I just dont make it exporting the Mig21 Radar. To keep the beginning easy I started to export it on a 1 Monitor setup first. I have a modified 1 monitor selected where following lines were added RP22 = { x = 599; y = 1360; with = 179; height = 179; } With all this the radar is in the dogfight instant mission no more illuminated like it used to be so something seems to be working. But no radar info on screen. I installed the scooternutz files via OvGME. I also tried moving the RADAR folder to a newly created Scripts folder as other modules seem to have them in a dedicated scripts folder. This made my radar to at least disappear in 3D cockpit but that's it. Where can I look into it?

The ExportScripts lack the Mig19. Mig15 and Mig21 are available. Any idea where to get an export script for the Mig19 and how to add to the ExportScripts library?

Those tips come handy Andy! I hope I ll find useful profiles for my beloved and Mig 19 and 21. At least sth to build on. However, guess it‘s hard to tell whether a profile is good until you tried it yourself

Finally my streamdeck xl has arrived. Now I did have a more detailed lookat ctylers great plugin. This time I am even more impressed. As a twice VR quitter streamdeck in combination with this awesome tool this seems to blow out everything out of the water. It‘s insane! However, as far as I have understood you can get icons from ctylers releases but no profiles or ready to map profiles, right? There are streamdeck profiles in other threads here but as a streamdeck noob: Are they always compatible? Do they all depend on the same export script like ctyler script? Like..... ctylers script is „just“ the (awesome) editor/authoring software and the final results dont need the scripts anymore? Sorry for my lack of understanding :(

My vote is for the Kiowa. Alpenwolf will make sure it’s used in a sensible way. We are far from a completely accurate CW environment anyway

Exactly Gizzy, that’s it. The only real downside of discord for me. Using Ucr AND Interception just for this. For the rest UCR is not good enough for me. Sorry for highjacking. Stopping now ;)

do you guys have a special trick to prevent same button number on different devices (virtual or real) to prevent interferences? For example Push to mute, Toggle to mute etc in Discord is activated no matter if I use Warthog trottle, Warthog Stick or Button Box. The best way so far is mapping the button to a (non present) key. But its cumbersome as I need also a way to block this key.

Thanks Gizzy and Speed of heat! This is great input. Tried a lot of tools incl virtual devices but they often annoyed me. I’m motivated now to dig deep in again and now even deeper. As my stream deck is still shipping... is it sensible to use two plugins for DCS as this here and the one you mentioned both sound great

I also have Voiceattack and Vaicom Pro and after two failed attempts I tried again few weeks ago and made it by upgrading to WinPro and setting Windows to english. Didn’t know it can also be a tool to get more out of my devices in general

Well yea, I know it has different technical reasons but from a user‘s perspective it’s just another indicator you can’t always rely on what you see in DCS. Didn’t know it should be reported though

Yea much of it is true. Still, DCS shows strange behaviour sometimes. F.ex. aircraft popping OUT when zooming in even further. As I said, I suck at finding - even in real life (PPL) but I see more in IL2 BOX and I _think_ I saw more on my old monitor. I need to keep an eye on it (haha!) before I can conclude. Phil Styles video, several threads and even gifs about this issue at least make me pay attention to the subject

Wow! Awesome tool. Ordered a stream deck xl. Can’t wait to try out. Way better than my crappy DSD Button Box. Anyway, would it be even possible to make another device like the DSD Button Box mappable within tool like Target or Streamdeck software? Guess I need another software for that. Too bad Autohotkey doesn’t support games so it’s tough to get help using this solution

Used to play on a 1920x1080 and always sucked at seeing and id–ing aircraft in flightsims. VR was even worse so after upgrading to vive pro was still not enough I finally went back to TrackIR. Nice for my FPS at least and I gifted myself a 49inch with 1440 vertically. Finding planes went down the drain completley for me since then. Yesterday I did. Somerset tests baut strangly there was not so much of a difference between 5xxx x 1440 and 1920x1080 used on a 7nm distant F5. Andy more ideas on this topic?

Alpen! Mission was great fun yesterday! Even managed to get kills, land, rearm etc.... if I can do it anybody can :D One fight was legendary. Hunted a Huey in my 21 together with my friend in a KA50. Man! He was soooo hard to detect and if I wanted to come in on him with some comfortable space he got lost every time. Managed to blow a R3S into him while he hovered the ground and added 55 bullets - still he flew. (My friend added some more) When I came back to finish the job he fell out of low alt because he ran out of fuel LOL. Just before I pulled the trigger. The city next to the airstrip is a great place to hide for helos. Was great fun. Kudos to the Huey Jockey

Nothing to add. It’s great to look for new tricks but in the long run it’s great you always aim for a immersive battlefield
