  2. Greetings folks! For the past few months we have been building a new state of the art dedicated server machine. We are at the phase where we are ready to do some public testing. So. With the recent change of command we are going to be restarting the 104th dedicated server thread so that we can make changes to the OP with out having to bother 104th_Maverick who has retired! This is now the place to come for up to date info on the 104th dedicated server! Currently in the works are many many mission remakes, taking advantage of new to us scripting techniques, and including various mission types, and rules. We are also only weeks away from bringing a NEW server machine online, once again hosted out of a dedicated data center in the eastern United States. We spared no expense, and you can expect a premier experience once its online. Please feel free to ask questions, make suggestions, or report mission bugs below! We will soon be opening our private discord group to the public to facilitate the same functionality also.   6. Just a clarification for everyone. You will not be locked to your aircraft of choice, but we will use your aircraft choice in an attempt to gauge how many of each airframe we need in the mission. Cheers, Fallen

  8. We will proceed with 2000z unless there is an outspoken majority against it.| There is also presently an issue with the Aim-54 not giving a launch warning on RWR's when it goes active. If this bug is not hot fixed prior to the event, there is a near 100% chance it will be disallowed. We are open to the idea of an 80's style fox-1 mission, but only if its not a deal breaker for those already signed up. Sorry for the heavy handed decision, but undetectable 80nm active missiles is a little too game breaking ;)

  15. Would be in favor of a subscription service, ONLY if it meant hiring additional developers to work steadily on core game mechanics that are outdated, and in keeping existing products current and it good working order. Think this idea has merit tbh.
  16. Were the 104th Phoenix bud, We have not had an Aim-54 kill in like six SATAL matches now? High level squads have obviously figured out how to defend against the aim-54 with a high level of effectiveness. The aim-54 was OP on release due to the desync that made notching it near impossible with out pure luck. and lots of it. This seems to be less of an issue now, and notching the phoenix, and spoofing with CM's has become much easier.
  17. I would direct you to the first post of this thread. Your welcome to contribute to the pack if you feel you can improve on the patch. The idea has always been to provide framework for skin makers to apply their own custom roughmets to planes that previously did not have them. Further more, I would argue that your assertion that all paint is glossy is flawed. I've been around f15s, kc135s, and f16s for most of my life. And more recently f22s. They are not shiny, they are indeed very matte.

  19. Patch updated to V1.4 today. Changelog: Su27, Su33, and J11 received new roughmet maps, much more realistic looking. Old roughmet New roughmet.
  20. Pack updated to V2.3 Today: Changelog: Removed F86 Saber roughmet files, was causing to fail IC with the inclusion of those files as standard from ED now. Added F15C NG "Fallen", my personal F15 Livery.
  21. Patch updated to V1.3 today. The old versions will cause you to fail MP IC checks for the F86 Sabre, as ED includes roughmet files by default for that AC now. Chagelog: Removed unnecessary F86 textures.
  22. Well folks, it finally happened around the time the F14 launched. Our official texture pack has exceeded the maximum size allowed by the DCS user files section! As a result, we have had to host our texture pack on MediaFire. Check back for updates every once in awhile, I tend to make changes/additions to the pack at least once a month. updates will be paired with a change log on this thread. I recommend a mod manager for this mod as it includes some files that will make manual installation a bit of a nightmare.   23. Patch updated to V1.2 CHANGELOG: -ADDED F-15C Roughmet's made by TheNikPlay aka TEXAC. With his permission we are honored to include these professional standard roughmets for the F15 into the patch.

  25. This line of thinking renders this Module all but useless for public multiplayer servers. I LOVE this product, Ive been looking forward to it since it was teased with the hornet. There is simply no way that this module can enter mainstream use online with this stipulation, it will divide the multiplayer base even farther, as there is no reasonable way for us, as server admins, to expect ALL of the public that fly regularly on our server to purchase this module to be able to enter our server. No one is expecting it for free, but i feel that its reasonable to expect compatibility between people who own, and do not own the assets. Surely you can program this in such a way that only the basic carrier functions are enabled for people who do not own it so that it does not break compatibility.
