Appreciated. Thanks.

The run in debug mode was already ticked and does nothing when I uncheck/re-check it in the VA window. I have dropped the AIRIO d11 into the extensions folder alongside Chatter and then tried importing the commands through the edit profile in VA. However, when I point VA to the extensions folder it is empty. Chatter and AIRIO are there if I access it through My Computer though. My scripts Export lua below if relevant. local SimShakerlfs=require('lfs'); dofile(SimShakerlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/SimShaker.lua') dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[scripts\SimShaker-export-core\ExportCore.lua]]) pcall(function() local dcsSr=require('lfs');dofile(dcsSr.writedir()..[[Mods\Services\DCS-SRS\Scripts\DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone.lua]]); end,nil);

I'm still getting nowhere with this. I have run repairs on DCS, uninstalled Vaicom, reset luas etc. I cannot get Vaicom to communicate with DCS. I installed aerio, although I cannot import the commands through VA.

Just tried it too. No joy.

I did a recent Windows re-install and didn't re-download DCS, so there is no registry entry. The sim works straight off my DCS SSD. My Viacom however, while it recognises my commands in VA, does not work in game and the aircraft does not show in the PTT screen. I have set the custom path, registry fix and deleted the export LUA in the scripts folder but nothing works. Is this due to lack of DCS on Windows registry?

I have been getting fairly regular Steam VR crashes for around a month. I was due a full Windows re-install and did the whole lot including Steam last weekend. Steam VR is still occasionally crashing while playing DCS.

100% agree.

Same here. Left earphone was intermittent then stopped working altogether and I’m also getting flashes and sparkles. It’ll be going back when my G2 arrives. Hopefully the two years limited warranty will cover it.

I've been having an issue since the recent update. I get regular white flashes across the HMD and the FPS momentarily jumps up to the mid fifties from 45, though not always at the same time. Reprojection is enabled in Steam VR. I could have sworn I was getting really good performance after the big update, but things may have dropped off after the small update last week.

I have had some major issues with NSEQ recently. Having set up the ingrs and egrs wpts and then exited data mode, box NSEQ and the new route looks fine. Box DESG to get that out of the way and proceed with mission. Soon after take off the right MFD which I use for the EHSD puts itself into DMT TV mode. The buttons on the MFD will then not respond and the TV/LST display cannot be exited. I have experienced this multiple times. Any ideas?

Thanks for the link.

I pre-ordered from System Active, the UK seller. I'm not usually so impulsive and I'm now a little concerned as the money has been taken out of my account. I was expecting that to happen shortly prior to shipping. Has anyone used them before?

I'm beginning to feel this way too. The carrot has fallen off the stick for me. Fingers crossed we see some measurable improvements this month.
-
This solved my problem. The tracking has driven me nuts over the past ten months. I'm very, very pleased.
-
Ok' I'll give it a go. Cheers

I'm having some of these stability issues too. I can be looking forward and the view drifts off in a random direction. Have also noticed jittery menus and flashes.
-
I found the same. Shadows grind my system to a halt. The sim looks terrible without them though. Particularly the cockpit. I hope ED manage to fix this, or at least have a static shadow option for the pit to get rid of all the shimmering on the dials etc.

How do you get ASW working with the new Steam Beta for WMR?
oz555 replied to joebloggs's topic in Virtual Reality
I never unboxed the WMR controllers and can't get my Xbox controller to do anything with the Steam VR home/mountain hut place so I don't see this dashboard you speak of. Do I continue to comment out the appropriate auto line in the CFG file or the let Steam VR manage line followed by the settings in the basic Steam VR settings window. Confused again.. -

A long shot, but I had particularly dire FPS recently and found the cause to be my RAM XMP profile wasn't set properly. Generally though, after four years of fettling I'm starting to wonder whether DCS in VR will ever reach fruition. Unfortunately as I'm sure you appreciate, there's no going back to a monitor. As far as I can tell, The hardware just can't keep up with the demands and the demands are demanded. No end in sight to this paradigm...

Yup, that did it. Thanks.

I have an issue with Viacom. For some reason it is disabling the role selection screen in all my multi AC missions. SP is fine, MP including role selection is fine, but all local multi aircraft mission role selection screens are entirely absent upon loading. If I close Viacom and repair DCS everything returns to normal upon repeated restarts of DCS. If I open Viacom again it reverts to corrupted. This problem also effects the mission editor. If I place one AC the mission is flyable. I If I place multiple then all "flyable" AC are entirely absent.

I have experienced this behaviour a few times. Potentially I put it down to overloading the USB's, as I was charging a few devices at the time.
-
Same here. Terrible performance. Incredible map detail though so looking forward to it becoming VR optimized. I also noticed how fast it feels at low altitude. More like what I would expect a fast jet to feel like.

Cheers for the explanation.
