The monitor won't impact your performance per-say unless you extend DCS to run across it... that said ... the apps you run on that monitor *might* impact your performance depending on what they are for example having many large documents open in say Chrome might have a performance impact, because it will take CPU cycles and memory and depending on how you have chrome set up it may also impact your GPU performance...

Unfortunately I had to ditch the base, which was awesome, as the winwing grip is incompatible with the virpil base . That sad I have been very impressed with the winwing base and stick, different design philosophy very precise and very light.

So... One you are currently single you can Google whatever you want! Two, the fit on the F16 Stick is fine and works well,. Three, i don't know about the replacement, but I just went to winwing,after much ummjng and ahing, because I couldn't find a virpil grip I would get on with... The closest fit was the constellation alpha.

From memory, you might want to try making sure the api ordering is right, openxr toolkit should be installed first I think You can check the ordering and move the layers with https://github.com/fredemmott/OpenXR-API-Layers-GUI/releases/tag/v2024.01.17

no issues here on the Varjo Aero... any hint of settings .. or track ? I know some people are having issues with certain Oculus software so that might be a factor ?

Just encountered the same, you can land if you get the timing right... is there anyway to script it so the next event does not start?

It also prevents driver updates and restart notifications, as well as trying to de-prioritise non-game processes...

This may be a better overview TLDR ... to expensive , and quality control issues ... at 400USD ... you would be better off buying something that focused on being a joystick first , and less "Gucci"

Lower your settings see if you have the same problem... Start with the default vr settings in dcs

it's quite likely your hardware is not up to the challenge of driving a Valve Index .. and that either a CPU, GPU or even memory bottle neck is causing these "flutters" , i would suggest dropping dowen a number of steps , try the default VR settings to begin with and go from there... I would certainly recommend upgrading to 32GB of RAM , you don't say what CPU you have
