  1. Test Track and Mission 2 AI vehicles going from off-road (railroad tracks) to on-road, turn onto side road and instead of following road they go off road and stop well short of their DP. Seems like there is an issue with the roads or AI in general, this was not an issue in 1.2.6 and this needs to be fixed asap. test_veh.trk TEST_VEH.miz

  3. In 1.2.7 AI vehicles do not keep their interval when driving on road as they did in 1.2.6. At times AI vehicles will not stay on road even when given the On-road route via ME. Maybe an issue with objects (buildings) being to close to the roads. This bug has made many missions unplayable and really hurt using AI vehicles from point to point. I can provide video or screenshots if needed. Complete fresh new install of 1.2.7 on new gaming rig.
  4. SPOILER: The two jeeps transport the escape detainees to a location for helo pickup. A MI-24 comes in and picks up the detainees, you are given orders not to fire on the helo and to keep distance. You follow the helo to the location for intel (for bigger fish to fry in future missions). A UAV marks the helo with IR designation the entire flight to help keep tabs on the fast helo. Once the helo lands, and coordinates received, you are given the green light to destroy the awaiting troops, MI-24, and escaped detainees. Pretty cool ending, with credits, etc. RTB to Kutaisi.
  5. ED screwed up the AI driving in this patch, cant do much more, the ATC thing I can't reproduce.

  8. I have noticed ai vehicles bunching up in this patch and not keeping their interval compared to 1.2.6.

  10. Klunker, you were 100% right, for whatever reason the AI refused to go on the road or past a certain point off road in the area near the big building. I tweaked the mission and played, works all the way through. The IR designation by AI at the end is also working, dont want to spoil too much for ya! Main page post updated, with Single Player (SP) Version 2 & also HERE. Thanks again for all the kind words, I am tweaking the MP version tonight and should be posted in about 1 hour.
  11. Thanks for the kind words, I will troubleshoot Suse tonight. I am working on a a10 version of happy bus but it might need to be broken into multiple missions for sp. The triggers are set to certain helos so it make take some time. Did the two trucks make it to a dead end road and stop?

  13. Hey surgeon, due to the side missions an A-10C version only would be pretty rough and the last trigger in Part 2 not possible (must have a Huey). I will look into it, but no promises at this time.

  15. Suspension and weight distribution are off (did not tweak), but LOD, collision model, and destruction model functional. On to creation of up-armored HMMWVs, Technicals, & MRAPPS! Special thanks to luckybob09 and edgepilot who gave great advise!
  16. I do have a question about creating the collision.edm file. It seems that most vehicle models have a collision.edm file but I cannot open it in Model Viewer, I get a shaderfx error. Any advise?

  23. FIXED! Damn LWIN key was mapped to Sweetfx key shaders key, remapped to another key, problem is gone.
  24. The START menu is not popping up in game, but I thought that might have been the problem (menu popping up in background). I may try switching keyboards, hope that helps.
  25. Hey guys, For some reason when I push LWIN key in game the sim freezes for 1-2 secs. I have tried using an Autokey setup so the START menu does not pull up when the key is pushed. The Autokey worked and the START menu does not come up, but the sim still pauses for 1-2 secs when the keyy is pushed. Unfortunately, DCS World uses the LWIN key in many commands, so I am worried about changing this key to something else. Anyone have any suggestions to fix this?
