  1. Seems like it's been a while, I'd love to get this tool back as well. The cross-eye is at times unplayable.
  2. I had the same problem, I just figured that whatever was docked was the target. Glad I'm not the only one who was confused!
  3. The app you want to have specific settings for has to be running too I believe.
  4. Sure - I have an i7-8700, a 2070 Super, and 32gb of DDR4 RAM @2666mhz.
  5. Just to throw this out there - I was having middling performance with a Rift S - lots of stuttering, occasional lag/freezing, etc. I was constantly tweaking settings etc. to no avail. I caught the G2 on a Black Friday sale and went for it. After setting it up, I have found it to be a much better experience - much smoother, little/no freezes/lag, and of course it looks gorgeous! My personal theory is that the Rift S (like the CV1) is no longer supported by Oculus/Meta and as they update their software, Rift performance is being negatively affected. That or SteamVR is a better implementation for OVR
  6. That's pretty much what I found on my own investigation. You have to have the tanker use an "x" band and NOT select AA on the UFC to get the distance and bearing to show up now.
  7. Yes, the low level chat is what I was referring to. So all is well then, thanks! Serpents Head 2 is next after I'm done with this one, btw!!
  8. Just finished the 2nd Serpents Head 1 mission, and while I'm enjoying the story and the campaign so far, I'm finding the voices difficult to hear over the game sound. What do I need to adjust to balance that better? I couldn't hear any of the flavor chat after finishing the intercept, though I could tell it was there it was impossible to discern. I didn't think it was going to stop me from completing the mission, as I assumed if it was important there would be text as well, but I would have enjoyed hearing it. Thanks in advance!
  9. Is there a Case II/III version of this?
  10. Well that answers it then, thank you for clearing it up!
  11. Even if you are using a laser Maverick? I would have thought that as long as the FLIR was SOI then any sensor commands would flow to it rather than the weapon.
  12. I was using a laser Mav, so that shouldn't impact it, should it? In any event, it didn't work in VR when I tested it last night.
  13. Well that's weird. I went and checked it quickly and it worked as advertised. The only difference is that I didn't test it in VR (ie it worked fine in non-VR). I wonder if that could be it....I'll have to give it another go with the goggles on and see.
  14. I'm not able to change WIDE & NARROW on the FLIR using this keybind - is this a bug or am I doing it wrong? I also read in Chuck's guide that a long press of that button will switch between CCD & FLIR modes. If so that doesn't work either. Bug or me again? Thanks!!
  15. Whats the transition like for someone whom has been flying the I? Is it just learning a few new systems or is it starting from scratch?
  16. You don’t happen to have a replacement for the MAN RNG/UNCAGE pot/switch do you? The shaft on mine came out and won’t stay in, so I’m thinking it will need to be replaced.
  17. I'm going to add my voice to the "both" category! I like my A-10 and Black Shark, but FC3 is fun too.
  18. Good tip on the no rudder trim. Takeoff tutorial is excellent. I was able to safely take off no problems first time. The plane seemed to lift itself off the runway.
  19. I ran into this too. For me, the fix was to make sure the password was put in the config file in quotes (ie "password") then all was well. This was in 1.2.3 too.
  20. Anyone else have problems with sound cutting out in the F15 when in afterburner? If I bring the throttle out of burner, the sound returns.
  21. Prolly will come this weekend, as I have little available time for a new patch!
  22. Snap views in multiplayer and single player are different for me. Any way to get them to be the same?
  23. Buy, download, fly. Simple as that.
  24. No, it isn't seen by DCS World as an axis/axes :( I've tried this type of mapping MIX 3 Target_Designator_Left ^ Target_Designator_Right MIY 3 Target_Designator_Down ^ Target_Designator_Up but it winds up being too sensitive in FC3, but it is ok in BS2.
  25. Sure, love to take a look at it. I have no problem tweak it to my needs, I do that all the time. I think it helps me learn the sim. I hear you about keeping similar actions (ie TIR reset, TS/Vent talk button) in the same spots from sim to sim too! I've been messing around with a file, and I'm looking for what a more mature profile would look like - what commands you feel are important enough to warrant going on the stick, general layout, etc. One thing I'm having trouble with is handling the TDC. I used the same basic setup I use for BS2 shkval, but it is too sensitive for my taste. Here is what I use: MIX 3 Target_Designator_Left ^ Target_Designator_Right MIY 3 Target_Designator_Down ^ Target_Designator_Up Any suggestions in that area are much appreciated!
