Not sure about trackir 3 but with trackir 5 and its software you do what you want to do via the tir software, you select the centre, pause etc functions from the menu and then you push a keyboard button you want to assign those controls to or a button on your joystick. I have zoom mapped to my friction axes and it works perfectly, what you are experiencing is you have two things mapped to do the same things, so they are fighting each other hence the stuttering/shaking. I think the zoom problem is related to trackir, if i recall correctly you have to change the default trackir zoom axes to something else, I think thats the cause of your zoom problem, cuz i had that shaky stutter zoom problem before. Its a long time since I have had to do my binds but I am sure the zoom problem is related to. Trackir conflicting with the friction zoom. I am not sure if friction axes zoom works in external view, i cant recall using it myself as I have always used the mouse for external view zoom. If you havent fixed it by tomorrow I will jump ingame and show you what my trackir axes and warthog axes look like.

Its the same with all the modules, the manuals and the modules can be slightly or crazy wrong at times. Things get added to the modules, things get taken away and what we have left is a hybrid of sorts that nobody knows how to fully figure out. Maybe one day we will have a manual that has correct instructions and a sim that follows those instructions.

The warthog caused me to suffer from nerve problems in the hand, also the fire button trigger causes me problems aswell when pushing it. Basically I have to suffer to play with my warthog, but I dont mind aslong as I take enough breaks it isnt too bad. This is something you might want to look into as the hog is a big stick and its slghtly too big for my hands hence the pain when firing and the pins and needles like feeling when flying for too long. Just something to be aware of is all. P.S Even with the pain, I wouldnt stop using the hog and go back to my x52.

Agreed, i got a huge shock also when i decided to ram an oncomng jeep, flipped me right over. I know that if youre in a plane and land on a road, the traffic will drive through you without any problems, but if you try driving through them you get killed and I really didnt expect it to have a similar effect with ground vehicles, albeit it you dont blow up you just get knocked for 6 instead. It really was a WTF moment when it first happened to me, I have now learned to avoid traffic at all costs.

Actually that is what happened. i have a different username login for the dcs website than I do have for this website. when I noticed the missing dcs a10c key I couldnt understand where it had gone. After thinking things through and nearly pulling teeth in the process I decided to type in bumfire in the dcs website but using the SAME password as my normal dcs login. I never created a dcs website login with that username, ok granted I did use that username when I first went multi on dcs a10c, but until the 1.2.4 patch everything was in the one account, when I updated the key went missing. Me trying to login to the dcs website with username bumfire but with the same pw as my normal account was a fluke on my part as I knew I had never made a dcs website account with that name, but lo and behold their was one, ok reading your post I see how it happened but it really shouldnt of happened, especially since previous to 1.2.4 they were altogether and after the patch the key was missing. I had ABSOLUTELY no idea that keys could be moved between different accounts, another fluke that I came across. Its fixed now so thats the main thing and I will know for future reference if the key or keys decide to go walkabout again.

Yea, I did goto that page and also the myserials page but my a10c serial was missing from the myserials webpage. For some unknown reason my a10 key transferred to a different username account. Once found, unbind then activated again and now the key is home with all the other keys. I tell ya, what a weird ass setup.

figured it out. my website login username is different to the one i use ingame, but for some reason the a10c module key had been moved to the ingame name instead. Basically ed had decided to create a new account for me using my ingame name, and thats where my a10c key was. It wasnt in myserials page under my proper username, it was in a totally new account. ahwell, its sorted now.

In module manager next to dcs a10c is the words buy, and in the other module manager page a10 is installed but no serial is there. I can fly dcs a10c in single player no problem, it just wont let me go multi, as it says invalid serial when trying to login. I think whats happened is my dcs a10 key has been disassociated with my account, because when you login it signs into eds servers and lists all your keys, so something has probably happened on their end ? I never used steam to buy dcs a10c, all my purchases were done via the website and all my keys are visible on the dcs website. I have made a ticket so we shall see how it goes.

