I only flew Mig21 on Cold War so far. Great server. I wonder if the viggens get full featured mission dics?

I give it up for now and will finally learn the viggen which is in my hangar for sooo long. It always works in the Nevada GBU instant action mission but on no MP server. I was on several and they all had WPs. Most of the time I couldn’t mover the piper after SOIing to HUD. I even had more strange moments: once I even couldn’t fire in even ccip only. When pressing weapon release I got a falling line in HUD but no bomb was dropped. At the same time I instantly dropped bombs when I was in CCRP. However, several times I had a lock via MFD but no gbu was released when Counter went to zero and weapon release was pressed. In all cases I checked master arm, laser, Hard Point Energy. I don’t get it as others seem to almost have no problems

Thank you very much Harker! Yes, I mapped the FOV to the throttle pinkie which was unused afaik. DonI need to set a WP in my F16 then or is it required to be done by mission maker? I thought the slewed TGP Piper generates a WP. At least I have seen in a Video that it overwrites existing WPs

Hi, I failed to drop the GBUs in CCRP 3 times on random servers although watching several videos. They were mostly dumbfired or not released at all. Also, I never could use the CCCRP Pipper in HUD when SOId to HUD. Often enough even the falling line didn’t move when slewing the TGP. Then I tried the original SP AG mission for the F16 and it instantly worked. Are there (still) issues like „WP needed“ it sth like this? Also, would you recommend using the default Warthog profile? I just remapped the Stick Pinkie because I always use it as a modifier. Just want to know if I miss out sth important this way. (TDC is modded)

It’s a Cooler Master Silent Pro MII. I bought the computer in 2013. Guess the model is from 2012. on the PSU casing is „720W“ in very big letters

Sorry for the 4x4 GB confusion. I’m stuck adding more without replacing the given RAM for other old RAM if I want more. I like to be able to use wireless adapter without artifacts. The wireless adapter relies heavily on CPU. I’d play wired but there is no good solution for my Vive Pro to change easily. Plus I think my system is very slow in DCS. Even with rather low settings I don’t get decent FPS in DCS. Single core speed wouldn’t be that much higher as would expect it to be after 6 years between CPU generations but it looks like newer CPU generations add more to performance than just core speed. Really difficult task :/

Hey, I have a i7 4770k @ 4GHZ but if I got it right even a i5 9600kf would be a great boost for DCS. I could also use the boost for the wireless adapter for my Vive pro. The cpu is too bad for it. Also I’m limited to my 4x4 GB on my old Z87-A mainboard. My GPU is a 1080ti OC, the SSDs from various years but System ssd is from 2013. PSU has 720W. What CPU,RAM and Mainboard would you recommend? Should I also change System SSD (DCS is on a newer SSD).

Played with F-14 vs Friend in SU 33 on a private server with a quickly created mission. However, I couldn’t switch to RIO seat to replace Jester by using one of the 2 keys on the KB. Even tried to map occupy RIO seat to stick. No difference. What’s going on? Also, is there a way to deactivate Jester so my friend has better chances to win?

Hey there, although using not all of my USB ports, a powered USB hub, an additional usb port card with mainboard connector I can’t get a stable environment. Only the last re-plugged devices seem to work reliably. Others often stay undetected after boot (rare) or stop working here and there. Sure, using Warthog, Vive pro, a metal keyboard with two usb connectors, a mouse, a jet seat, sometimes even a button board uses a lot of bus and electrical power but other than leaving off button board and even jet seat I don’t know what to do. Any ideas where to start? Could it be the PSU?

Thank you Hollywood_315 ! I ll admit I didnt have too much time with both manuals. But when going through roughly it felt like most stuff is not yet important for me. I struggled with the basics. Even with basics like radios and radio tools work in DCS and what is important, Same for combining all those tools like discord, TS3 plugins etc in usefull warthog and VA profiles. Another reason was the annoying messingaround with windows speech settings all over the place andgoing through the boring speech recognition twice. Especially as a Dad - time is valueable :P I ll try to go through again. I also prefer sticking to english. My DCS as well as Steam is set to english too. Its just Win itself which I prefer in german. Beside that I want to take advantage of the work others did and offer. No need to do all by myself. Going to test with microphone of headset plus microphone of my Vive pro tonight again, My confidence level gets better. But what about the needed settings in Win. They dont matter? Also speech recognition test was always in german. No matter how hard I tried :( So most time went into basics instead of getting known to VA and VAICOM. I ll try harder.

Can you merge profiles? I'd like to merge the VAICOM plugin (so also profile I guess) with this one. Unexperienced VA/VAICOM user here (absolute beginner)

Bought and installed VA and Vaicom Pro. Installation seems ok but I’m overwhelmed by getting into it even with manual. First I guess I need to find out WHAT I need and then how to do it. (Using DCS radio options, Discord, SRS/Uradio, TS for the plugins for SRS/UR, discord plus those two tools) Two major issuesto start with: Looks like somehow my german windows still doesn’t like my english after two german voice trainings and installed english voice support for win 10. My confidence level is always 20-40. Another thing: the Vaicom preset doesn’t seem to be helpful or I get it wrong. Does it even have commands for the nummeric radio menu? I ll go through your tips when back at the computer (and the linked thread) Yesterday I made an serious attempt to advance but I already had a hard time getting a good confidence level after my two speech learning run-throughs. Mostly 40-60. Sometimes even lower. Maybe it’s because of my bonus-problem (german windows but english DCS and english VA - I wouldn’t like to change any of these). I have installed english language pack only Win 10 home but it looks like I’m missing sth. Tried to follow some instructions of Elite Dangerous Users but it loooks like you need Win 10 pro. I also missed a lot of commands in the Vaicom list. Looks like it’s almost for AI planes only which I never play with. I missed service commands like open radio menu or sth else. Now I have Voiceattack and Vaicom Pro both fully registered. I also used SRS and URadio (full version) long time ago for a few times. All those tools are quite unknown to me and I’m looking to make the best out of the combination of VA+Vaicom+Teamspeak(needed for radio tools)+Discord(meeting point with friends, being able to communicate in general with them)+correct DCS mapping+Warthog Hotas+ either SRS OR UR (depending what is being used on server). Tried to find out a good strategy myself but the whole combination seems to be a bit overwhelming. At least I managed to install both programs and tell my german windows 10 to be able to use english voice recognition. Any hints where to start and how to map everything? Im a sensoryx backer myself. Did it just by hoping DCS will make use of it. Sensoryx wants to support DCS but we need ED to jump on the train. Didnt they mention they are on the way of providing a better base to hand/gesture input? My sensoryx did arrive today. Installing.....
