  1. Hi, I'm trying the script from this thread, it works perfectly, but I only see a strange effect when I start a F-18 mission. The stick and throttle axles initialise on non-cantered positions, even if the physical stick is centered. When I move the stick everything goes right. Someone saw this behaviour? In DCS I have checked the option for synchronising the physical position with the simulation. Thanks!
  2. Actually the ghosting is still there, but it is true that it reduced due to the increase of FPS...
  3. I will give a chance...
  4. Neither do I, but in that case the ghosting is horrible, something it can be seen in the video (stop the video and see it frame by frame), and wearing the glasses is even worse.
  5. I'm in contact with the Vive technical support, I discovered some strange errors in steamvr when the ghosting appears, and they have started investigating. I also recorded a video with the effect... https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilter/?url=https://www.dropbox.com/s/0qjftu3yifretqg/IMG_3083.MOV?dl=1
  6. I started lowering and lowering, until I reached the lowest settings possible for 80% SS, and it started working on solid 90 FPS where the ghosting disappeared. I tried to capture the visual effect with my mobile phone but is quite difficult, and the videos that I got doesn't show the ghosting. Don't know if there could be an effect from my eye, persistence or something like that... or it is just that the refresh rate of the mobile camera is different (tried at 30 and 60 Hz).
  7. I have just passed a 3D Mark benchmark and it scores a good punctuation (with hyperthreading enabled, for DCS is disabled).
  8. I will do some trials. Apart from seeing ghosting in the side view, when rolling I also perceive ghosting.
  9. I see, you mean lowering settings gradually until you perceive that the ghosting is disappearing at 45 FPS.
  10. Once I get the 90 FPS, and there is no need for reprojection, the ghosting disappears. Note that even if I see ghosting, movement is very smooth without stuttering or jumps. It is a perfect ghosting or double vision... (I have a lazy eye, so I don't expect any cross eye problem). As said imacken, the HAGS is disabled. BTW, I use just the option 1 of the link you sent.
  11. I don't understand, I started from a complete clean system, and I still see the ghosting! I'm pretty sure that the system is not over stressed, actually the frametimes are enough good....
  12. I'm installing everything from the scratch, but just one question, did you install vive software from the executable downloaded from the vive webpage?
  13. Yes, something like that, the fpsVR developer has published some posts in steam support pages. https://steamcommunity.com/app/908520/discussions/0/3056238885195719099/
  14. I have discovered that the communication between Vive Console - SteamVR - fpsVR has some bugs, and it cannot display frame drops and reprojection, so it is not possible right now to get that information. I think that my last option is to start a new windows clean installation, and see what happens.
  15. I tried to explain the ghosting with fpsVR but it has been quite confusing. I just see the FPS at 45, but I was not able to identify the reprojection ratio in the overlay.
  16. You both must have something similar in your system configuration, which differs from mine. I want to test again seeing the fpsVR statistics during the flight, maybe I see something related to SteamVR.
  17. Could you please share your result? I found this interesting Reddit thread discussing about reprojection: https://www.reddit.com/r/Vive/comments/nu9d98/htc_vive_pro_2_summary_of_the_problems_so_far/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf I tried find information about the performance drops metrics, but no luck.
  18. I don't understand what those numbers mean.
  19. Thanks, I was expecting something different around "Async reprojection", but both reports say the same thing.
  20. Could you check your Vive system report, here is mine:
  21. Indeed really strange. What is the version of your nvidia driver? My SteamVR is installed under steam, but I guess it is not relevant.
  22. I'll try your suggestion, who knows... But it seems that the render application has some issue.
  23. I reinstalled everything but still the same behaviour. Even if I removed SteamVR and installed again, the settings were recovered from the previous installation, so maybe something is wrong there. Here are the settings: My DCS settings: And the nvidia settings: Do you find something different?
  24. No no, I just tried extreme mode but right now I'm in ultra mode. I should repeat the complete installation then.
