either side of the lower monitor one of these days. Just a few more things to do to it before I put it in the basement and hook everything up.

Hovering any helicopter in real life is a challenge and dangerous with your head down in the cockpit. In real life, pilots without autopilot stability augmentation channels,keep their eyes focused outside the helicopter when hovering. That is why the shark has autopilot stability augmentation channels. To hover with your head down in the cockpit in real life,(without the stability channels on) to acquire targets, would be insane. What you are doing may be challenging and fun in this simulation, but I am afraid you are just flying unrealistically, and you would definitely not do that in a real bird. Have fun flying unrealistically at any rate.

Here are some pics after it is all assembled. Now I am just waiting for the paint to dry so that I can put a second coat on. I plan on mounting my g940 on the left side vertically like a collective. I can also mount it on the little shelf on the left side when flying jets.

Well after looking at Tagges simpit, it gave me inspiration for my own. Here is a work in progress. I have a widescreen monitor that I use for my main screen, and a smaller 4:3 screen that I use for my schval which Ill place in the cutout. Here I am basically tring to figure out all the dimensions and where to place everything. There, managed to upload some pictures of what I started with. Sorry for the delay, had trouble posting the pictures and then I had to go to a work christmas party.

I don't get why you are experiencing this, but I have had no problem with my g940 releasing pressure when I hold down the trim button. maybe my settings are much different than yours. That would get kind of annoying hearing that constant clicking noise. Maybe you should try adjusting your settings. What I have done to overcome this is to install 2 folders of Blackshark. The one install uses Multimonitor for day flights, and the other one for NVG uses just a single monitor. I have 2 sets of Shortcuts on my desktop which points me to the setup that I want. I know it sucks, but at least you can still fly night missions if you want. I actually just thought of it this morning. I was on the 104th last night and everyone wanted to fly the night mission which I was incapable of doing which was kind of frustrating. I woke up this morning and it just popped in my head.

I was just wondering if there is a way to modify the rearm loadout in DCS Blackshark to include illumination rockets. I would like to include these in the loadout for playing in multiplayer servers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks:thumbup:

The only reason there is a latch on the throttle is for flying with single engine aircraft in other simulators. The real A-10c does not have a latch to slave them together, nor does any other twin engine jet. I always fly unlatched because that is the realistic way to do it.

I think this cockpit is looking amazing, weathered buttons and all. I disagree with bucic. I think if he wants a cockpit done his way, he should do one himself. I like the way this cockpit is progressing. Besides, this is your cockpit Ricardo. You are the Artist. Do what you feel is right. Those buttons for the CM are looking spectacular.

How is the progress coming along for this BEAUTIFUL mod. Not to sound impatient, but I cannot wait for this cockpit. I don't know why ED has not hired you to do all the pits. They are absolutely stunning. Rep inbound.

I use the G940 for Lockon and Black Shark. I love it. :joystick: I like the force feedback effects in lockon and I like the trimmer feedback in black shark. It also comes with the pedals. Another feature I like is the 3 position mode switch. I have 3 different aircraft programmed to the three different positions of the mode switch, so when I'm playing lockon, if I want to switch to a different aircraft, all I do is flip the switch to the desired aircraft setting. I recommend it. :thumbup:

I gotta say, I'm kind of tired of the, "You got mail" sound, when a new unit enters. Could the sound be something that adds to the immersion, instead of being something that takes away from it. Otherwise a good mission.

Just curious about how well the trimming in Black Shark works with the X-65. Does the stick work well with Black Shark?

Where did everybody go. Just went on the server a couple of times today, and what used to be a full server all the time, was completely empty. Is absolutely everyone playing DCS A-10c. All the servers are empty. :cry:

Reminds me of the good ole days flying the Bell-47. Constantly adjusting the throttle and the carb heat.
