  1. After sending my original defective Reverb back, I bought a Rift S and although impressive, I was still constantly tweaking- chasing an image that wasn't possible. After a month I sent the Rift back and ordered a new HP. Huge improvement in clarity. The difference between almost there and definitely good enough for me. Consequently, I haven't kept up with this thread. Is Steam SS still supposed to be set at 180% (nearest I can get to native res). I seem to remember people were lowering this value to 100%.
  2. This fixed my eye strain problems with Reverb. Thanks.
  3. Well, I've not enjoyed the sim as much since they disabled the option due to it being almost impossible for me to maintain a stable framerate. I'm not being critical, I just think it's a fair suggestion.
  4. Give us the option to turn off deferred shading again perhaps? Easier said than done I'm sure, but still....
  5. Same problem here with the random flickering in either eye. Very annoying. I'm going to sit it out for now though. Hopefully it is a software issue. Edit- This doesn't happen in 60hz mode.
  6. I operate my two BK's through windows 10. Go to Sound Control Panel- Right click Recording- Hit Show disabled devices-Right click Stereo Mix and enable-Right click Stereo Mix again-Properties-Listen-Tick Listen to this device-Select second soundcard from drop down list-Apply-OK-Hit playback tab-Check both soundcards are enabled-Properties-Check second sound card has volume- Should be good to go. This works very well, albeit with a little delay. These settings can reset after Windows Updates. I have found that disabling and re-enabling the second sound card in the Sound Control Panel fixes this.
  7. Does anyone know of a workaround for the mouse pointer? I keep having to press Windows key and Y to get it to work.
  8. Great news. Mine arrives tomorrow. I'm new to WMR-Bit confused as to what PD I should set in game and what SS to set in Steam VR. Any suggestions?
  9. I managed to download Nevada at a friends by signing in and installing the whole sim onto a portable drive then copying the relevant files across onto my home pc. Perhaps you could do this will the entire DCS folder followed by a repair if needed.
