  1. Great campaign! I am doing both campaigns using the chronology of events sheet and that has made it so fun. One question I had is I noticed the Toledo stinger skin for the f16 isn’t showing up when they are in the air at the same time as when I am flying the f18 missions. At least through mission 5 I haven’t seen it yet and I got close to them to check it out and then used f2 to confirm a couple times. Am I missing something or is this a bug?
  2. In the briefing, the LGB's were said to have code 1656 set up for the player. It appears that 1688 is currently set up as the laser code on the bombs for this mission. Thanks!
  3. I just started mission 5. In the briefing I noticed it said TPOD and Harm Pod are equipped. Looking at the armament screen the Harm Pod isn't equipped. I don't know if you intended it not to be equipped or if the briefing is incorrect.
  4. After the hotfix patch today I tried this mission again. I saw in the bug reporting that someone said the HAD bug went away for them after the patch so I was excited to try this again. The mission wasn't set up with JHMCS and I had been adding it through the ground crew EVERY time previously when the mission started. I tried the mission again today but forgot to add the JHMCS and in this one case the HAD worked like normal and I was able to lock targets in the HAD. I completed the mission as it was much easier to engage the ships and I also gave my wingmen extra fuel pods on their wings as well as 120 chaff/ 0 flares and some of them engaged the ships and one even engaged the bandits (they still went defensive way too much) but the extra fuel helped them not go bingo as fast. I tried the mission again with adding JHMCS in the mission planner and the HAD didn't work. I then tried adding it on the tarmac with the ground crew and again the HAD didn't work. I also turned off the JHMCS in flight and I still could not lock targets in the HAD. Having the JHMCS equipped might be tied to the HAD bug of targets not locking. I reported this potential discovery on the F-16 bug forum but if anyone was adding the JHMCS, try doing it without it and maybe your HAD will work correctly like it did for me. Also add the fuel and 120 Chaff to the wingmen as it made a difference (at least until SorelRo's updates come out in a patch).
  5. This is definitely not fixed, but I did some experimenting on mission 4 of Dragon's Fury and may have discovered something.   6. I feel like even though there are 4 f15's & 8 f-16's, I am the only one who will engage anything. Everyone keeps going defensive 1/3 of the way to waypoint 3. They go bingo fuel and just hang back by waypoint 2 and never engage. The F-15's are useless. Getting the harms off with just using HAS is the only way to get them to work now due to some other DCS bug. Is there anything that can be done to script the other fighters to be useful? Can the engagement range of the ships be tweaked so my wingman and Uzi 2 get close enough to engage? Might help the F15's get involved as well. I am just going to have to skip this mission after about 15 tries because even though I launch all harms, and take out 3-4 J-11s, it isn't enough to get the B52's close enough to all launch their missles.
  7. On the HAD, I selected the threat table 5, which contains 409-411. I am trying to lock through the HAD screen in EOM mode. I will try not using the HAD anymore just to pass the mission. Will use the harm weapon screen with harm as sensor and set up the harms in RUK mode with those specific codes through the harm screen towards waypoint 3.
  8. I tried turning off the ecm as well. That unfortunately didn’t help lock up the ships.
  9. I am having this exact issue right now on the new Dragon's Fury campaign mission 4. My HAD can't lock onto anything more than a second. This has never been a problem before and I tried power cycling the HAD and it did not help.
  10. I don't know if I am doing something wrong here or if there is a better approach. I am using my ecm in mode 2, flying around 28-30 thousand feet. I have my had set for threat 5 to match up with the chinese ships. I can't get the had to lock on any of the red emitters. The only time I do I am way too close and the enemy ship is firing. I am on my 8th try and can't seem to do anything useful. I am burning tons of fuel evading incoming missles but can't even get off any harms. Please help.

  12. In part 1, when we get to the tanker and the wingman is instructed to refuel, he dives and heads the opposite direction. In part 2 the wingman did not attack any of the ground targets. I did my attack and he just followed me without dropping any bombs. I followed the waypoints and hit the sam with JDAMS and then regrouped at waypoint 10 and proceeded to the air base and dropped my MK83 there. I then went to refuel with Arco and my character told wingman to hit the port refueling probe and again the wingman dove and flew away. This is in the latest patch 2.9.5.55300 from 5/22/24. I got 100 percent after part 2 but I had to skip part 1 after refueling. I was able to update my logbook lua to show that I didn't skip.
  13. This is an issue again in mission 7 version 2.3. The taxiway is blocked by the awacs due to the mobile stinger vehicle being too close to the taxiway. This is towards the end of the taxiway before you turn right to be perpendicular to the end of the runway.
  14. So I played this through with the F18 as intended and enjoyed the campaign. I also fly the F16 so decided to try to play it through with that aircraft as well. You can do this by going into the mission editor and changing the aircraft, also arming the plane with similar weapons as what the F18 had etc. Please note you can’t save the missions in mission editor but you can play them after you make the changes. You also have to change out the refueler to a KC135 or in some missions making the KC-135 controllable and clicking the box next to the radio frequency and assigning a separate radio frequency to it. Other than that it has pretty much been plug and play. I highly suggest that this campaign be officially be copied over to have the option of playing as either f16 or f18. With the lack of content for f16 currently I am sure more folks will buy this campaign. So far I am through 9 missions and have successfully completed them. I actually have liked playing it as f16 more than the f18.
  15. Playing Syria with F18, with the targeting pod on flir my screen blinks, when I turn it to ccd the blinking stops.
  16. I am getting an issue where I get random flashes of light across my whole monitor. It happens very randomly between 5-15 mins apart. Using dlss on and off. When off using dlaa. This is in f18 at night in Syria.
  17. It is broken in 2.9. It does not show the horizontal line consistently. Once it stops working it won’t come back on.
  18. Just completed mission one, but noticed the carrier wasn’t moving, don’t know if that is intended or not but wanted to let you know.
  19. In mission 01 you can't take off because the AI Helicopter won't clear the cat. Can't really start the campaign due to this issue.
  20. Question on mission 3, I am told to fly to portal 290 and avoid the Turkish coast. I have no idea what portal means and so I fly heading 290 and end up violating Turkish airspace. I can’t find the word “portal” on searching campaign docs. Please help me understand what to do here. Thank you!
  21. Looking forward to this, especially after how much I enjoyed your A10 campaign. Any updates on when this might get released? I also saw that the Syria map is getting additional items added to the east, hopefully soon! Will the timing of that be a factor on when you release your campaign?
  22. Good day, just finished mission 14. The low cloud deck spawned right over the mission objective so I had to fly 1000-1500 ft over the ground level to spot targets and destroy them. Seems like it wasn’t intended for this as Davy told me to use an lgb at one point. With the clouds spawning randomly at this point you may want to raise the base cloud layer. After the mission objective was complete Davy told me to form up on him but he was already landing 25 miles away. Also I landed with the wind so was landing at about 155 ground speed on 29R, should have been landing into the wind at 11L. Loved the mission and campaign so far, just wanted to give feedback to help.
  23. Hi ChillNG, did the updates for cloud altitudes in mission 6 and 11 get updated in today’s patch? I didn’t see anything in the patch notes?
  24. On the atc violation are you sure you are taxing to the correct runway ramp? In the video above I believe the pilot went to the final ramp at the end of the runway. I believe when you taxi to the runway on the right that the atc directs you to the second to last ramp to take off. It’s the one that is angled 45 degrees to the runway.
