Den Ram würde ich auch etwas upgraden. V.a. keine 4er-Module einbauen. Allerdings ist der PC wohl nicht umkonfigurierbar wie es aussieht. Dann müsste ich doch wieder selbst bauen oder mich nach einem umkonfigurierbaren KomplettPC umschauen. Da fand ich bisherige Angebote aber schlechter

Hey Kane, Danke für deine Rückmeldung. Bisher ist es nach wie vor mein Favorit. Ich denke bei Komplett-PC geht man immer auch Kompromisse ein, aber ich finde es sind noch vergleichsweise wenige und ist ausnahmsweise wirklich mal ein Angebot mich eine Komponente komplett verschreckt. Ich warte noch ein paar Meinungen ab und dann bestell ich das Ding wohl :)

Langversion: nachdem ich endlich meine CD Keys für alle DCS Produkte finden konnte, möchte ich wieder einsteigen. Leider konnte ich meine damaligen Blackshark- und A10C-Versuche schnell vergessen. Mein TFT verlangt nach native 2048er Auflösung und DCS hat damit meinen Rechner komplett in die Knie gezwungen. Details runterschrauben hat kaum was gebracht. So ganz habe ich aber bis heute nicht verstanden warum ich nur 5 bis 20 FPS hatte. Mein Dualcore schafft 2x3,2 GHZ und damit is je Core doch ordentlich CPU-Leistung da. Besonders wo doch BS nur einen Core nutzt oder genutzt hat. Dazu noch 8GB Ram. Macht die ARCHITEKTUR des Rechners SO VIEL aus? Künftig würde ich gern das doppelte oder dreifache an FPS haben und liebäugel mit dem o.g. Rechner. Ich bin hardwaretechnisch nicht auf dem Laufenden aber besonders die große SSD, die hochwertige GraKa und die CPU sehen für ein KomplettPC-Angebot echt gut aus. Preislich isses aber die absolute Obergrenze. Ich frage mich nur wie störend Win8 ist und wie "schlecht" 8GB (v.a. 2x4) sind. Upgradeoptionen finde ich nämlich keine. Früher habe ich selbst zusammengebaut aber ich bezweifel, dass es sich lohnt. Würde gerne Eure Meinung hören. Ich möchte v.a. Arma 3, DCS und IL2 BOS / ROF laufen lassen

Hey const! Thanks a lot! It did help! FC 1.1 did work instantly and for BS1 I had to use the "pilotname1"-login which didn't work before. Once again: Thanks a lot. FINALLY I can access all my DCS products again. Now I just need a fix for my G940 after so many years and a new computer :D

Still no reply. This can't be true. :( I bought almost every module and pledged for DCS 1944 and Im just asking to giving me access to my serials - nothing else.

So, after two more weeks no answer for my support tickets and no answer from EtherealN. Why did I even bother to buy more DCS products. This is pathetic for an active game series :(

How difficult will it be to make a map with Edge? Is it possible to make an educated guess?

Thanks! I opend tickets in both shops for both products I miss (see my first post). However, I still need the BS1 Key. Otherwise my BS2 Key doesn't take my anywhere.

Hey, Im missing the FC 1.1 Key on the Lockon-Shop-Page (it's just saying "Older Orders" but no CD Key). The FC 2 is shown to me on said page And Im missing the CD Key for BS 1. The Keys for A10C and BS2 upgrade are shown to me on the DCS page but not even an transaction number for the first BS 1 Version. I also tried the "pilotname+1" trick and looking under previous versions. I also opened a support ticket in each shop but no love. However, I need at least my BS 1 Key for activiating BS 2 in DCSW. FC 1.1 shouldnt be a problem as I have FC2 which should be good enough alongside LockOn to activate FC3 if Im going to purchase it.

Thanks! Just bought P51 and CA. To I.: It's a module but it has to be installed seperatly (lockon+Fc3), right? Should I install it before DCSW and DCSW will find it then?

Bought CA and P51. (Already had A10C and BS2) Thanks to OP! However, both FC modules can't be bought. "Not for sale" although it says available for [...] germany [...]. Im german, Im in germany and I have a german IP. Any help?

Questions on DCS and FC3: I. Lockon+FC3 have to be installed seperately and dont merge with DCSW meaning you have to start FC3 and not DCSW when you want to fly FC3 planes? II. Assuming I. is correct: But you can still join the same MP-Servers? III. If you have the standalone planes from FC3 you can integrate them "better" by being able to load them as a DCSW module? IV. Wasn't the major improvement of FC2 to be able to fly with the Lomac/Fc-planes together with the DCS products? Now the major improvment of FC3 is being able to fly with DCS products in.... ermmm DCS"World"? Did I get this right? I know there are some more tweaks and features but that's how it sounds to me as far as I understood.

Sounds like a plan fishbreath! However, the Eagle and Flanker standalones with be sold seperately I guess and they will 100% equal to the FC3 models (guessing too). That brings me close to the price of FC3. Side question: The Su25 FC Version is sold as DLC on Steam but the A-10A isn't. Is there any reason for it? (just asking, Im not interessted for now as the T model is in DCSW and I already bought the A-10C... especially as long as I cant use my keys in Steam)

Im still a bit confused though The shop says concerning FC3: Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 3 will require an installation of Lock On: Modern Air Combat or previous version Flaming Cliffs. "OR" does mean to me my FC2 should be enough for FC3 to install. But will I be able to install FC2 without Lockon? Or is FC3 just asking for my FC2 key?

Thanks Exorcet and Silver Dragon for the very detailed information! So I even need the old LockOn. :/ I only have FC2 Key. For FC1 I only have the order number in an old email. Both have been bought from the "the fighter collection" page and I cant look up the old CD key for FC1. When it comes to LockOn, I dont even remeber anymore where I have bought it digitally :( But I still have some time as FC3 is too expensive to me right now. Id only buy it full price with a new computer, new stick and some buddys to play with. So Im going to try out the things for free and the things I own.

Hey there, I bought BS, BS2 and A10C, FC1+2 long time ago. Didn't play much except BS1 (played with modified MS SW2 Stick) because I bought the Logitech G940 and ran into so many troubles which didn't solve after several FW updates and new gaming software versions. Now I stumbled across DCS World in Steam and Id like to active my ED-related keys in Steam and give it another try. I know this is still a topic being worked on by ED. Maybe I ll install the regular versions and give the G940 another try (although I doubt he ll make it). I. I was looking for a AI vehicle/plane list for DCS World but couldn't find any. Especially because I'd like to know which planes I could fly against with a P51. Looks like at least one AI plane from that time made it into DCS (the FW190). Could someone point me to a master vehicle list for the recent DCS World Version? II. If I ll buy FC3, I can play the (more basic) planes of FC3 in DCS World, right? FC1+2 wont help me? Do I also need my old LOMAC key? That could be troublesome as I have problems retrieving some of the old ED-related keys. III. If I see it right, there's no playable modern "A2A-plane"/Interceptor in DCS, right? IV. Last question: AFAIK one of the IL2 devs is creating a WW II sim based on DCS. Will this sim be a module(s) for DCS World or a standalone product?
