nope .. its something to do with the way DCS renders images as i understand it... and requires a change, you will still get it but itis much fainter, its worst at night landing on the carrier ... when you are on deck the runway lights appear like big bright squares ...

there is already a bug opened on this

you can minimise it by turning of Camera Lens Effects, specifically Flare... but it will still be there, ED needs to make changes to the code in order for this "not" to be a problem

ok when i kiss him off early ASAP he always goes ... to be fair i haven't tried kissing him off late ... so it could still be placebo, on my first run through i kissed him off just as i was going into my break ... so i would have been right over the middle of Nellis ..

the reason the rpc is unavailable for the power plan is you have disabled power.msc...

same as me , i do use them in the other VR "game" on steam only as well .. for mouse control i just bind a button on my Razer Tartus, that is mapped to both center the mouse on the screen and and depress the appropriate buttons if i need to hit a switch i don't have mapped .. using Hand controllers in DCS is a bit like beating your self with scorpions ... only not as fun ..

yes you can just change the ID so you dont have to remap in DCS... but i would also recommend Holdi601/JoystickProfiler: Joystick Profiler Utility (github.com) which enables you to do joystick remaps with ease... to avoid this problem and also enable migrations and standardisation in the future

The monitor won't impact your performance per-say unless you extend DCS to run across it... that said ... the apps you run on that monitor *might* impact your performance depending on what they are for example having many large documents open in say Chrome might have a performance impact, because it will take CPU cycles and memory and depending on how you have chrome set up it may also impact your GPU performance...

Unfortunately I had to ditch the base, which was awesome, as the winwing grip is incompatible with the virpil base . That sad I have been very impressed with the winwing base and stick, different design philosophy very precise and very light.
