Somehow it just works again. Had just a quick freeflight test. There's a slight standy-rumbling inflight in the predefined effects. It's good but will it cause trouble in long time use this way? Soundmodel payware doesnt bring any advantages to Jeatset owners right?

Thanks! Using your hint I can find the jeatseat handler and the UWVeditor. But no SSA. Starting SSA normally even brings a framework error now. Framework is up to date.

Tried to fire up jetseat and sim aviator since a long time again. Never had any problems but now I cant get it to work anymore? Any hints where to start?

Looks like you had similar goals. I ordered 2 Monstertech Mounts and a Mit freundlichen Grüßen Extension to ease 80% of my pain. Looking at my setup (IKEA desk and DIY simchair made of aluminum sheaths and a racing seat) I needed a proper place for Throttle and most of all Stick. As you said. Hotas on desk is no joy and perhaps one of the main reason I procastrinated playing/learning/relearning DCS. Monstertech is cheaper and way faster than Obutto and now I can enjoy the winter. The Monstertech clamps also have quick releases. I like that. They are already being shipped. I just need to modify my simchair (unscrew the wheel mount) so I can sit higher compared to my desk. Then all my worst problems (stick position, relative TIR5 position, uncomfortable „WASD-Position“) should be fine. The speedmaster would be no improvement for me other than better asthetics compared to my DIY mess. Not worth changing I guess ;) Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk

Yea Im curious too. Obutto seems to have very long production time :( This one reminds me of my DIY simsetup (bought it from a talented DIY racing guy). My setup is extremly sturdy but ugly as hell and doesnt work very good with my table. But the worst thing about it is that I have my HOTAS on the table and this really sucks. Hey guys! Thank you so much for the detailed answers! Highschool appreciated! I think I bought the WAP for the MFG pedals. I did dig the old confirmation mail and it says I also ordered cam5 and wap. Gotta look for those wap tomorrow. First I thought I wouldnt need the acrylic tables but I guess I ll order those now. Are the already screen holes in the Hotas mounts or do you need to find a fixing solution yourself? Do you guys use a Warthog extension? And if yes which and how long? Do you use multiple TFTs? Obutto R3volution - is it worth the money? I need a multi genre solution. I need a setup for flying and WASD-Games (FPS, Strategy). Decent capabilities for typing and racing sims would be a plus. You are right Vivoune. And I would only need it a bit better to enjoy it in DCS. The exteriour is way good enough. Even with low settings now because of Vive req. But it's not enough to fly with complex systems and it's not enough for WW II Aircraft as spotting (and identifying) is horrible I guess. Just tried FSX with Flyinside. While Vive recognition and head tracking is flawless readability and cockpit grafics are even worse then in DCS. I can't read the menus and I cant read instruments. Im really disappointed with my Vive when it comes to flight sims which I would have thought it is it's strong point. The grafics in the typical vive games games is sufficent but they arent as long motivating as Sims.

yeeeeaaa! Well, I had to look up R3E means Raceroom which I also know only by name. Im no expert concerning Race games but I used to play lot of LFS years ago. The makers of LFS may also be the most helpful guys if you want to get in touch with the devs. Most popular right now seem to be Dirty Rally, Project Cars and AC. DR would be great because VR is almost back there and effects would be better for a rally game as for street racing. Project Cars seems to have a big player base and the got VR support this week. AC has no VR support so far :/

Is it just me? In any other VR game I don't experience such a loss of readability and grafics quality like with the Vive in DCS. (side note: Immersion bonus on the other hand is way better than in other genres)

Target really intimidates me but maybe it would pay off to learn the basics once. However Id prefer a full set of profiles out of one hand. Hey Polaris, just a question. Really just quesiton - no critism. What made you prefer ingame setup over target gui?

The immersion factor is really huge. But so is grafics downgrade. :( I also have another problem. I see planes in my sight double very often. This is because of the big performance gap between my two eyes One is almost eagle-like the other one is on 40-50% making the other eye lead so much I often have two visions at once using certain visual hardware like the vive or binoculars

I must say Vive immersion is awesome! However, image quality is worse than expected. Especially in DCS where it's most important (spotting, reading hud/instruments). Everything is way to blurry and everything slightly off the center is way worse. DCS also crashes/freezes a lot. Do you recommend 1.5 or 2?