I have the same problem you do freefall, in module manager all my keys are there except DCS A10C. I can play single player fine, but when I try to log into MP, all I get is Invalid Serial. On the DCS website, all my serials are visible including dcs a10c, so I cant understand why the serial is missing from the module manager. I also uninstalled and deleted the keys from the registry and tried all over, a10c activated but STILL it shows as NO KEY in the module manager and I still cannot login to MP. This is a PITA.

I was trying to fly online yesterday and when logging in it would error out and say Invalid Serial. So I went into single player and then module manager, I looked at all my serials and found that DCSA10C serial was missing, and under the addons tab, it had next to it Buy, instead of installed like all my other modules have. I then went to the dcs website and logged in using the same user and pass as I use ingame and all my serials were present on the website. However ingame dcs a10c serial is missing from the module manager and It wont allow me to play online. It seems that my a10 serial has been disassociated with my account, even though dcs a10c is installed and i can fly the 10c in single player no problem. So I did a repair install, but the serial was still missing, so I then uninstalled the sim completely and reinstalled and still the same problem. I have purchased a10c, p51, fc3, bs2 and combined arms all from the same account and I cannot understand why this has happened. It was working ok on 1.2.3, so the problem must of happened during either upgrade or maybe has something to do with the april payment problem? I dont know. But whatever is happening, it seems that Ed's servers have disassociated my a10c key from my account, because all the other keys show up but the a10s doesnt when logging into the module manager and when in their is has BUY next to dcs a10c 1.2.4 download version. Does anyone have any ideas whats happened ? As I have dcs world, blackshark 2, p51, combined arms and fc3. could I not go online in MP with them or do you need a10c as a minimum to go online in MP, because with my missing a10c serial, I also cannot login to MP as I keep getting an Invalid Serial error.

I remember when i first got fc3 a week or two ago noticing that on takeoff in the f15 my wheels were half buried into the runway. Still managed to takeoff and I am 99% positive that it was at sochi this happened, as when messing about I always pick sochi cuz I think its a great field with two coast routes and a nice mountain route through the vallies. Cant recall if it was pre or post patch 124 that I noticed this.

You can disable auto gears.

FPS killer for me is firing rocket salvos, in mid flight the game will go down to single digits fps wise or basically stop altogether, then go back to normal and then the rockets impact. They have to fix either the rockets smoke trail or whatever as this really is a show stopper and has been like this with 1.2.3 aswell. Ever tried firing a salvo of rockets at a ground target at 0-2 fps ? Then suddenly the game kicks back into life and you are 50 metres away from the deck in a dive when you previously were 300m before the fps took a dive after firing a rocket salvo. Brand new clean install of 1.2.4, not an update, and it was also happening in 123 aswell. I fly ground attack 90% of the time using the su25/T and its a must to carry rockets, esp in the vanilla frog but with this bug/problem its getting to the point where i wont carry them because its likely to cause major problems like finding yourself about to kiss the ground after the screen freezes and comes back to life, just because of rockets.

Reading all the posts, it seems that those whose tranfers look to be successful BUT might not be are those who used paypal. IF the problem is with Sage pay, the company that ed uses for transactions, if they had a problem which by the looks of it they did, then those who used paypal, sage will have connected to them and took said funds from your account and then not passed it onto ED, its either on hold or somewhere on sages systems. I personally after buying a second copy after getting the email called my credit card company last night and with what they told me, no transaction ever took place except the one from yesterday. So to me, it looks like sage and paypal have messed up, or possibly just paypal ? Has anyone who straight up used their credit or debit card like me and not used paypal had money taken from their account ?

Just called Credit Card company and they can confirm that NO payment at all was taken OR put on hold on the 17th April for Eagle Dynamics or The Fighter Collection. Although one payment for the Fighter Collection is pending and that was the second purchase I made today. I got the lady on the phone to list all debits from the card from april 1st onwards and the fighter collection is only listed on one payment and thats for today, but its still to be taken off their system within 24 hours. So by the looks of it ED's email is correct and those that are having problems with Paypal, its probably just the way paypal works, they will probably find that their money will be returned soon. So it looks like sage pay messed up ???

Rgr, will get a ticket going once i hear from cc company and only if the money has been taken twice, if not everything is good.
