  1. Belly landings are survivable yes. Belly wop? I have no idea what that is? Are you just being racist or something? And thanks for the health tips... WTF?
  2. And make sure all SAS channels are engaged and EAS is actually armed (not flashing on the warning panel cos youre too eager to fly and didnt let your INS spool up)
  3. I cant even run TARGET - CTD every time.
  4. Its always worked with AI wingment - Its just in multiplayer where you cant hand off targets (easily) to your wingmen. THen again in MP they're not wingmen are they? They're other flights IIRC. Which also sucks.
  5. A simulated trained A10 pilot? He probably knows how to use mark points... Do you? :)
  6. Doesn't a trailing drogue give you more leeway once you're connected though? It also doesn't give me the idiot on the end of the boom who I swear smacked it through the canopy as i approached last night. Grrr.
  7. It dims the MFCDs so that you can keep your NVGs on I believe. e: Gah. I read "What" not "Where"
  8. Is JTRS switched on? "One of the switches on teh bottom row of the block of switches under the left MFCD, along with CICU, TGP, lasre arm, gun arm, master arm, etc.
  9. Get the torrent.
  10. Indeed it is on the divert page of the CDU Nav page. Runway 13
  11. I really enjoyed playing this mission through a few times, thanks!
  12. My votes, such as they are, would be for CDU use as above and some on working with JTAC under all 3 types. Eg while I can buddy lase with a JTAC unit and destroy the target from way up above the clouds... I have no idea really how I did it or what the radio calls I was giving out (Laser, Spot, Shift etc) really mean.
  13. Duh - youre right its the IR pointer I was thinking about - Just tried it and it works as it should - cant see the laser but can see the pointer and both.
  14. Your own laser or a buddy lase?
  15. On a slightly related note, am I dreaming or did you used to be able to see the laser at night with NVGs? Im sure I remember seeing it around beta 3, but not any more.
  16. Check under Speedbrake rather than Airbrake? e: Or that^
  17. LShirt + LWin + Pause (Active pause) will help you on the training missions.
  18. You actually manually arrange files based on angular velocity of a HDD platter? That may be the nerdiest thing I've ever read! How do you even go about doing that?! Both finding which sectors are where on the disc and enforcing that certain files are places on those chosen sectors.
  19. Since this is a thread for quick questions... Is there any way to prevent the current steerpoint from automatically incrementing when I get to it? I'm thinking about situations when I want to run multiple passes over the same area (eg. CAS for a dug in infantry unit etc). Its just frustrating when it keeps incrementing to the next point when I want to sit on that one. I guess I should be using mark points or something instead...?
  20. On a slightly related note (enough to not warrant another thread anyway) is there a difference between the autopilot switch on the left throttle and the one on the LASTE panel?
  21. Eddie's 9 line is right here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=58793
  22. D'oh! Thank you, must have completely missed it in the manual :( That would explain my thoughts about crosswind anyway.
  23. Hi, this feels like it's a really stupid question but I can't find concrete information on it in the manual or online, so here goes. Occasionally a small left-to-right arrow appears laterally across the TVV, but I have no idea what information it's trying to impart, or under what conditions it appears. I've a feeling it might be trying to tell me I'm in a crosswind, but I can't be 100% about that. Does anyone know what I mean and what it's for?
