Some news surfaces from the Sonalysts (aka makers of Fleet Command and Dangerous Waters): a new engine is almost completed. The bad side: the first release is not a simulation (see article by N. Stevens) The good side: the new engine means that later on (just a matter of time) a new sim or naval RTS sim will appear. Reference Subsim

When I bought my Samsung SSD it did also include tools towards cloning. I (tried to) use it and I can say that it was a pita and from the google research done at that time, it didn´t look so good, but heck, I´m sure there are some for whom it worked.

Go to devices and check the status (..visualization green bar..) If not ok: calibrate, if ok go to axis menu in game, select the throttle and change to slider or play with the options until ok

The profile is really old, I´m not sure it works. But still: In the current DCS version you can save the profile anywhere, it doesn`t matter. Just to make sure I understand correctly: when you search the file you can´t find it? I downloaded also the file I seeing it is not a problem even with the current version. Maybe a imac/bootcamp problem?
