  2. I think it's important to report that DCS (Open Beta) has a bug who produce sometimes game crashes when the player try to respawn. When the crash occour it's necessary to start again DCS, so, during the tournament, if an F14 pilot disconnect the reason is this bug and it's necessary to wait a couple of minutes to let the player reload the game and connect to the server.   6. Okie was a great pilot with exceptional control on F14. Tf30 are very hard to control during a dogfight but he was able to do it, with F110 you can do what you want and you can forget stalls.
  7. F14 g gauge keep memory of the highest G force reached. Okie also told he usually go past 6.5 G and that F14 has huge high G capability. So you can understand that people told you the truth and that you are completely wrong about this argument.

  9. No offence but you misunderstood that real pilots claim really high g capability of the tomcat, people here is only reporting what real pilots told.

  12. The cat is able to pull 12.5g, it has the capability but the risk is to damage slats, frame, intruments, etc

  14. Grumman successfully tested F14 airframe at 13G, Okie pulled 12.5 G because nobody told him about the changement of strenght to apply to the stick. The only problem to over G the cat is that the airframe is stressed by high g turns and this limit the lifetime of the frame very much.

  16. Thx for your kind answer. The problem is that it's not possible to go past mach 2.2 also diving with full afterburner with almost no fuel. So if only was possible to see mach 2.34 it would be great.

I also remember you that if you look at the manual F14 is not able to go past 6.5G but obviously this is not true
  18. Ok, Grumman validation test for F14A at Mach 2.41, data sheets and DoD Mach 2.34 requirement are only tails for childrens.
  19. B Tomcat, anyway both A and B on the charts are mach 2.4 capable.
  20. It's still impossible to go past mach 2.2, tried several times with 0 winds and 20°C, instant mission free flight Nevada after jettison fuel tanks and shot sidewinders, so with clean configuration. Sooner or later i would be happy to see the Cat at 2.4 mach.

  23. I know HB is is trying his best, i'll try my best to have more patience
  24. Untill november 2020 the flight model was good, there was only the need to fix the speed at which flaps break and that was been fixed. The problem was that the FM was changed with the problems everybody knows. Also i've never understood why HB didn't roll back manteining only the correct flaps break speed. I know HB is working hard but i also think that if they update us with something 1 time every month this could help to be patient. It's really a pain every time that for few degrees i'm not able to win a dogfight, but, as already told, i will always flight only with F14.
